Food was wonderful, but it was 30 minutes before someone came to take our drink order, for the price of a bottle I expect quicker service.
Very good food and consistent. Service is excellent. Deserts are delicious.
This is a great Thai resturant.. and it's in SYR... And I and living in NYC. Modern, Bristo in back has nice bar, you have 2 menus back there, I like it a little more if a table cloth dinner around bar ok, if not you go through main dinning. Wine expensive, so I got the Bar Cab Simi.for 60.00, best value on the list. If you do not want it hot, ask for it mild or you will not be happy with the heat. We always order MILD. Unreal deserts, go for it!.
Professional staff, lovely atmosphere, great food
My daughter and I had such a great time. The food was amazing and the device was great as well.
Always a phenomenal meal!
Great food, amazing desserts!
Elegant dining experience in perfect ambiance. We sat outside, which was perfect for a warm evening. The cobblestone streets gave it a chic, cozy city vibe. The food was incredible and service was great. The only item that was less than desirable value was the wine. A $12 bottle sold for $40 was a frustrating markup. We went for my birthday and even though I marked a special occasion, nothing was provided, which was a bit surprising.
Incredible food and great service! We were very impressed with how quick our food came out
We enjoyed the food and the service was good. We did not feel rushed even though it was a busy Friday night. The dessert was really good! We had the chocolate can can and I would have loved to try some of the others if I had any room left!
Remarkable service, delectable food, diverse selection of beverages, all in a sublime venue. Whenever I leave, I always look forward to coming back. If you’ve not dined here, you really ought to.
Always try to find a good Thai restaurant when we are traveling and Lemongrass did not disappoint! We were meeting a friend who we hadn't seen in a long time for a leisurely lunch. We were there for three hours and never felt rushed by the staff. Very tasteful decor....original artwork by a Thai artist. The Saturday lunch menu is actually the dinner menu....large selection of some tried and true Thai dishes, but also innovative and creative ones as well. We had appetizers, entrees, and dessert and all were delicious! Was very happy to find that Khao Soi was one of the specials, as that is a favorite northern Thai curry that is not typically found in your average Thai restaurant. Save room for dessert!
Was visiting from out-of-town with two others, also from out of town. Had been there several times previously over a period of years, the last time being last October. Thrilled that this place continues to thrive after so many years. Food is inventive and delicious . Our server Rudy is a fascinating man and helped make the evening even more enjoyable than just the food. We had a mix of many things, duck and beef and marvelous vegetable dumplings and the most wonderful panko-crusted sushi roll. And even the chicken pad Thai was terrific. If I lived in town, I would be a regular. Unfortunately, will just have to look forward to next visit. One thing -- if the Landmark Theater is having a big show, you might think of coming to the restaurant on a different night, because the street parking, which otherwise is plentiful, can be a challenge.
A very nice meal with good service and attentive wait staff.
It was well worth the hour and a half drive! We will be going back very soon!
Unique menu excellent selections attentive smart service extensive wine and drink list
Excellent meal before a concert at the Landmark. Seafood to steak, carpaccio to spring roll the food is what makes this place special.
Never been disappointed by a meal at Lemon Grass. Their oysters are the best in the area.
Exceptional care given to appearance of dishes, and complex flavors to match. We will have to go back because we couldn't try all the tempting food selections in one meal.
Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant! The food was excellent and Aaron was a very attentive and friendly server. The menu was a little out of our usual comfort zone but even my particular husband could find something he liked and I could find something to satisfy my more adventurous palate. Desserts were phenomenal!
Not only was everyone very friendly, but out server (I wish I remembered her name) was very knowledgable and funny! She knew the right balance of being available without hovering. Also, the food is beyond amazing. I had the evening's special red and yellow curry dish with chicken, scallops, and shrimp and egg noodles - and the way the flavors melted together was beyond perfect. I will definitely come here again for another special occasion.
Most recently we dined on a Friday night about 7 so I understood the slow service seeing that almost every table was occupied. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. The coconut shrimp and oysters for apps were perfect- Thai clay pot was delightful as usual. The lost slipper and strawberry Napoleon were a perfect ending.
We had a quick dinner in less than 1 hr. The garage attendant demanded $10 cash as a fee for people dinnng at Lemon Grass. Why?
The service was good. The ambiance was not so great for date night. My husband and I were in the front corner next to the windows and we had a birds eye view of trash pickers and other nefarious characters in the “alley.” One of whom took it upon himself to wave at me as he walked by. Though not the restaurant’s fault, I would recommend avoiding the window areas of this restaurant. Also, the tables were so long I had to shout at my husband and we were so close to our neighbors I felt like I was part of their conversation. This restaurant was not as upscale as I had hoped it would be for the extremely rare get away I have with my husband whilst on vacation. My prosecco was brought out In it’s tiny bottle which was set in the table for me to pour and my husband’s iced tea came in a Budweiser glass. All that said, the food was delicious, so you have to take the good with the not so good here.
Our service was slow for some reason. Usually its top notch!
One of our favorite restaurants in Syracuse. Excellent food and service in a nice setting. A little pricey but generally worth it.
This was my first time at Lemon Grass and it did not disappoint! Had a drink at the bar before dinner and the drinks were well prepared and bartenders very attentive and responsive. Dinner was great, server professional. Will definitely return!
Love everything about Lemon Grass!! Food, ambiance outstanding!!
Overall the quality of the food did not match the price tag. I was really excited to come try this place out but it did not live up to the buzz it gets. I love Tom yum soup so it was heart breaking whenLemon Grass served a soup tasted like hot, zesty Italian dressing. Yuck. The roll trio was also disappointing. It definitely lacked flavor in the two “rolls” however the spring rolls were amazing! Probably the best item on the menu!
I’m glad I gave this place a try but I would not go back.
this is a relatively authentic Thai food restaurant. I'd definitely like to go again and recommend it. love the food there and the deserts are awesome!
As usual. Outstanding evening
A wonderful dining experience. We were seated within minutes of arriving (had reservation) and the service was excellent. Our waiter was very patient with our dietary preferences and recommended meals we both enjoyed. This is NOT a "fast food place" so if you expect to be in and out in an hour it's not the place to go. If you like a leisurely evening in a pleasant surrounding with well prepared food you will enjoy Lemon Grass. Try it even if you are not a fan of Thai food. They have a wide variety of steaks and other meats as well. We had the Honey Duck and the Pork Chop and they were delicious. Because there is not just one huge dining room it is not a noisy as some restaurants but it is still a busy place.
Waited on waiter for 10 minutes, food was too salty (steak). I complained but they just said sorry, nothing was deducted for the bill. I ate 50% of the steak. Won’t go next time.
The food is always good. The service excellent. The live music at the bistro bar was an unexpected bonus.
We had a fabulous meal with outstanding service! Thank you!
I have eaten here for 20 years and have never had a bad meal. The service is always wonderful. The menu is great, but the specials are even better. This restaurant has the best and most beautiful desserts of any restaurant in Syracuse. I can’t wait for my next visit here.
One of my favorite places in Syracuse. The Trio appetizer is incredible!
Filet in green curry outstanding as an entree, shrimp dumplings rock as an appetizer
Very good, many gluten free and vegan choices. Very helpful staff and excellent service! Worth the trip!
