Inspired by the birthplace of the original Parisian brasseries along the Left Bank of the Seine River, Left Bank Brasserie is an authentic Parisian-style brasserie by Chef Roland Passot. Left Bank pays homage to the joie
de vivre that is synonymous with the Left Bank neighborhood in Paris. Guests are invited to step into
French culture, in a vibrant, social atmosphere that captures all the charm of traditional brasseries
and iconic alfresco dining of France. An all-day menu features authentic French cuisine utilizing
seasonal, local and organic ingredients, and consists of iconic lighter fare such as oysters, tartare and

We ate there on Friday evening and sat outside as the weather was great. We were promptly seated. When they delivered the main course they only delivered my husband’s. They messed up with my order. So they eventually came and took my husband’s entree back to keep it warm. Once we finally got our entrees I had the roasted chicken on a bed of mash potatoes. It was ok but not spectacular like it used to be. Quality of food and presentation has declined.

Our most recent experience at Left Bank was excellent. In a prior review I expressed my concerns with several changes that had been made post-COVID in the menu offerings, in the pricing and even in service that didn't meet the high expectations we'd developed after many visits over the years. I'm pleased to report that our experience last night was wonderful across the board. Menu options (like skirt steak) have returned and are as good as ever. Everything we had was delicious, and the service was great. I want to thank the manager, Juan, and also recognize the staff for taking very good care of us. Those who had been regular customers in years past will notice the improvements. For those who haven't tried Left Bank I give it my unqualified recommendation.

The food was not very good. We had two fish meals and both were severely overcooked. For the price, I'd expect much better food. The French onion soup was good, but not amazing. This restaurant used to have great food, but this was not the case on our last visit.

Food was definitely hit and miss . . . My cassoulet was a soupy version with no duck. Their green salad used to be almost a whole head of butter lettuce, but now a small bowl of chopped lettuce under dressed. Seems their portions have all been down sized and I observed that their hamburger was a popular item being served to many . . . not what I would expect from a French bistro (speaks volumes about who they have become).

Our food was cold. We sent it back but for one of us it was still not hot as it should. Terrible won’t ever go there again and we have been there several times before. Too many other choices to be subjected to cold food.

Hostess interaction needs some fine tuning. She helped customers that had arrived after us, with no reservations, while we waited for somebody else to assist us with our reservation.
