   We had brunch with friends for my birthday. Everything was excellent, we always love dining here.

   So sad to see this classic Institution in a bad light. Everything, YES Everything, was cold that was supposed to be hot. Lobster Benedict, Prime Rib Sandwich, Cappuccino, all COLD. Hot food Hot Cold food Cold, right? Then they had a special Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp that was ridiculous. They did not Bake a Crisp, they poured room temperature Strawberry Rhubarb purée into a dish and then sprinkled some granular topping that was like instant coffee on top with a cold scoop of Vanilla Gelato. This was ridiculous and I just sent it back and had my cold cappuccino. I will not be back. So upset. Bathroom had a hugely overflowing garbage can of used Paper Towels. Close this place down

   The service we received as a 2 top on Mother’s Day was awful. Despite being one of the first seatings of the morning and the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, it took our server over 10 minutes to even acknowledge us. I began to wonder if anyone had informed her that we were sitting there. Every step after that took forever, and our server only checked on us once the entire time. When we had finished our meal we sat at the table with our empty plates for 15 minutes before I finally had to ask someone to send the server around. To wrap it up, our check was wrong and had to be corrected. The server dropped the corrected check and ran off, not bothering to make sure it was all ok. At that time I realized we were being charged for a drink we never received but by this point I didn’t want to wait any longer and I simply paid the bill and left as quickly as possible. Not how I would have liked to spend Mother’s Day morning. Lastly, the food was only ok, which combined with the service made the overall experience frustrating and disappointing. We probably won’t be returning anytime soon.

   We loved the petrale sole. Buttery and lemony. Also the cherry claflouti made us feel like we were in France. We really like the wine list,too. Finally we love how Left Bank is great for every day nights out as well as special celebrations. Thank you!

   Surly, inattentive, unprofessional wait staff. They seem to be overwhelmed even when restaurant is fairly empty. This Left Bank has deteriorated from years past. A true shame.

   Taylor was a wonderful server who was attentive to our needs without being overbearing or distant. You are lucky to have him on your team. Food was standard for Left Bank Larkspur with the exception of the Niçoise. It used to be so composed and full of fresh vegetable but fell flat for the $31 price point and not what it used to be. Too many salad greens and not enough of the typical vegetables it is comprised of. Otherwise, a wonderful time spent with friends over a nice meal. Thank you!

   Always a wonderful dining experience! Sophia, the hostess, is as gracious as she is beautiful! My grandson loves the escargot, and the warm crusty French bread. I ordered the steak tartare and it is fabulous! It is so nice to have this amazing French Bistro just down the street from my grandson’s school. It makes it so easy to pop in for lunch on Wednesday’s half day school schedule! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   We made reservations to celebrate my wife's 54th birthday and decided to sit at the bar. Resa, the bartender, was welcoming and we met other "regulars" who were friendly, engaging and even treated us to a celebratory round of cocktails. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be coming back!

    We love this place! Think French Bistro with California influences. The service is friendly and professional. Small wine list, just like a French Bistro, but they also have a full bar so, plenty of choices. The non-alcoholic choices are enticing, as well.
