The view is the ONLY reason to go to this OVER-RATED restaurant! The food was only ok, and the service was horrible! It was our 30th wedding anniversary, and they ruined it! We were asked to leave our table before we were done saying they, “had another guest waiting on the table”, we had only been there 1.5 hours! Additionally there were empty tables available! Ridiculous!!!!!!!!
Horrible place with horrible service and they DO NOT CARE about the customers! I will NEVER give this restaurant another dollar of my hard earned money.
PICK ANOTHER RESTAURANT IN PITTSBURGH, there are many!
Very happy with dining experience. Have dined there many times never a disappointment. My only regret is that people do not care enough to dress for dinner. Not a fault of the restaurant by a sad commentary of people in general.
View, food, service, and atmosphere was fantastic.
I wanted to make my husbands birthday extra special. The staff wished him happy birthday when we arrived and sat us promptky. The view of the point was incredible. My husband loved the view and his dinner. The staff were all polite, friendly, and professional and we will definitely return.
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent view. The staff was especially attentive and timely with everything. Highly recommend it.
Everything was good the music was good atmosphere was good and the prices are good and I would definitely invite family and friends plus I will go back for a second or third or fourth time excellent.
Very delicious food and the service was impeccable
Of course a beautiful Pittsburgh view and elegant restaurant. Just wish it was not so expensive
Awesome view of Pittsburgh, food was great. Service was very friendly.
Excellent service from start to finish. The waitress was on point with the specials and we were the first customers of the evening. The food was exquisite. Served at the perfect temperature. The only complaint was the Lobster Bisque had no trace of lobster it was all broth. We both got bisque and it was the same for both of us. However the rest of the food was 2nd to none. The desert was perfect. Overall experience was tremendous.
It is a wonderful venue to make memories! We always enjoy when good food is accoupanied with good service and company!
loved this place! view was outstanding regardless it was a foggy and rainy night. servers were very nice and showed hospitality, very fancy and nice place to go for special occasions. Had the best dinner for the price, was very full after the 3 course entree. Will come again! loved it
Food was good, not over the top. Ambiance was amazing! The views, especially the one we had next to the windows overlooking the point and downtown Pittsburgh, are amazing. Our waitress was attentive, but not overbearing. Would recommend for special occasions.
Wonderful...we had their Winter Special. The food was excellent. And the desert was huge. Would definitely recommend!!!
Pleasantly surprised at food quality - greatly improved over last visit quite a while ago. Glad we came back. We had a table by the window- a win for us. Good service. Arrived early - 45 minutes before reservation and was accommodated and still with a window seat. Earned points for good customer service. We will be back.
This was our annual Valentine's Day dinner with special friends. Everything was awesome! Tom was our waiter and he was amazing! The food was delicious! The Sinatra singer was superb! We had a wonderful evening and thank you for having such a wonderful establishment to enjoy!
The wait staff and dining area were wonderful. Everybody was very nice and the food came out quickly. My filet was done perfectly. However, my girlfriend had crab cakes, which she found shell and said they were bland, and our potatoes were dry. My filet was great as were the vegetables, but I don’t think I would be here again. The manager came over and apologized, but the situation wasn’t a big enough deal to make a fuss about it.
LeMont was the perfect place to go for a Valentine's dinner, and I definitely plan on going back during another time of the year. I loved the fact that even though it was a very busy night, they took my window view request into consideration and allowed us to wait for the next open table near a window. The food was delicious, and my Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly. Also loved the variety of desserts as well! The only complaint that I would have is that it was a two hour experience, with service being a little slower than I would have liked, but I understand that that was probably their intention, and there needed to be space between tables ordering on such a high demand night. Our server was great though, and very personable! Highly recommend LeMont for a nice night out!
Then food and service was excellent, we would definitely recommend it and plan on going back
The service was wonderful and the place is beautiful but people go to restaurants for the food. Our food tasted like it came out of a package and was heated up. It didn’t taste fresh, wasn’t seasoned to add any depth of flavor. We ordered from the winter celebration menu. Unfortunately we will not be coming back because the food wasn’t worth it.
