I love the Thai food, it was very delicious. I would have enjoyed traditional Thai dessert but they only have American dessert.

If you've never been to Lemongrass, the outside is deceiving. It's really nice inside. The food was fresh and well prepared. We had great service, granted it wasn't very crowded because of looming Hurricane Mathew, but we were pleased to find a place open because it was our daughters birthday :)

We went to Lemongrass for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. First lesson - never judge a book by its cover. The outside is nothing special and the entrance is a non-descript door on the side of the building. However, the interior is cozy and has lovely ambient lighting. I arrived first and was quickly greeted by the hostess. There was a mix-up in my reservation but it was resolved. The menu is huge and has options for every taste. I had the Deep Blue Sea - a selection of seafood in a red curry sauce. My friend had the Chef's Sashimi Special. The Deep Blue Sea was beautifully seasoned and the seafood was fresh; however, it was swimming in too much broth and the calamari was overdone and rubbery. My friend's meal was much better. The seafood was extremely fresh and the yellowtail tasted like the ocean. The only complaint was the baby octopus. It was rubbery. So it seems Lemongrass has difficulty preparing squid and octopus. The Thai iced tea is typical of Asian restaurants. The service was hit or miss. The waiter greeted me and offered me water but did not come back to the table for some time after my friend arrived. We also waited a while for water refills and the check. His excuse for slow service was that the restaurant was busy. That's totally unacceptable, especially on a Thursday night when it wasn't very busy. My friend and I watched other waiters provide excellent, timely service. Overall, Lemongrass was a good experience. I would go back but I would not want the same waiter.

We went two days in a row because the food was so delicious. The hot pot, the sushi, the whole fish all were delicious. The lychee martinis were very good, as well!

We had been to Lemongrass in the past and enjoyed their hot entrees. We had sushi this time and were extremely disappointed. We had two specialty rolls ($14 a piece) which were exactly the same size as a simple $8 roll. All of the rolls looked the same, inside and out... we couldn't even tell which was which by taste. They were very bland and lacked freshness.
Our server, while proficient, was not very friendly and didn't even tell us which roll was which when they arrived.

I've been to Lemongrass's other locations, and they've all been good. The food is fresh and flavorful. In addition, it's very reasonable in price. We enjoyed it very much.

This place was a last minute choice when our reservations at another restaurant didn't go as planned. We searched and found this restaurant a couple blocks down I booked a table for 6 people at 8:26 for an 8:30 reservation. We were warmly greeted by name as we walked in. We were asked to wait in very comfortable seating while our table was prepared. I don't think we waited 5 minutes before our table was ready. Everyone was very friendly, food was fantastic. There were no complaints at the table and with so many people with different tastes that's very difficult to do.
The service was great, our apps were brought out quickly...entrees took a little longer than expected, but we didn't even notice that at the time because of the attentiveness of the staff.
All in all a great experience. They saved our night and my niece's birthday celebration.

Despite the food being okay, the service was horrible. We has to continuously as for more water or iced tea. The table next to us came in after us and left before us, not because they were quick eaters, but they had a different server that was responsive to the table. We had to flag down our waiter to take the order. He went missing most of the meal. We then had to flag him down again to get the check even though we had been clearly done eating for over 15 minutes.

The food was ok, but not for the price paid. It really didn't turn out to be the way other reviews indicated.

Enjoyed a great meal with visiting family. Their young children found menu items that were very satisfying. Fabulous sushi selections & clever presentations. Fast becoming our 'go to' place.

I visited this restaurant for Valentines since all others were booked. I must say I was impress. Restaurant looks bad from the outside but when u actually walk in is a very nice restaurant. I liked the fact that is very quiet and romantic. Tables are too close one to the other, that's the only negative comment I can say about it.

We made a reservation for Christmas evening. We arrived early and they were able to sit us on the patio as we requested. The waiter was very friendly . He told us upfront that they were very busy and it might take a little longer than normal. We ordered Mongol beef, Hawaiian dancer and chicken stir fry with garlic sauce. We had an eel roll for an appetizer it was just ok. But the entrees didn't disappoint! Prices were very reasonable
We will be back!

I must admit, I didn't expect much based on the exterior of the building. However, once inside I was pleasantly surprised! The decor is what you would expect from a high-end restaurant. Equally impressive is the service staff. They are all genuinely friendly and helpful. If you want to impress your friends by taking them to a little-known gem, Lemongrass is the place!

Just happened to be in the area and the name sounded inviting. It was Friday evening and the restaurant was almost full but we were seated right away. Everything was great, the service, the food and the ambiance. There were two sections, one a little more romantic setting and the sushi bar area had more light. I ordered the whole fish and it was one of the best presentations and flavor that I've ever had. I would return.

This is our favorite place in Fort Lauderdale. We highly recommend experiencing once and then you will return. Only occasionally, like this evening, were we rushed by our server to complete our meal and leave. I believe that he was young and inexperienced. All other times were perfectly paced and relaxed. Perhaps with time, he will understand the finer points of timing and pace.

The food and service at this place were excellent!! They have a great variety of sushi and small plates. I recommend the Volcano roll! The staff was really friendly too and they brought out a free dessert for my sisters bday with writing on the plate. They were also very nice when we asked them to take pictures of us. I am looking forward to going back.

If you like Asian food, this restaurant is a must. The selection was amazing- you could choose from many Thai, Japanese and Vietnamese foods. I must say that all our selections (Curry Puffs, Tom Kah Soup, Ginger Sauce Stirfry & Masaman Curry) were delicious - we will definitely return. In addition, not only was the food good, the service was impeccable.
