Felt like first night opening. 2 servers tried to wait on us, poor communicAtion. We were seated and asked what we wanted to order. No real experience or ambience here.
It was a wonderful dining experience.; the food was exquisite and the whole atmosphere just fantastic!
We had a lovely time at happy hour. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We were all impressed with the excellent service, Our server, Adele, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
It took 15 minutes when we sat down for a server to approach us and then we only got one water glass initially. The server came by once after that and I had asked for another refill of water and coffee but never got that. Overall the food is great but the service was poor which ruined brunch for us.
Amazing. One of these only restraints open due to bluzzard. They were short staffed. Some stayed overnight from them night before. Charlie our waiters attitude was spectacular. Polo our table server had a smile and was so charming. They manager Jaime was so amazing and kind . Food was prompt and excellant. You would never know how exhausted and pressured this staff was. Geography at their reservation desk checked on us to make sure everything was going great for us.
First visit was for a group celebrating my wife's birthday. I had read some good reviews on Lela and hoped it was good - We were all very happy with the food, service and atmosphere! The Tagliatelleini may have been the best pasta dish I've ever had. I'm looking forward to a return visit!
Delicious food, beautifully served. This is my favorite restaurant. I ate the Caesar salad with shrimp, my granddaughter had the mushroom tortellini, also doughnuts!
I especially like the decor, taupe walls and dark accents, elegant and relaxing!
We enjoyed our meal at Lela's. Good food and good value.
AMAZING food, and a giant selection of it. Everything is made in house, and MAN, it is good. Their desserts are out of this world, their skirt steak is delicious, their empanadas are delectable, the meatballs are fresh and so juicy, and all their dips and sauces are to die for! Highly recommended, bring your appetite.
This was a great spot for that part of the Twin Cities. I had the chicken for dinner - it was probably the best chicken I’ve ever eaten. The skin was perfectly crispy and the meat so juicy. Very attentive server.
Very nice atmosphere, food presentation was artistic and food was excellent.
a la carte menu. Food was ok but very expensive. Service was decent.
Easter Sunday brunch is a crapshoot anywhere you go. But Lela was the worst experience we've had over the years with special weekend brunchs. No vodka in the bloody marys 20 minutes after our order was placed. Food was quite good, but the noise level, and non-existent service made for a very unsatisfactory experience. $340 for our party's experience was outrageous. They should be ashamed of themselves for the lack of service, noise and discomfort they provided to us.
Came for Easter Brunch. I love Lela typically and have had many good lunches and dinners there. But they laid an egg that day. No one waited on us, had to beg to get someone to bring us our check, and food on the buffet was pretty sub-standard. Something was terribly mismanaged as it was more of a $12 meal, not a $40 buffet.
Really wonderful Easter brunch with delicious items on the buffet. All the food was outstanding and the décor was really great. Our entire party greatly enjoyed it.
Easter brunch. Good quality food. Felt a bit noisy and congested but it was a holiday. Could have used a few more service people. They couldn’t quite keep up with dish removal. Salmon and skirt steak both very good. Pastries very flakey. Nice fresh fruit.
Enjoyed the prix fix lunch ($15) with friend. All three courses were tasty--the salad, smoked salmon club (very yummy) and the tres leche cake, even though couldn't finish it all. Nice atmosphere. Lots of natural light and very modern/upscale. Service excellent, too. Although when we were there we were only one of a half a dozen guests, so . . .
Great experience! We loved it, for service, food and atmosphere!
Delicious brunch buffet for our daughter's 16th birthday. Everything was fresh, well-crafted and yummy. The space was beautiful and the service attentive. We will be back.
The brunch buffet is fantastic. They are always flipping the food to make sure it’s fresh. Tons of options, even a build your own parfait bar! So much fun, beautiful ambiance.
we came for the Sunday brunch. It was spendy but so worth it. The service was also very attentive and helpful. I would definitely be back
Great selection of food for brunch. Excellent customer service and very friendly staff.
Had a lunch meeting with a colleague. Nice quiet place with great service & a comfortable space. I haven’t stopped thinking about going back for the beet salad. It was amazing!
The “not your basic brunch” was sooo good! Loved the Paella, shrimp, and meatball!
Slow service. Our breakfast took 2.5 hours. The food took forever to come and wasn’t very good.
We were seated 25 min after our reservation.
This place is lovely inside. Unfortunately the food doesn’t match its decor. The food was so disappointing cause nothing we had was remotely good. With all the good restaurants around this place is failing completely. Good place for wine but not a good place to eat not even appetizers.
The bar serves mini cocktails at full price. Or a large glass is half full. Very odd.
Service mediocre. Steaks overdone. Very cool dining room though!
I really enjoy this place. The menu is creative and the service has always been great. Will plan to go back again soon.
Great modern architecture restaurant with a nice menu, lovely ambiance, and good staff. Don't be put off that it is co-located with a hotel; the entrance and building are completely separate. It was quiet for a Saturday night but that is probably because near a number of hotels it would get more weekday traffic. Food was terrific.
The space is beautiful. The wine list is definitely worth mentioning. Concept of the restaurant was a little confusing. The food and wine menus gave the impression of a more fine dining establishment. Based on this impression, the service was a little casual for me, though it was bad by any means. I was excited about the food menu. Quality of the food seemed to be top notch, though execution was little sub-par. I started with the crudo sampler. That was mighty tasty. For my entree, I did a little surf and turf. My lobster was slightly undercooked, and my steak was over cooked. I also ordered the Brussels sprouts as a side, which were dry and not very well seasoned. I did, however, really appreciate the salt “tasting,” which is where I was offered several different salts to use to season my food. Overall, presentation was decent, food was average, service was decent, but nothing to write home about.
The food and atmosphere were really good but the best part of our dinner out was our waitperson, Juan. He was very attentive, funny, and really nice. It was also very sweet that a dessert was provided for our birthday guest.
Nice to have a high-end brunch buffet relatively nearby. Quite a bit pricier than I would want/expect even for the great variety and quality of food they offer, so this will strictly be a special occasion event for us. Kudos to the fine piano player who was playing not your usual easy listening background songs yet not getting in the way of conversation, and adding to the pleasant ambiance.
Food & service good. Restaurant was physically cold, however. Turn on the heat!!!?
Every bite of food was delicious. The bread was so fresh, the appetizers were flavorful, the pasta also so fresh and homemadee, the steaks were amazing, the fries wErethe best! The desserts were really good, although not the highlight of an otherwise top-notch meal.
Went for dinner during Restaurant Week. Husband and I had delicious steak with bernaise sauce. Friend's piece of salmon was very small and although the plate's presentation was very pretty, the amount of food on it was tiny. The appetizer meatballs and tres leches cake were exquisite. Beautiful modern room. Friendly staff.
Dined here because of Restaurant Week, the food was fabulous! Loved the ceviche and the tagliatellini!
our lunch was very good. Service good. No problem I would go back there
Five star across the board, food, plating, service. All over the top. Stopped in for Restaurant Week ( be sure to make a reservation), and will be return in March again.
Moving forward, our top choice.
Fun new restaurant for us. Good food, great service. Nicely done!