Happy Valentines Day early! Marco was excellent! Window table to watch the Pittsburgh city lights come up was / is always a wonderful experience.
I had a great time girls very fine and fun I highly recommend make sure you try the shark tale
My experience at LeMont was quite pleasant, the service is wonderful and delightful. The all of my food was exquisite other then the veal. It was a tad dry. My girlfriend got then raspberry duck that was outstanding. Overall it was a great dining out experience, the view was to die for
Great restaurant, great food, and amazing views, but it is a very pricey establishment.
Everyone was accommodating and I appreciated the service and food was excellent! Obviously it has a view inside and out.
My husband and I were celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary, and the Lemont made our evening spectacular. From the hostess, server, Maitre’d, and other staff members, we felt special from their attentiveness. The food was prepared to perfection, the desserts were mouth watering, and Dani made excellent drinks! The ambiance and view was breathtaking. We will certainly be back.
We went on Tuesday night, so it was quiet and there was no waiting for anything.
Grand special occasion dinner for our son turning 21-food was great, drinks were better and appreciated valet parking. If your goal is to be a very special place for special occasions, you are spot on!
My wife's birthday dinner started off wonderfully. The ambiance and the food were just about perfect. Our waiter was helpful and friendly and the view is second-to-none. However, there was a duo of musicians playing piano and guitar (and singing) that just killed the mood with the volume they played at along with their selection of material (including the theme from "Happy Days"). This encouraged dancing from patrons including 2 young children with an adult that spent the greater part of 40 mins just running around in circles as fast as possible, inches from running into us. We notified the Maitre'd and he neither helped nor offered to move us to another part of the (less-than-half-full) restaurant. Our meal and drinks were worth the $150+ dollars we spent, but the atmosphere was more akin to CHUCK-E-CHEESE's than the LeMont. We will definitely be reconsidering our choice to visit when the next special occasion comes up.
Was treated like we were only people in whole city let alone restaurant. Staff, food, wine, music, view were superb. Only regret was no pictures. Reason to come back. Thank you for a memorable experience.
The food and service was wonderful . The view was beautiful.?Meal came out promptly
Booked way in advance, asked for window table for my husbands birthday, was seated in front of pole. Arrived early for drink at bar, was told we needed to be seated right then (45 min. before reservation) or we would lose our table. Food delicious but my salad was brought after my husband finished his soup. Hate to say, but waiter had bad body odor. Recommended by my mother in law who has gone there for years. Sad it’s fallen pretty low.
We usually enjoy this restaurant but not this time. Wait for first course was over an hour. My husband’s wait for his second drink was at least 20 minutes. It was well over two hours before we could finish our meal and leave.
Excellent Food and Service with a beautiful view of the city of Pittsburgh skyline
Great food. Great service. Will definitely be back again soon!
We have not had the occasion to dine at the LeMont for years and totally enjoyed our experience. Don, our Waiter, was attentive but not obtrusive. We found the menu to be creative and our dinner outstanding. Don't intend to make it years before we visit again!
We went to Le Mont for my boyfriends birthday during restaurant week and had a superb experience. The waiter was attentive and provided us with information surrounding his favorite dishes. We had a bottle of South American wine with dinner and our waiter was extremely good at topping off our glasses. Our meal started with a traditional salad adorned with veggies and basaltic vinaigrette dressing and an assortment of rolls on the side. Next, our main courses came. I had the huckleberry salmon, while my bf had the cashew pork chop. My salmon was cooked perfectly, but could have used a little more of the sauce. I have to say, his was definitely the better of the two dishes. The flavor was impactful and had that Asian zing. Last, we had dessert. We both got the pecan pie with maple bacon ice cream. It came with a piece of bacon covered in chocolate as an added bonus. It was delicious. I actually couldn’t stop eating it lol. Overall, great experience!
One of the most beautiful restaurants in Pittsburgh. The view, the ambiance, and the quality of staffing and food are exceptional.
Restaurant week is the best bargain going! Will plan to go in the summer.
