Lemongrass Fusion Bistro

Great experience all the way around. I would go back!
The food was outstanding. Best pho and pad Thai I’ve ever had. The service was ok. The wait for the food was very long.
Cody took great care of us and we had a nice evening catching up over drinks and appetizers - which turned into dinner. Lemongrass Fusion has a nice happy hour menu and lends itself well to sharing small plates. Also had the pad thai - and would not get the chicken again as there wasn't enough to warrant an upcharge. The pad thai was delightful and would have been just fine without the small amount of chicken added.
This is my favorite restaurant. Has been for 20 years. The only thing I noticed Saturday night was something slight has fallen off of the plating of dishes and care taken in cooking. It used to be that every item would be perfectly plated, the signature puffed pastry would be bubbly and perfect. Also, my Lemongrass signature cocktail was not cold...
Still love it, but you asked
Upon arrival the host at lemongrass was not very warm, we did not feel welcomed at the restaurant. The decorations were very mismatched, and the restaurant itself did not seem very clean. We sat down, and actually started looking up different restaurants to go to because it took nearly ten minutes for a server to bring water over. I do not believe this was the servers fault at all, it did honestly seem like the issue stemmed from poor management. There was a table sitting next to us, halfway through their meal and the manager came over and told them to move their food and drinks to a different table because she wanted their table for another party, which is incredibly unprofessional. The server was nice, and was attentive after the initial hiccup and the food was okay. I was not wowed, and did not feel like I got my money’s worth.
Service a little slow. However our server was great
The Arnold Classic was in town so it was busy, but the service and the time it took our food to arrive was very good!
Great food, atmosphere and fun. Definitely recommended!
Food was very bland and uninteresting. Chicken sate was chicken breasts on a plate with some sauce. Tuna steak had very little flavor, and quite odd to serve on penne with artichoke and garlic - strange combo. Menu is a quirky mix that isn't coherent. Waitstaff was great, no complaints there. Meh.
Best seafood Rangoon I have ever had.
Food was excellent. It was very fresh and well plated. Portions were just right. It took a bit of time for the meal to arrive but it was worth the wait.
The veggie spring rolls were delicious and the Pho was awesome!
Service was horrible. Did not get a single item correct and overcharged is for more than two items we didn’t order
As always, a great time was had been all! Good food, interesting drink options, great personnel. Our waiter was a little harried trying to wait tables as well as seat new comers, but she did a great job regardless. Would like to see more “by the glass” wine options. Will always return due to the variety of menu items, especially the small plates.
Very poor service. First time. Won’t go back
We received one incorrect dish and one dish arrived cold. The vegetarian sushi was good.
Food was decent. Took forever to get seated for our reservation. After we ordered our drinks the waiter dropped the tray, spilling the drinks on 2 of our guests and on one of the guests designer hand bag. Waited a while for refills and all the food and appetizers came out at the same time. Overall experience was less than desired.
Over great experience. Our server was terrible, but the food atmosphere and ambience were great. I've been here a number of times...the service is usually pretty great so I think this time it was just a fluke.
I was very underwhelmed my Lemongrass. I heard of Lemongrass Fusion Bistro before and thought it would be a nice and yummy dinner to go out with my family friend I had not seen in a while. I was very unpleasantly surprised by the appearance and food at Lemongrass. I received below average sushi and an extremely costly check. Not a good combination if you ask me.
The server was awful. Just awful. I never give bad reviews, but I like the owner and want her to beware that things are going downhill. The menu has changed too, and is less vegan friendly. Please bring back the better menu and absolutely the better service experience.
There were 3 of us and we were craved at a table for two which wasn't appreciated given we had a reservation. Also, service was extremely slow.
They were busy but they kept checking on us. Great customer service.
Went on Valentines Day so was very busy and took a long time to get food. Server was very attentive and kept us informed on the delays. Allowed for nice time for conversation and they even gave us a discount due to the delay. The food made up for any delay.
For the price of the meals, the ambiance and the food quality are not that that level. Comparatively to other cbus restaurants, there are so many other options that are simply outstanding in that price range. The bright spot was the bartender.
I have been several times to Lemongrass the food has always been amazing and very good service.
Nice experience but a little pricy for the portion sizes.
Lemongrass has a really modern and fun aesthetic partnered with great service and even better food!
The food is just ok, I ordered the teriyaki chicken and I asked for my white rice to be replaced with fried rice. I asked the server if the fried rice is scrambled with eggs and she said yes which is what I prefer. When my food came there was an over medium (loose yolk) fried egg on top of my rice. I wasn’t pleased but ok I’ll try something different. I was having a lunch meeting and only ate a couple bites of my food. The server was attentive and asked if she can box my food to-go, I told her I will eat a little more and she can box it up later. Later came she asked if I was done, I said yes and she took my plate away. As I waited 10 minutes she returned and I asked for my boxed food. She literally said to me, that she thought when I said I was done that I didn't want my food and she threw it away. Sitting there shocked and confused I explained to her that she asked me did I want it boxed I said yes but after I eat a little more. When she came back and asked was I done I was safely assuming she was following up on having my food boxed. I asked for my meal to be reordered without charge, she looked surprised and said she has to ask her supervisor. After that, she came back and said that I can reorder but my white rice will not be replaced with the fried rice I originally had because it was considered an "upcharge". Hun? Excuse me? Let me get this right...you threw my food away by your error and I can’t get what I originally ordered because fried rice with an egg on top is an upcharge??? I told her that was terrible customer service but ok. Needless to say, I will not return.
The server lost one of the three tens and one penny we put in the bill pocket. We all saw the three tens. Then she came back and asked for the missing money. We have all been servers and would have handled it much differently, making up the lost funds from our own pockets. It didn’t feel great.
Dinner before Chet
We went to Lemongrass before a concert. I made a reservation for a table of 7, and everything was excellent. Our server, Taylor, was very nice, professional and timely. Our food was delicious and aesthetically pleasing. Also, the restaurant was not too loud or noisy. I could tell the management put a lot of thought into making it a classy environment that everyone can enjoy. 5 stars!
Restaurant is lively, so that means on the loud end. Good size portions, great service, delicious Pad Thai and sushi. Will visit again when back in town.
Wonderful happy hour and quality food
Consistently good for Asian fusion - the pad Thai has long been a favorite. Excellent service!
Service and quality has declined on every visit to the point we will not be returning. Lipstick on my glass, hair in my food, lukewarm service, and 10 minutes to get a drink from the bar when the place was practically empty. The food used to be amazing but now...I’ve had better pad tai from takeout places. It’s a shame because the location and ambience are still great.
Wonderfully attentive service. The shrimp and scallops in the trio were delicious, however the crab cake was a bit dry and without much taste. Thoroughly enjoyed the fried plantain dessert!
Our first visit to Lemongrass was enjoyable and the food was delicious. We would recommend this restaurant.
We were in Columbus on business and took my sophomore buckeye out to dinner. We took him here because he loves asian food. It was so nice. We were able to carry on a conversation with our son as it wasn't too loud. It was very fun. Others around us seemed to be enjoying their meals as well.
Thank you for the great visit.
Host was a bit snobby and presumptuous. Server seemed to be a bit checked out. It took a very long time for our entrees. My husbands came out 1st, and that took about 25 minutes. Mine came 10 minutes after that. I had the stuffed salmon and it tasted bitter, broccoli tasted old, and sauce tasted like chicken a la king from a can.
