Lemongrass - Aria Ratings and Reviews
Mediocre food.... nothing near as good as Joe ‘s Thai in Anywhere, US. Prices high for flavorless Thai. I ordered a double whiskey from bar.... was short by 1/2 oz....bar tender says it was correct but when he poured back in shot, it was short!
Waiter tried to talk us down on spice level— we ordered 10. But he kept trying to talk us down —“nothing I can do if it is too hot...!” It was not hot.
I’d just go to White Castle next time.... cost will be about 75% less
We made a reservation for a party of six. We were seated promptly and had a nice table in the bar area, but it was not in the main dining area. We liked the table though. They were doing dim sum on carts and the cart came by right as we sat down, so we ordered a few items. I am not sure if that set us up for failure, but it went down hill after that. The waitress we had was not very friendly and not helpful at all with the menu. It was a little confusing with the dim sum carts and the menu. The waitress would disappear for long periods of time and no one was coming by to check on us. Empty plates sat for long periods of time. We started clearing them and stacking them for the staff to pick up. Basically, we were bussing our own table. Once we ordered, the food came very quickly (almost too fast, as we did not even finish the dim sum we were eating). They also did not clear the table before they brought the food so they had nowhere to put the new arriving food. This made us feel rushed. The waitress did not really seem to care and was not attentive to our needs. The food was good overall. The whole fish was excellent and the other dishes okay. The overall mood was ruined by the poor service and lack of attention to detail. This waitress would be more suited for the coffee shop I think. She brought it all down a few notches.
OK the food is GREAT the best Thai food I have ever had. What I did not like was the service. The waitress was nice, but my wife ordered a glass of wine off the menu, which had no price, and was recommended by the waitress. so not wanting to sound cheap and asking the price, she got a glass. which was approx. 4 oz. When we got the bill it cost $26!!! I believe the waitress should have let us know it was that much when she recommended it. Partly our fault for not asking, but my wife asked what they had for wine, and she selected that one from the menu!
Salty, oily then undercooked. Oh, and I forgot overpriced.
If you are paying for ambience and not care too much about what you are eating, ok.
It’s just Vegas, right?
But if you expect some level of culinary expectation beyond “Lean Cuisine” quality, go somewhere else.
Just like a cruel slot machine, this place will promise you excitement then underwhelm you with cheap-thrilling food.
Went for Dim Sum. If you're used to having Dim Sum you will most likely find the selection lacking, as there are very limited choices. The dishes on the cart were not the freshest. Wait staff had to be asked a couple times to bring over cocktail that had been ordered. In general a rather mediocre experience.
I booked a table several days ago and many time options were available. When we arrived we were seated in the bar instead of the main dining room. The service was terrible. The food was good but our entire experience was soured by the poor seating and the service. We will not go back.
Dined here because we were looking for Dim Sum, there is a small offering of pieces on the daily menu, with more on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We had Fish Cakes and Pot Stickers, Sesame Chicken and Chicken Pad Thai, all tasty, large portions, with attentive service, and a nice dining room. We'd go back to try the Dim Sum on the weekend.
If you love Thai/Asian and spicy, Lemongrass does not dissapoint. Prices were reasonable considering its Las Vegas. I highly recommend it. I had #4 spicy and it gave me a good kick. Can't imagine anything higher than a 7. Shrimp dish was excellent. And for dessert the coconut ice cream with coconut sticky rice and coconut flakes was a great finish.
We had an amazing experience with lemongrass in Las Vegas. We made a reservation in the afternoon and even though we arrived early (25min) we were seated right ahead.
We took a four course menu including a glass of wine and cocktails for each course (which add up to 80$ pp). You can choose between the spice of your dish on a scale from 1-10. We choose 3 as "medium spice". The food was delicious and the service just amazing! I would definitely recommend lemongrass as place for dinner while staying in vegas.
