Our waiter was exceptionally rude. We had arrived and there was a confusion with our order. The waiter accused us of not ordering properly and he looked like he was about to attack us in a very aggressive way and wouldn’t let the mistake go. We have to walk out and didn’t even have a drink or food. The staff was really rude, they were watching this waiter embarrass us and making comments on how they will have the drinks later when we leave. It was our first time and such a terrible experience. Will never return.
The food is great but service SUCKS!!!!
My reservation was at 10:15pm and they told me before hand that all the customer has to leave before 12am due to the new law compliance of covid which I understand. Once I was seated, the server came rush me ordering food. I said I need more time cuz it’s my first time there. He came over twice and kept rushing me and told me I only have 15mins left to order food!! It wasn’t even 10:30pm yet!!! Then I just order whatever I saw instead of going through the menu. I was still looking at the drink menu but he took it away!
I couldn’t enjoy the food at all so I decided to talk to the manager. They did apologize and said they will serve us a dessert on the house and asked me to come back next time when they will ensure I will he treated well.
Ended up they gave me a piece of peanut bar a size of my thumb as a “dessert”. If they cannot accommodate late customer then don’t even let me in! I wasn’t there for fast food at a price of $150 for two! It is ridiculous. They don’t even say bye to us when we left. This place is terrible!!! How funny they said they will make it right the next time when I don’t even wanna go back.
Amazing food. I can’t say enough. Every bite is so good
Very accommodating to our special request. Food & service was excellent...would definitely recommend and repeat !
Everything we ordered was mouth watering from start to end. The only issue we had was eating the braised beef at the of our meal was a struggle. But overall, I’d recommend any day.
The food and service were amzing.... As always
delicious, great service, innovative dishes. the patio is great!
The food was great, a little overpriced for some of their appetizers. They’re good, but not worth $19 for 8pc of dumplings. Or $19 for 2 spring rolls.
We also felt rushed, the waitstaff was taking away our plates and plate of food before we even finished... which we didn’t like. We understand they’re trying to clear tables as fast as possible for new diners, but we booked a reservation for a reason!
Amazing experience , great food , glad i went there for our 5 year wedding anniversary
In Toronto so met my son and his girlfriend for dinner. The food is outstanding but a bit pricey. I felt very safe though, dining on the patio. It is a wonderful place for a special meal, trying different combinations of food. The waiter warned us we had ordered too much but it’s always nice to take some things home,
Very friend and efficient service. The food was excellent with good portions. It's pricey but worth every penny. With COVID the tables are nicely spaced apart and if you want to eat inside, they've put up plexiglass dividers between the tables.
Incredible food and drink, shareable, excellent service, reasonably priced and worth the money for what you get, clean and covid cautious
We loved everything about our dining experience at Lee’s! The service was amazing, the food was over the top delicious, the extended patio was cozy and fun! We’re definitely coming back again soon!!!
Excellent food and service. Accommodating of allergies. Would highly recommend the slaw, cod, and beef. Will be back!
The food is definitely good, but I’d honestly avoid the appetizers because they pale in comparison to the entrées, in terms of both quality and quantity. The menu is definitely unique in a positive way; the flavour combinations were like nothing I’ve ever experienced, and the presentation was phenomenal, so they get an A+ for that aspect. The restaurant was fairly pretty, but honestly the music was pretty horrendous to the point that it was almost amusing. It killed the ambience a little bit. The wait staff was courteous, but honestly I think because we were a tad underdressed they didn’t really expect us to tip them much (which we did) and treated us accordingly. They weren’t particularly responsive or thorough about my questions about the food, which, at that price point, I don’t believe is too much to ask.
I’d recommend this restaurant, but stay away from the appetizers.
Souper en amoureux au début de nos vacances avec des mets qui sortent de l’ordinaire. Très goûteux et différent d’une cuisine asiatique traditionnelle.
Nous y retournerons
Signature Slaw, Asian braised beef, cheese burger spring rolls
Great presentation of food, overpriced but paying for location. Wine overpriced as well.
Enjoyed our meal.
It’s ALWAYS amazing at Lee’s. You can pretty much pick anything on the menu and know it will be delicious.
It’s a restaurant with an actual chef and all the food is carefully chosen and paired with ingredients to his perfection.
If you’re looking for an orgasmic restaurant look no further!
