We were delighted that the music didn't drown out our conversation. I would have liked something more on the menu besides kabobs but this is what they do. They're very good.

Nice Middle East restaurant...very friendly and a great choice of Mid East starters. For the food we only gave four points, because a five for us means highest level, maybe second to none. If open table would do the rating scale more precisely...we would have given 4.5 for the food...

Incredible service and food! The owner and his staff are lovely people and accommodated a large group of my friends for a fun and memorable New Year’s Eve dinner. I would highly recommend as the food was all perfectly cooked and drinks were delivered quickly. Can’t wait to go back!

We were a party of six. This was all of our first visit to Leila. Great price fixed menu. Wonderful appetizers. Didn't love the desserts. The wait staff was extremely helpful. It is just a few locks from Dramaworks and a great choice for a pre-theatre dinner.

This was the first time I have been at Leilas. It was phenomenal! Both service & food were beyond my expectations. It's a bit expensive for our budget, but for special occasions, this is where we will go!

Everything was perfect until dinner was done. It took 20 minutes for someone to come and take plates away and even ask us if we wanted any dessert. It look like they all forgot us or we were in visible for about 20 minutes

Grest place, great value, great food. Shish Tawook, chicken on skewers is delicious, best I have had. Dinners come with rice or cous cous and grilled vegetables. Plentiful portions, attentive servers, great value in summer dinners. Appetizers were good also - try the falafel and the hummus. Surprise music and belly dancing. We will return!

Horrible service! Had Hummus Bi Lahmeh and Muhammara to start, both of these items were to accompany the bread. We waited with no drinks in between courses, and then ran out of bread making our mezza go to waste as they never refreshed it after we asked for more. The lamb was our entree, it was not a rack of lamb but a half rack. It wasn't cooked to what we asked but was still good. The service was poor, no one checked on us to even ask how the lamb was. I would not recommend or go back.

3rd time we have dined here and all have been great.
Note: If you park in the convenient parking lot across the street, be aware of the time. We paid for two hours, which was enough for our meal, but our friends invited us to have a drink at Bradley's after we left the restaurant. We walked there and I forgot about the time. When we returned, we found our car was immobilized (booted). It cost us some time, an additional $65 and ruined an otherwise great evening. Our friends parked on the street and left with no issues. They still don't know we were there for another half hour. I would understand a ticket, but $65 and booting my car when we HAD paid, just not for long enough, was excessive. Not the restaurant's fault.

We have dined at Leila a few times. It is very convenient to Clematis Street, and to shows at DramaWorks Theater. We were there on a Fri eve at 6 pm. Prixe fixe dinner at $24.99 (for theater goers---maybe for summer also) is excellent value! First we had had appetizers---zuchini in pomegranate sauce, little fried pockets of cheese and mint, roasted red pepper spread, tabouli salad. Lots of fresh hot pita also. Portions were large and so very tasty! Main courses were varied----chicken shish kabob, beef shish kabob, beef schwarma, etc. All came with nice portion of cous cous (with raisins, nuts and bits of other veggies) or rice, and nice portion of roasted veggies. They were all very fresh, very flavorful, very delicious! Dessert was baklava. Tasted absolutely homemade, (not commercialized, not too much overly sweet honey) just absolutely fabulous! They even have a belly-dancer later in the evening! We will continue to go there and do recommend it!
