No other French restaurant in Vail has such an extensive menu. The Foie Gras is great and the best dish is the Veal chop with Foie Gras.

The portions are generous so we didn't have room for desert.

The Veal Chop with foire gras was sensational!! I was disappointed with the shrimp lobster puff (fish was overcooked which was unusual) but they comped our dessert so that made up for it. Lemon soufflé is always my favorite!! Thank you so much. Everything else was most fine as usual. We will be back for the Veal chop with the foire gras!!!

The staff takes care to serve the best quality food dishes-both in ingredients and recipes. The service is excellent; the restaurant even uses only completely clean and sparkling glass.ware I ate in the bar-which was enchanting with the changing colored lights behind the liquor and glasses, and received top notch service. One of the best restaurants anywhere. I travel to Vail just to eat here.

Four of us had a great dinner. All chose fish or seafood dishes. A request for gluten-free was beautifully handled. Choices included trout, halibut and lobster. A peach tarte and a chocolate soufflé were shared desserts that put a fine ending on a fine meal.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Vail as a someone who frequents the Vail valley. This restaurant has the highest level of consistency over the last 20 plus years! The food is always impeccable and the service is outstanding! I highly recommend left bank to anyone visiting. It’s a local hot spot!

My daughter is a passionate Vegan. We called ahead to make sure the chef was aware. When we arrived there were some nice choices available for her.
The sommelier was engaging and knowledgable.
Food and service were excellent.
Music choices were questionable.
Overall excellent experience, though.

I found Left Bank totally overrated and the price-quality ratio was not good. The service was OK but not very quick. Te interior looks like from a Star Trek movie and could use some updating.

Superb! Left Bank is the best restaurant in Vail. We never miss an opportunity to eat there when in town. Delicious French cuisine with something for any palate (even people who say they don't like French cuisine. ) These guys - the kitchen and the experienced wait staff have been serving Vail for years. They know how to handle a rush. They deliver delicious quality food in a very timely manner no matter how full the restaurant. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.

The superlatives to be used for this dining experience are so prolific I fear that they border on redundancy. Everything about the magical evening was tremendous. From the moment we walked in, the attention and care taken with us was beyond remarkable for a restaurant that has been turning out exemplary dinners and experiences for decades.

Starting with the table we sat which was somewhat in the corner, yet comfortable. We had begun perusing the dinner menu when Brian (the host) came to us to offer a more premium view of the garden and ice sculpture from a table just vacated by another party. He made up the table himself and had us move where he felt, correctly, that we may have an even better experience. He did this without any complaint or prompting from us.

Then, Peter the sommelier listened to our thoughts about wine and gave us friendly, helpful suggestions that, at a fair price, was much better suited for our meal and was in itself a gift for the night.

As for Elia, our guide for the evening, he waded though our myriad questions answering each with depth and discussion that assisted making the difficult decision of what food to order more of an adventure. He spoke of the preparation, of the chef, of the story behind why certain dishes were discontinued and brought back as specials when appropriate. The care for his guests was warm and inviting. Almost like he was a family member wanting to ensure his relatives enjoyed their meal.

And then came the food. Start to finish, it was by far our best dining in Vail. From the pasta with winter truffle butter sauce as an appetizer to the Bouillabaisse and Dover Sole, the presentation and taste was by far the best I have ever experienced.

Moving on to dessert, we had the soufflé in two different configurations and the pear tarte. The crust on the tart was beyond heavenly, a true tribute to French pastry. And, the soufflé was excellent as it was. But, the chef did not like the way the soufflé came out so,

As usual, it was an excellent evening at our favorite VAIL restaurant. Lamb, trout, halibut special, all were superb! Love the salad and cookies at the end. Even provided gluten free bread, upon request. Happy they serve my favorite champagne. All around wonderful experience for us and our guests! Left Bank never disappoints!! A tradition in our family since 1971, we always dine here for our last night every ski season. TLB never disappoints. Classic French cuisine beautifully prepared and presented. Highly recommend the lobster bisque, the veal chop, and the lemon soufflé with Grand Marnier sauce!

We went on vacation for seven days to Vail Colorado skiing, we decided to visit Left Bank to celebrate our 40th Valentines dinner. We been married for 35 years and dated for 5, never missed a GREAT dinner with my queen. At the age of 55 we are Still in love as if it was the first day.
The food was amazing, wine list is 10 sheets large, average bottle of wine is $150.00 up, we had a beautiful bottle of 2017 Le Corton. Lobster and caviar. Just a great dinning experience. Andy helped me choose the wine and the attention around the table was 100%. Our waitress was a doll, very educated and never skipped a beat. Don with caviar and wine with dinner. PERFECT.

Being locals, It’s not often that we treat ourselves to a really nice dinner in one of Vail’s restaurants; let alone trying French cuisine for the first time...but I’m really glad we came into Leftbank.
The culinary experience was beyond what I imagined, we loved every bite and every spoon of that delicious chocolate soufflé.
Thank you for making our evening special and allowing people like us to act like tourists for a night.
What an amazing evening!
Our sincerest compliments to the chef— and the pastry chef for the outstanding presentation and taste of every dish that came out of that kitchen!

We had an excellent dinner, and good service. But had a very annoying start to the evening. Immediately upon being seated my wife and I were served a glass of champagne, which we had not ordered. This is a nice touch, we thought, and we started sipping the champagne. A few minutes later someone dashed over, grapped the I/3 finished champagne flutes and said "sorry, wrong table"'. WTF?

The food was outstanding but the order got messed up and it took entirely too long to get our dessert. For an upscale restaurant like this that should never happen. With so many outstanding restaurants in Vail, I probably will not go back to Left Bank.

Food was good however service and attention to our table was average...at this price it should be superior. Other very close restaurant options that offer same level of food for less of a price....disappointed in Left Bank value for your money is not there.
