Food was delicious as always! Shrimp dumplings and Prig Pow!
I have gotten lunch takeout from Lemon Grass many times and have never been disappointed but this was the first time I have dined in and had lunch and was extremely disappointed. From the food to the service the whole entire experience was not good at all. In the beginning, our waitress was very attentive been as the dinner went on she was nowhere to be found for half an hour at times. We went during dining week so we all got three-course meals and the time between courses was very sporadic and took way too long. I was with a party of five and most of the girls enjoyed their food but my filet mignon was overcooked and very bland. For the amount of money spent and the time we were there (about 3 and a half hours) I was not happy at all.
Excellent food and service! Great location and ambiance.
Always delicious food, and the staff were terrific.
Always excellent! Strawberries are in season, and the strawberry goat cheese salad and strawberry Napoleon reflected the best of this seasonal option. Great meal, great service!
What a great experience for commencement weekend, and they stayed open late just for us..! Actually the nicest staff, server even apologized for her facial expression when the food wasn’t quite correct… what incredible tableside manners. The food was also quite fun, aesthetic, and very exciting. Its clear a lot of thought was put into the restaurant & experience… and its not terribly expensive either.
Our waiter, John was wonderful. Honestly the best waiter we have ever had. The food was also wonderful
Graduation, great food! Great time
Second time we’ve celebrated a special occasion here and it didn’t disappoint!! The service was excellent and the food was delicious- started with the oysters and two of us had the ribeye -cooked to perfection. I had the chicken in green curry which was amazing!! Just the right amount of kick to it!!
Excellent Thai food in Syracuse. Worth the visit. Did not disappoint!
Beautiful night sitting outside with a fabulous and fun waiter and delicious food!
from start to finish--excellent. Appetizers--next time may be all I order--had three all great. Very generous portions of all.Service very good. Definitely a go to for a special evening
Our waiter John was excellent!
Outstanding and Service was amazing we had Erin as our waiter he was fabulous
Amazing food and staff!!!! Relaxed setting. Definitely going again!!
Fantastic experience, delicious high quality food and extravagant desserts!
The food was absolutely delicious— every entree was tasty and we esp liked the oysters with siriracha sauce. The one hitch was that we had to wait longer — much longer — than other diners for our meal. There was no real explanation but all props to Billy the manager for making it up to us.
Thank you for always providing the service & food!
Great food, lots of menu choices, personable service.
We loved it! We went for our first time and can’t wait to go back again. Great service, great atmosphere and amazing food!! The menu was beyond our normal, but they know what they’re doing with their food! Delicious!
Top-notch service and OUTSTANDING food quality! Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our meal celebrating a special occasion. Fresh oysters, perfectly grilled Cowboy Cut steak, beautiful presentation of each item. 5 people- 5 different desserts and they were amazing. Great wine selection too. As is often the case, a quality dining experience like you will have at Lemon Grass, is not low budget. You get what you pay for, and I was happy to pay for such a fine meal.
Our Favorite Restaurant in Syracuse ! However very disappointed ! First time out since ever covid lock down and was looking forward to the return however menu was short and not what was listed on table order ! Should have left then when what we expected was not on menu ! Service was polite but waited far too long for meal and coffee with dessert was cold ............ hope this improves !!!
Service was poor, from the beginning to the end. When wine finally arrived one glass was dirty, one wine was bad. Couldn’t find our server but found the host to bring another wine. Server couldn’t explain some entrees. One order arrived incorrect we just gave up at that point. The chicken in curry was dry and overcooked. This is not the normal experience at this restaurant. I understand they are all struggling and trying to do their best but we were sadly disappointed.
Aaron was our server for the evening and he did a fantastic job, very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly! The food was delicious as well! Very happy with our experience.
Good food good service desserts amazing area unique
Food was delicious, service was fantastic, and portions were more than ample. A little pricier than necessary for your non entree items (appetizers, drinks and desserts).
expensive but unique and food quality outstanding... totally worth the price!
Talking to a friend on where to go for a great dinning experience, since we have not gone out to nice restaurant since the Covid pandemic started, [over a year]
And she recommended the Lemon Grass. So me and my wife decided to give it a try.
And we were not disappointed. Great service, Great Food, Excellent atmosphere !
A very memorable evening! We will be returning soon !
Excellent food. Service and environment. Safe distancing practiced by staff and patrons.
Always consistent! Great service, amazing food! Oysters are always so fresh!
Was fantastic service and food, would definitely come back.
Oh my, I was so excited for this meal. It is very pricey ($30 a plate) but I love thai food soo much, I felt it would be worth it.
I was so sad - the food was NOT good. There was very little spice in the spicy dish I ordered. It tasted more like sugar sauce. This restaurant goes heavy on the meat and includes hardly any veggies. The traditional flavors I've come to enjoy (basil, peppers, coconut) were not there. My husband's dish tasted like soy sauce or maybe just like top raman noodles. This was the worst thai food I have ever had. I've had much better thai food for 1/3 of the price.
Great place for a romantic evening or special occasion. But save room for dessert.
Food and Service were good, not great. I was disappointed given it had a 4.6 star rating. The food at my local Thai place in Connecticut is far more authentic and worthy of a 5.0.
Food was excellent, as always, brought 3 new patrons who thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Service attention was a little off and some of the wines on the list that we wanted to order were unavailable.
It was our first dinner out since the start of the pandemic. We had hoped to eat outside, but given the weather, we were grateful for the option of indoor dining.
When we were initially seated, we were relieved to see our table spaced six feet from our neighbors, with a table in-between that had been set up as a hygiene station (had disinfectant , etc). Although still a bit nervous, we sat down of a delicious meal.
Unfortunately, toward the end of the entree, the manager and one of the waitstaff began disassembling that middle table and then set it for dining. Within a few minutes, another couple was seated about 3 feet away. Behind us? Another wait staff led that table is singing (!!!) Happy Birthday (singing... even with masks is one of the worst things you can do in spreading the virus). We opted to not have dessert, paid quickly and left immediately.
I’m well aware of the financial impact of the pandemic on restaurants. We’ve ordered takeout and have tipped generously in hopes of contributing in a very small way to their continuance. Had we been shown the table in its final set-up we would have politely refused and waited to return another day.
Undoubtedly, we will all have varying amounts of comfort as we move forward as a society. I recognize that my own level of caution is much higher than the rest of the population. The food is fantastic... but if you’re a bit leery about dining indoors, you may want to eat elsewhere for now.
Fantastic food, ambience and service. A must do when in Syracuse
Ambiance was great and everyone was notably having a good tone. Specialty drinks are excellent and the food was absolutely delicious, including the dessert. Presentations were beautiful and service was also excellent.
First time having dinner at Lemon Grass and we will be back. John was our waiter, very good service. Food was delicious!
Made reservation on open table and that was convenient.... still waiting to receive points toward rewards.
Spent 179.00 for two people.
First dinner out in a year due to covid so worth the money.
Amazing food and even better service! Lemon grass will be my new go to place!