Service was horrible, bought a bottle of wine and had to grab it out of the ice bucket to pour it myself after an hour of watching waiters walk past and fail to notice my empty glass... the cherry on the top was finding a long piece of hair in my spring roll. I was disgusted and my night was ruined. For a restaurant that has a Michelin star chef and is $$$$$ I would expect more.....
Made a reservation for dinner and were seated promptly upon arrival. Server was polite and attentive. Mr. Lee greeted us at our table and recommended one of the specials which turned out to be great. A pleasant experience overall.
We booked specifically for ceviche tasting 2 weeks in advance. When we arrived were told it was over. We had friends that came from Burlington. Manager spoke to Chef Lee and he personally prepared 3 types of ceviche for our group of 6. Everything we ordered was so delicious it was ridiculous. One of the best restaurants in our beautiful city.
Overall we had great time at Lee! Catchy and cozy design not too busy with a lot of details. Food is absolutely awesome - we had Duck confit served in a new way, made it more comfortable to eat, seafood pad thai and Singapore slaw salad. Were not sure about the last one, but didn’t regret we ordered it! Loved it! There’s smth unique about the dressing and the way components are chopped😍
Didn’t like that much that we had a lot of staff around us all the time, felt a bit like being in the market - too busy 😅 That’s the only flaw we noticed))
Fantastic night. Even with the weather a bit chill, the heat lamps helped. Food was phenomenal.
It was wonderful and enjoyable as always. The server was polite but a little impersonal and pushy- she knew the menu well and made suggestions- I feel bad to mention this, but she did have quite strong body odour which was difficult to ignore. I know she was working hard, but as someone employed by a restaurant like Lee, this is something she perhaps should be more aware of. The service, however, was prompt and we did not wait at all for food or drinks. We love Lee and will of course return, but the server did impact this particular visit. Her name was Sam.
The new plexiglass barriers need to be opaque, so light can get through but you don't feel like you are spying on your neighbours. We felt like we were in a fish bowl until the kind staff moved us! The food was spectacular and the service was top notch. It was a great way to spend our 10th anniversary.
Excellent food and service, their speciality slaw and sangria is a must!
I have been coming here since it was Susur and I am never disappointed. The staff are well trained and efficient. A the food is spectacular. The cocktails delicious. You can’t go wrong here.
We had the Singapore Slaw and the spring rolls. Wonderful!!
Would love if you had more plant-based and vegetarian options.
Delicious, unique food experience with lovely, knowledgeable and dedicated staff. All in all great experience.
Starting with the good, the food was delicious. Other than the mains, the rest of our experience was par if not sub par. The service staff were very confused bring us drinks and apps that were intended for other tables. Later on a server brought over silver ware and placed it in a manner that showed he wasn't concerned about covid 19 at all. There was a server walking around trying to sell sangria like it was a flee market. The washrooms had sticky floors and were average at best. I would not recommend Lee to my friends or family. It's disappointing because Lee used to be a favorite of mine and now is an average king street rest
Great flavours and service, a bit pricey for the overall bill.
Great first experience, would go back with friends.
Everything about Lee is superb! From their signature slaw to the friendly staff and efficient dining experience... Lee has become our go to date night
First time at Lee...next level delicious and service! I highly recommend and can’t wait to try more menu items!
Went to this restaurant one year ago in June 2019 to celebrate my wife's B-day and even before dinner was over we promised to return again to celebrate her next B-day however due to Covid this could not happen. We bokked this past weekend as it was our Anniversary and had yet another amazing night at Lee's....from the incredible Sangria shortly after we were seated to the brilliant Ceviche Tour to finally the signature Slaw dish---Cant wait until next time!
the food is incredible. great for sharing. the braised beef was so soft it felt like eating a cloud
Overpriced with average food experience.
Slaw to start was amazing and that was the highlight and peak of the experience
After that it was just down hill
Dumplings were good
Pad Thai was below par and lacked flavour
Vegetable spring rolls were oily and inedible
At least they removed from the bill
Deserts were ok at best
Pretty good spot. Slaw was good, and the server was great
I appreciate the need for spacing, and am very happy Lee’s complies... however it is getting colder in the evenings and there are not enough heaters . We were upwind if the only heater at our end of the patio bad it was very cold!
The service and food was excellent though, so we were very happy to be there.
