Incredible food and service!!
Had a lovely table outside on a perfect summer night. Mellow two piece band playing outside added to ambiance. Excellent food, our favorite restaurant in Syracuse!
Delicious flavors and great service. Live music topped off the experience
Everything was excellent. Jeremy, our waiter, also made it an excellent experience.
Always excellent service and food
A beautiful and delicious birthday dinner. Thank you!
Great menu !! Outstanding service and absolutely delicious dinner and dining experience!! One of my favorite restaurants to visit in Syracuse, always top notch . Thank you for the wonderful evening.
The food was absolutely amazing! Service was excellent. Restaurant was clean and nice. Will definitely come here again.
Very good food. Excellent, spicy green curry. Good for vegetarians.
We ate outside on the streetside of the MOST, and it was nice and quiet, with lots of lovely purple hanging flower baskets nearby. All of the staff wore masks, even outdoors, which I greatly appreciated since I was there with my 10 year old, currently ineligible for the vaccine. Food was EXCELLENT, and the Red Balloon dessert was really fun. We got a Lychee Thai Basil mocktail that was fantastic. I'm so glad that more and more restaurants are offering mocktails, and this one was nice in that it wasn't too sweet. We got the Duck and the Bangkok Beef and both were delicious!
Great summer visit with outside table. Excellent food and cocktails. Wine steward walked I block to sister restaurant to find special bottle of wine.
The food was fabulous- we had oysters, apps, curries AND dessert- wonderfully inventive & tasty to the end!
Great atmosphere, engaging staff and excellent food. I would highly recommend
Excellent food, as always. Wait staff was top notch. Great ambiance- outside table on warm evening with two guitarists providing background music. Always feels like a treat.
It was wonderful.
We made the choice to dine outside which was a mistake. The ambience and noise level would have been much better inside. And there were people who made comments when walking by.
Exceptional service. Shrimp dumplings are amazing! Will definitely come back.
My husband and I went for dinner for my birthday. The website clearly stated Saturday dinner 3:30 - 9:30. We had a 4:30 reservation - it was pouring rain - I was dropped at door at 4:15 - when I walked in, the hostess snapped at me that they weren’t open till 4:30. I backed out and would have gone elsewhere but we had a gift card. We entered at 4:32 and I told the still unpleasant seeming hostess that I hadn’t appreciated her rude abruptness, to which she replied, well we were in the middle of a staff meeting. Bad start - no interest in remediation. Appetizers were very good - pork belly and seafood dip. My dinner was good - mushrooms with scallops - my husband ordered a NY strip, medium, with fries. His steak was mostly grey with a little pink, dry and flavorless. The waitress did not come back for several minutes - she looked at it and said that’s definitely over cooked and swooped it away. His new steak came back 15-20 mins later. I was done eating, as I had my food for 25 mins. New steak cooked fine - not even any salt/pepper on it / none on table. New fries badly undercooked, pale and limp. No point saying anything. He finished - I had intended to order dessert, but was done with the experience there. We had a $200 gift card from the county restaurant voucher program - so we thought. We paid $100, the county paid them $100 and I had a receipt showing $200 balance, but they had only loaded the card for $100. So ended the night in shame when the waitress came back saying the card wasn’t enough. I showed her the receipt - she said, oh it’s one of those, and took it to the manager. Came back eventually and said they put it back on there? Whatever that means. Seemed a little sketchy - hope others pay attention when they get gift cards. So bottom line, some tasty food you can’t get elsewhere around here, no focus on customer service, concerns about the sleight of hand with the gift card.
We were traveling from Boston to western New York and spent the night in Syracuse. Lemon Grass was located close to our hotel and we had read good online reviews. What a terrific spot! We were seated in the bistro area of Lemon Grass which we found delightful -- a combinate of wonderful Thai food and an old fashioned bar-type setting with a helpful server, a lively bar scene and a piano/sax duo that was excellent. We highly recommend this spot.
The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. There was live music when we were there but it wasn’t loud so it made for a great experience
Sat outside on a lovely evening. Drinks were very good as was the service. Loves the food. Totally lovely evening of dining
I took my SO here for our 2-year anniversary. It was the perfect place for an anniversary dinner! The atmosphere was great, the wait staff was amazing and the food was soooo good. I not only would recommend this place but I've already told all of my co workers how amazing the duck was!
Lemongrass never disappoints. Top notch food, great service, and a deep wine list makes for a memorable evening.
Food was top notch! Apps were great, specials were great, great cocktail
Menu, and desserts were excellent as well! Service was top notch
When ever I'm in Syracuse I have to go to Lemon Grass. My brother and sister and their families are so lucky that they live near buy and can eat their often. It's in my top 3 Thai restaurants that I've ever eaten in and I've lived in NYC and Orlando Florida. If they offer the special with rice noodles, lobster, shrimp red and green curry you must order it!! Everything from start to finish is amazing here!!!
Food and service was awesome. Best meal I have had out in a long time.
I have been coming to Lemon Grass for over 20 years, and while the decor is distinctive it is beginning to show its age a little. Service was excellent, slightly slower, but not their fault as I am sure they are as short staffed as everyone else. The food was, as usual, impeccable - astounding and full of flavor - and THAT is what is most important. I will always come back, again and again.
I requested our party of 10 be assigned the tax exempt status we hold through Syracuse University. I also confirmed when I was called withthe reminder of the reservation. Yet my Dean was still charged the tax and didn't realize it until after.

Great food, nice decorated indoors but with COVID we chose the patio and that one is between Main Street and other bars so a bit noisy …
Service, location, food and desserts were great.
Outstanding service & delicious food!
Lemon Grass is my favorite restaurant in downtown Syracuse.
Food was delicious as always! Shrimp dumplings and Prig Pow!
I have gotten lunch takeout from Lemon Grass many times and have never been disappointed but this was the first time I have dined in and had lunch and was extremely disappointed. From the food to the service the whole entire experience was not good at all. In the beginning, our waitress was very attentive been as the dinner went on she was nowhere to be found for half an hour at times. We went during dining week so we all got three-course meals and the time between courses was very sporadic and took way too long. I was with a party of five and most of the girls enjoyed their food but my filet mignon was overcooked and very bland. For the amount of money spent and the time we were there (about 3 and a half hours) I was not happy at all.
Excellent food and service! Great location and ambiance.
Always delicious food, and the staff were terrific.
Always excellent! Strawberries are in season, and the strawberry goat cheese salad and strawberry Napoleon reflected the best of this seasonal option. Great meal, great service!
What a great experience for commencement weekend, and they stayed open late just for us..! Actually the nicest staff, server even apologized for her facial expression when the food wasn’t quite correct… what incredible tableside manners. The food was also quite fun, aesthetic, and very exciting. Its clear a lot of thought was put into the restaurant & experience… and its not terribly expensive either.
Our waiter, John was wonderful. Honestly the best waiter we have ever had. The food was also wonderful
