The waitress was an extremely nice student. The service was slow-paced, but it was there. It’s the Notre Dame version of an Applebee’s style sports bar, and it’s right next to the stadium. Pretty cool! It was over $70 for two of us with an appetizer and a couple beers. The King of the Campus steak was good and prepared perfectly.

Service was slow, but the food was very good. I had the tilapia dinner w/ veggies and it was very good.

Our Legends experience was excellent from beginning to end: making reservations, easy parking, friendly and professional service and excellent food.

Came in for dinner before the ND hockey game. Had a relaxing time with drinks, appetizer and delicious meal. Didn't feel rushed to move us along and the waitress was very tenditive to our needs. Will be back again soon.

Food was awful lake perch tasted old . It was like fish came battered in a bag frozen .

You go to Legends for the convenience of being on campus and eating before a game. I realize that they will be opening the new location shortly so not much attention is paid to the current decor, carpet, food or servers. Hopefully the new space will be better. As my husband said you come for the appetizers.

The service was adequate but when requesting an additional beverage the waiter forgot. Seemed rather stretched by lack of waiters.

I love Legends, my son is a student at Notre Dame and we have had a tradition of lunch at Legends with his friends each time I visit. It stared because it was easy for them to walk to on campus and continued because of the great food , service and atmosphere!

1st time to ND and had to try out Legends.
My son loved the peanut butter burger.
My fish tacos were very fresh and tasty.

The reservations were handled very well, and the appetizers came very quickly and were a goodly amount for the price. One of the three entrees was sent back to be warmed, as it was not hot. It was a bit warmer when returned.

The service was the worst I have ever experienced. We were seated on time for our reservation. Waited 10 minutes before a waitress arrived. Took a long time to get our drinks. Food was ok except was not brought until we were about ready to leave and one of our group (4) never got his side with his order and requested ketchup twice and never got it. Took a long time to get waitress for a second round of drinks. Place was busy before a bb game so I would say maybe not enough help for the crowd. I have eaten there once before with no service problem but as food is just ok and after this experience will probably not return.

Be careful if you try to go before a basketball game. Had 6:15 reservation, did not get seated until 6:40. Did not see a waitress before 6:55 and finally got food at 7:35. Had to eat fast to make it to game on time.

We thoroughly enjoy lunching at Legends before the woman’s basketball games with friends. We always order the Irish nachos appetizer to share. There are never any complaints about the food...good food, prices & portions. During our last visit the hostess was very accommodating by seating us at a table when the group preferred it to a booth.

Pre-theater dinner with a friend. Told waiter we'd need our checks early. He was very attentive.
Enjoyed a salad with a great variety of greens. Attractive presentation of my grilled chicken breast cooked to perfection. My friend loved her steak, which she has ordered before. We both had enough for left-overs.

2nd visit. 1st was excellent. Waitress was not good. Green beans were not steamed adequately. Hardly any mashed potatoes with the beef short ribs. However loved the salmon. Wish it had been wild caught tho.

Love Legends usually but on this visit to celebrate my birthday, the food was horrible. The burger came out raw, and when I sent it back, they basically burned it and I could only eat certain parts of it. I was disappointed because there were a group of friends I had meet me there and I told them how great the food was, then this happened. :(
I will give them another try in the future, but not with a group of people.

We love the location and the atmosphere of Legends. It is especially handy for attending athletic games or theater on campus. We have never been impressed by the food and this last visit was even more disappointing. All three meals were sub par. Sad

Service was poor - waitress said she would bring drink refills, but never did. Three of our group of eight ordered burgers cooked medium and they were all dry. Two were supposed to have a whiskey sauce, but we ended up having to put ketchup on them. It was our first time eating here, and we were excited to eat on campus before an ND basketball game. We won't go back.

I always enjoy Legends. The food is good. The wait staff is always happy (sometimes very busy). The atmosphere is ND happy. It is fun to see the sports on the TV. It has a busy atmosphere, but you are still able to talk with friends. Good for reservations, but also good to drop in. Come if you are hungry. Sometimes the lettuce is wilted. Time to update the menu for those who visit often, but a lot of good choices for those who have just discovered this restaurant (maybe add an Italian entree and sandwich).

We ate there after attending a performance at the Morris Civic . We were seated promptly, given time to read the menu and the food arrived in a timely manner. Food and service was good. It was the first time we visited Legends but it will not be the last.
It was also the first time I used Open Table...convenient amd easy to use.
