Food started off good with appetizers but went downhill after that. I remember it being better last time. Service was good, lots of young people, but not so experienced.
I have been to this restaurant before and always enjoyed my meals. However, they were unprepared for the New Year’s Eve crowd. Despite having a special prix fixe menu, there entrees in my party of six that were either over cooked, fish full of bones or had cold sides. One person in my party had berries and cream for dessert that consisted of a massive mound of whip cream that tasted like cool whip surrounded by two strawberries sliced in half. Furthermore, service was nonexistent never even asking if we wanted coffee.
Awesome food and super attentive staff! Every visit to Lemon is a fantastic one! The owner and staff take especially good care of their patrons. Always a positive experience dining at Lemon!
The waitstaff was great.... knowledgeable and attentive and did not rush us through our meal. The food was outstanding... from the hummus and pita to the homemade gnocchi to the delicious biscotti...I can't wait to return!
Chef Ash was very friendly and Alex - our waiter - was very attentive! Great food and atmosphere!
Our favorite place to eat. Food is beyond delicious, service is excellent, and we always feel like special guests when eating at Lemon in Freehold, NJ. Trt it and you will not be disappointed at all.
Date with a very special woman
Food was pretty good but way over priced, the wait staff was very friendly and accommodating, over all experience was ok, no real complaints, specials weren’t so special but decent, just extremely over priced for the meals we had, it’s unfortunate, probably would have gone back but not for the quality vs pricing.
It was first time there. Food was excellent Service was excellent. Would go back again
Always good. Owner greets guests. Nice food and hospitality.
Very nice atmosphere, comfortable. Food was OK, but a little on the small size, and everything is Ala Carte which makes dining expensive here. Expect to spend about 40-50 dollars per person.
I had the gnocchi entree which came in a "chili" size bowl which was small and disappointing. This dish should be served on an open plate so the add in seafood or vegetables can be displayed as well as any garnish. The dish was just a jumble of ingredients.
We also had the rice ball appetizer, which was good, but not up to the hype as being the "best in NJ" or words to that effect. I think it is a bit weak, at any restaurant, when you only get the entree without a side vegetable, since everything is ala carte. Some of the lamb meals other patrons were eating looked better.
We left a bit hungry , so if you are looking for a full meal, this is not the place.
Thought it was terrible that we cant use coupons when we book with open table. If I had known, I would have cancelled the open table reservation and called the restaurant. Just seems like more work for the restaurant. But if we have to play the game.....
Chef Ash always puts together a great meal, the service is always very good a must check out
Food was nothing special. Service was obsequious. Tastes were ordinary
Our dinners were good The cappuccino was cold but they made us another cup and gave us strawberries n cream for our inconvience. I feel a salad should be included with meal . A La Cart menu gets expensive. Specials for night way too expensive
