Our Salles De Amis is a beautiful private mezzanine. You can choose to overlook the main dining room from the balcony, or enclose the room completely with our lush velvet curtains. The sunny yellow walls, warm mahogany accents and vividly colored French posters make this the perfect setting for your occasion. Set up however you wish, the room is large enough for a party of 60, yet intimate enough for a smaller group of 10 or 20. Have a much larger group? We are happy to close the entire restaurant. It pains me to write this review as I really do love coming here. It’s been a reliable standard go-to for social and work dinners. Service was terrible. I only saw 2 servers so I’m sure they were short but regardless - it made for an unpleasant experience. Ordering was delayed, getting beverages was delayed which led to a delayed dinner and them pretty much telling us we had to leave since they were closing. They had no decent wineglasses. We are wine-centric folks and this was seriously some of the worst showing for wine glasses I’ve seen in the Bay Area. Food was mediocre but at least the fries are still good.

Wonderful place to celebrate a birthday brunch/lunch. Every entree was perfection and the desserts were equally amazingly delicious. The restaurant was decorated for Bastille Day which added a festive touch.

Disappointing experience - duck confit was not crispy at all.. lobster roll didn't have much flavor and the bread was not brioche or toasted nicely... With the same price range, better to enjoy lobster roll at RH or Pacific Catch.

We were craving French cuisine for a family dinner. We found Left Bank in Menlo Park and have been wanting to go there again. Easy to make reservations. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Wonderful atmosphere with tall ceilings and great setup. We got to sit in a nice booth. Steak frite was great as was the bouillabaisse. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended. Will be back!

Horrible customer service. Came in and had a nice dinner. Ordered some to go food. Got home and the food completely wrong. Drove all the way back to the restaurant and was questioned (had to show receipt, food , etc like not telling the truth) had just left 10 minutes before. Finally refunded on credit card. No apologies, no ask to make it right, nothing. Horrible customer service and will not return here in the future.

We were a part of of 5 who went to the Left Bank for lunch on a weekday. This is a beautiful restaurant with excellent staff. Unfortunately, the food does not match the decor or the service. It is not enjoyable to consume rubbery lobster whose seasoning is suggestive of sea water. Nor were any of the other dishes at our table up to par. It's disappointing. The prices are high enough that the restaurant should be able to afford high quality ingredients and cooking lessons. In fact, the restaurant used to be better. I very much hope it returns to its earlier glory!

This was the worst lobster roll and duck confit we’ve ever had. I didn’t expect it to actually taste like authentic French food but I did expect it to have flavor and no lobster shell pieces in the tasteless sandwich. The ambience was decent but I could have made a better meal without a recipe.
