One of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in a very long time. Five of us ordered food that we all thought was very mediocre, e.g., the lobster truffle gnocchi had zero lobster flavor. The waitress did not remember to bring the macaroni and cheese side dish. She brought it out later and I sent it back because the noodles were not fully cooked. The coffee was served warm, not hot. The chocolate mousse cake was very dry. The donut with apple compote was meh. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
Lela is my favorite restaurant because it has delicious food, excellent service (thank you Adel!) and love the atmosphere. All the pasta for the dishes are made in house and all are wonderful. Difficult to decide which items to choose because all are appealing.

Server was awful. Had to ask someone else for flatware, refilled our bottomless mimosas only once because he was nowhere to be seen. It was fairly slow and he didn’t seem to be present on the floor at all. Disappointing!

Restaurant week menu. Delicious cerviche and meatball. Steak blue cheese pasta was super rich and wonderful. The steak was underwhelming to me. Over salted and I don’t like my meat Pre cut. (Personal preference) Fries were superb. Service attentive and friendly. Overall a great experience. It is a hotel restaurant and feels a bit like one.

Lela was a wonderful find from Restaurant Week. None of the three of us were familiar with the restaurant but decided to try it. We weren't disappointed. We had a wonderful server who helped us with questions and was friendly and attentive but not hovering. I had the steak and Frites from the set restaurant week menu and was not disappointed. The steak was prepared well and cooked to my desired medium-rare. The wine choice was nice and the tres leches cake for dessert was the perfect touch. Certainly a place I would recommend.

Brunch was a real disappointment and very expensive. No carving stations, just one salad, egg dish was tasteless, only two breads, sliced steak dish was black and dry, desserts were small and old. Only two good items, shrimp and fruit platter. Cost us $85 for two, would not go there again or recommend it to anyone else.

Very nice space. We ordered ceviche-good, beet salad-ricotta tasted like it was not covered properly and tasted a bit off, meatball-delicious, coulotte cut steak, seasonal veg. We enjoyed ceviche, waited approximately 45 minutes for the salad, which finally arrived with our entrees. Food was overcooked- steak and green beans. Sent back to kitchen, cooked better, but sauce for steak was separated and inedible. We waited for server to check back, but he was elsewhere in a nearly empty restaurant. We asked for our bill to be split and he returned with 2 checks- 1-bottle of wine 2-food. Both totalled the bill, but definitely not in half. He claimed that it was not possible to split it 50-50. BS. So, unfortunately we won’t be returning. There were too many things a miss.

I read a review about the Sunday brunch that was popular with kids, so we took 4 children.
Nice and clean spacious dining area with cool wine bottle accent. The waiter was nice to give kids plastic cups that wouldn't break.
We came after 1pm so they kindly told us we could stack up whatever we wanted before they cleared the brunch items at 2pm.
The brunch buffet was set up on a long high table--super high reaching my chest and I'm just over 5 ft tall, so it wasn't easy for me to get food nost of the time, especially toting 4 kids who couldn't even see the food unless they were standing 5 feet away or physically hoisted up.
I had to hold onto my plate and the kids plates carefully because there was absolutely no place to set down your plate while debating what to get from the crowded brunch buffet table.
I had been excited to try the seafood paella, but unfortunately it seems since we came in the afternoon, most of the food wasn't very fresh and dryly lacked some taste. Didn't get a chance for any omelets due to time constraints and seemed to be no one manning that station.
Overall the waffles and pancakes with optional whipped cream and fruit tasted best--but quite sad to have spent 30$ per adult &12$per kids just for some waffles and pancakes... you can decide your own money's worth.

Was really looking forward to Lela based on reviews and the crab claws but was left pretty disappointed. Right off the bat the waitress was very pushy about us both getting bottomless mimosas/bloody Mary’s. She asked several times throughout the dining experience. The hot food selection was smaller than I expected and difficult to reach the food located in the back do to the counter height. The worst part was the crab claws were old, fishy and no melted butter.

Good experience. However, Our server was wearing too much cologne. I had to wait for it to dissipate before eating my food each time he passed or all I could taste was him.

Attentive service. Expensive. The ceviche came as a disappointingly small portion for 2 of us to share.
Everything is an add-on. Wide open space and a pleasant atmospheric contrast to the old Hotel Sofitel Chez Colette space. Again, was way more expensive than we planned vs. the value. I mean really...$7.00 for a side of fries to go with the already pricey $39 6 oz. petit filet?

The meal met the standard I’ve come to expect. I submit, however, that two regular bartenders, mayhap three, would be a better staffing choice than one exceptional individual and two ‘fill-ins’ on a Friday night.

I had brought my husband here to celebrate his birthday and ess excited that the wine list won an award from wine spectator. However, the entire experience was disappointing.
- The waitress was a smoker, so the smoke smell when she came to the table would linger.
- The sommelier didnt seem to have a grasp of the wine list and was not as helpful as we would have expected t pi describe the wines on offer.
- The restaurant was near empty, which didnt help the ambiance.
- The cheese course came with several pieces of moldy cheese - not the good crunchy crystals that are in aged herd cheeses, it was the furry kind that should have bee caught and cut off.
- The only highlight was that we enjoyed the lobster deviled eggs.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience for what I was hoping would be a special night.

Has a wonderful time at Lela for a Sunday brunch. It is my second time for brunch and it was wonderful onc again. The service was terrific, and the food delicious. Brought my friend and she was impressed as well :)

We went there for brunch because I saw they had paella and bottomless bubbles. It was a beautiful spread to choose from. Lovely and bright atmosphere and good service as well. I will be back.
