The food was, as usual, outstanding. The resteraunt was almost silent. It was completely devoid of any background music at all. It looked like a complete turnover of the waitstaff. The attention to detail was completely missing: Drinks were not refilled, leaning over the table to collect plates, and snarky comments/attitudes. As with all things, the price increase since our last visit was shocking. I'm hoping it was an anomaly, however, I don't think it is.

Classic spot , have been coming for years. My only problem was , I am a come as you are type, I “dress up “ for funerals only. I don’t look unkept or anything , I wore a simple polo. My waiter was quick with a “no coupons today.” I was taken aback a little as I didn’t have plans to use a coupon. Not that there is anything wrong with using a coupon, I just took it as he assumed I was a “coupon guy “ by my looks? Anyways, it was a nice dinner and aside from that it was great!

Unfortunately, this place has seen better days. The food was mediocre at best, the restaurant hadn’t been renovated the last 20 years, and the waitress was probably overwhelmed. But in their defense, they were pretty busy.

Lelli's was the best restaurant to take my party of 7 to for Mother's Day. My husband and I had dined there the prior month and were impressed with the food, service, and large tables, so naturally we thought of Lelli's when wanted to celebrate the mothers in our family. My mom, aunt, sister, cousin, and best friend all texted me afterwards and commented about their wonderful experience, the delicious food, and attentive servers.

Duane was an excellent server. My porterhouse was just okay. I expect better for a $95 piece of meat. My son's sirloin was good. We ordered a lobster tail that was on "special". It was a good sized 14oz tail but cost $51. The tail was over cooked and rubbery. The sides that come with the steaks are mashed potatoes and green beans which were not very tasty at all. Table side Ceasar was excellent and the service was great.

We went to Lelli's for Easter and probably don't need to eat again until Thanksgiving! The food was heavenly and the service was superb. If you go, ask for Natasha as your server. Her energy and attitude were sky high.

Had Easter dinner there- advertised as an Easter dinner- ended up being the regular menu. Service was outstanding! David was prompt and friendly- really good pace for lunch. Table side salad was good- huge lettuce leaves that prob should have been precut. Food was good- a bit over priced for what you get- filets with mashed potatoes and green beans. The dining room is dark and seems to be from the early 70’s- there are many water stained ceiling tiles as well. I prob wouldn’t return- for the prices I think one could find better atmosphere!

It was our first time there. I will not go back. The food was horrible. I had a filet mignon. I asked it to be cooked medium well. It was over cooked. Dried out and crusty. I did tell my server that at the end of our meal. My husband ordered Veal Parmigiano Ala carté. His first plate was supposed to be a anti pasta dish. It looked like it came out of a Oscar Meyer snack pack. His next dish was a minestrone soup and it looked like mush. There were several fruit flies flying in my face which means the bar that was on the other side if the wall never gets cleaned. They had Christmas garland wrapped around the ceiling with Christmas lights in it. Our waitress was fine but the atmosphere and food was just awful. It is a very large restaurant and there were only 3 other tables with customers at them. Clearly the quality of this place has gone down hill. Not sure how they are staying in business.

We ordered dinner perch (which was yellow perch, the best) and 6 oz filet, both "Lelli's traditional" which is a 6 course meal including bread basket, salad, soup, antipasto tray, pasta w Bolognese sauce, then our entrees were served w mashed potatoes and garlic green beans. All of it was outstanding. After completing our meals, we were offered really good spumoni ice cream. The prices might seem a little high at first, but the quality and quantity was very good. With a beer and a glass of wine, the total was close to $150 We highly recommend this place - The service, atmosphere, timing of courses and servers were top shelf.

We love going to Lellis. It is expensive but the food is amazing. The service is even better. Our servers are always extremely polite, knowledgeable and all over our table getting used dishes, replacing silverware, refilling drinks. They pull the table out so you can sit down in the booths, servers say yes sir no sir. I mean they bend over backwards for you. Even the bus boys are all over it. They are all dressed in tuxedos. The only complaint I ever have is the ceiling tiles 😆 they are nasty with a lot of water stains. It’s an old school Italian joint, almost reminds you of a place mobsters would hang out. It might be petty, but for the about ppl pay for dinner, they could easily replace the ten dollar tiles or hit them with some stain blocker. Other than that, food, service and atmosphere is outstanding. I am a steak enthusiast and I’ve have steak from all over this earth. The dry aged tomahawk with blue cheese, onions and mushrooms was one of the best I’ve ever had. Absolutely Amazing!!

This is one of the best restaurants in Metro Detroit. I have been going for a long time, and it is just getting better. I highly recommend it. The food is amazing, and the service is unmatched. The Traditional meal is just amazing.

The staff from the hostes to the coat check girl to our serving staff of Chad. Teresa to the buss boy Nathan were very attentive, but overly so. We celebrated our 43rd Anniversary! I loved my Veal Piccata and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his scallops! Everything was delicious!

Lelli's has always been the go to restaurant for special occasions. The staff, food and ambiance creates the perfect atmosphere. We spent 3 hours enjoying every moment. Never felt rushed.

Best food, best atmosphere, best service! Thank you Carrie-Anne and Peter for a wonderful experience. My dad is 99 years old and my mom is 85 years old and Lelli's is their favorite restaurant. This time around we brought along guests from California and they were so impressed with the food and service. Portions are so generous and delicious! Thank you again.

I have a gluten allergy. I asked for a Caesar salad without croutons but our waiter said the Caesar salad was "filled with gluten by its nature" but it is marked as gluten free on the menu. Either the menu is wrong or the waiter did not understand gluten allergies. The ceiling tiles are stained and the inside feels kind of old. At this price level, one should expect a nice atmosphere, well trained servers, and great food. Our food was good. The service was not bad. It was not good but it was not bad. At this price level, I'm sorry to say you can find much better restaurants.

The service is always excellent. Same with the food. I requested they make the Marinara sauce spicy, add peas and that they blacken the shrimp and chicken. They gladly prepared the perfect pasta dish for me. My friend said the perch was prepared perfectly. He especially like the soup.
