Owner operated, our desire is to always be on hand to serve you simple, well-prepared food.
Excellent first visit. Service was attentive. Meal was delicious, timed well, & served hot. Wine selection was good and prices very fair. Very fun to watch cook staff while dining. Highly recommend.
My daughter and Son in law, Seattle residents, love Lecosho. It’s always a top spot for family visiting from Philadelphia! Had dinner last Wednesday...my last evening before heading home. So perfect and took the edge off of the departure
Lecosho os one of my “go to” restaurants. The food is always reliably excellent and the staff is wonderful. Shout outs to Carey and Jennifer-they are the best!
Beautiful decor and lovely service but food was only mediocre, especially in terms of the price point.
One of us ordered the salmon. The portion was very small; other dishes were, as usual, fine
Yummy food, fun atmosphere.
Service was exceptional. The Rhinestone Cowboy drink was so good I had 3!
Keri, our server, was a real enhancement to the whole experience... just delightful. Our appetizers, main courses, and deserts were all excellent with the wild boar & beef ragu and the porkchop as notable standouts. The octopus fried rice was also excellent. Everyone in our party are seasoned foodies and travelers, all were impressed by Lecosho. We felt the bill for all that we ordered was quite reasonable.
They also went above and beyond by tracking me down through OpenTable to notify me that they had found a special earring my friend had lost there that night. How great is that?!
Great place, becoming better each visit! This experience included the usual and thoughtfully prepared wild boar ragu along with the tenderest of pork chops. But what set this experience apart was our amazing server. We ordered a Washington State Syrah (WT Winters) that was just “ehh” —not great. Our server, without hesitation, without ‘checking with the som’ took the bottle and suggested another wine, the Avenia, that was outstanding. Lecosho is becoming our new go-to favorite.
One of the best restaurants in Seattle.
I am in town for work and I like to try out a new place on Sunday nights. This time around I made a reservation and took the short walk from my hotel over to the restaurant. The place was quite lively for a Sunday night but I was seated right away against one of the large windows which was nice. While the menu is small it is sophisticated. I decided on the wild boar and beef ragu with pasta. I can say it was an excellent dish and the portion size was just right. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the dish wasn't drowning in the ragu. My server was friendly and the price wasn't bad at all considering the care that went into making my dish. I had a wonderful experience and I would certainly recommend this place.
We decided to try the restaurant on a Saturday night without a reservation. The host was so great and he found a table for us. The food was quite good and the restaurant was very busy and lively. All in all a wonderful dining experience.
The food is amazing. The flavors fit really well together. Our waitress was great and really made the experience for us. I would definitely recommend this place.
We had an early evening reservation for 4 recently on a Saturday. The two people joining us are very special people to us and so wanted to make sure that we had no less than a pleasant experience and not only were we all together hosted beautifully, the food and service went above and beyond our expectations. To the point that our guests who had never been before are still talking about it. I had the ragou, our guests had the steak and chicken and my husband had the pork chop and all the dishes were raved about.
If you are looking for a quiet yet memorable experience or even just a great cocktail, you'll find it here. Well done Jill and crew! Bon appetit! J&R Manning
Service is super! And love the cheese plate
Everything was pretty good! I went during the lunch hour so it was fairly loud & hard to have a conversation but that’s probably true of just about any place during that hour. Would definitely go again.
Every dish we tried was wonderful. Interesting flavors that were unusual but delicious. Great server who gave us a wonderful wine recommendation
Our server Kerri was amazing, with a great knowledge of the menu including the wine list. We shared the octopus fried rice, gem wedge salad, and the daily special duck confit. Except for the salad being somewhat overdressed, the food was excellent. Will definitely return!
Great food, great service. Lecosho treats me well every time!
Lecosho is a favorite of mine and my wife. I won't try to describe this last delicious meal there but will just say that we have never, ever been disappointed with any aspect of dining at Lecosho during our ten or so visits there over the last few years. Excellent food, excellent service, nice space. Lecosho is very, very consistent in the high quality of their food and service. Looking forward to returning.
My wife and I had been Lecosho several times for Happy Hour, but this was the first time we had been for dinner. It was amazing. We kind of go wild when we attack a new menu for the first time so we got 6 small plates/sides and split one entree (they make it very easy to split almost anything on the menu).
The real standout was the Spanish Octopus Fried Rice, which is hands down the best fried rice I've had in Seattle. I'd go back just for that. The smoked duck was also terrific.
Their menu changes often, so what is on their website is merely an example of what they serve, but so far everything we've had their has been wonderful.
Finally, of the four times we've been, the staff has always been extremely courteous and going above and beyond to be helpful in numerous ways. This has quickly moved into our top three favorite restaurants near the Market.
I've eaten here before. It's always good. On this one occasion, it was quite busy. I had taken my mom there for lunch. Our lunch entrees were taking a long time. Our server, Katie, apologized for the delay and indicated that lunch was on the house. We appreciated that the staff took care of us, acknowledged that we'd been waiting a while and still served delicious food. Thanks, Lecosho.
ALways an excellent menu and all the items were perfectly prepared andtasty. The servcie was prompt , polite and discreet.
Highly recommend. Great food and wine, quiet enough to have a conversation with your dinner companions, and knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Lecosho has a great atmosphere and good service. My fellow diners had heard the burger was good and ordered one to share, they were not disappointed. I ordered the seafood stew for $20. It consisted of 2 shrimp, one small piece of whitefish, 6-8 tiny clams, one sliced fingerling potato with small pieces of chorizo in a bland broth. It is very rare for me to walk away from a meal hungry, often I don't even finish. I am a big fan of fish stews and this was by far the most flavorless, fishless stew I have ever eaten at a restaurant. On the bright side, the fish was fresh. I would go again but definitely not order the same thing.
Overall was very good.
We love Lecosho and visit everyone we travel to Seattle. We book ahead !
We came back for the Mary’s chicken that has a delicious Mexican flavor we love.
Good food but not $100 dinner we just split a salad and each had a pasta and a glass of wine. I’ve done much better for 100 bucks. The sauce on my pasta was delicious but I think they were five pieces of it? Holy smokes how expensive is pasta?
I always recommend Lecosho to friends. My experience is always fabulous. The food has never been less than delicious. I still crave the pumpkin soup you once served, but am never disappointed with the newest selections during every visit. And we always, ALWAYS appreciate when asked if we will be attending a play or any event so they know we are on a schedule. Please keep up the great food and great service. I'l be back again. With friends in tow, as usual!
Great place for lunch! Their lunch menu is excellent!
Try the Spanish Octopus. It's so delicious!
Always a nice place to have a business meeting it quiet, there’s room and the food and service is always good.
Highly entertaining, very attentive server!
It was a wonderful meal!! The service was amazing and the food was yummy!!
New Year’s Eve dinner, early time to beat the crowd.
Food overall was good but heavy on salt. This is coming from someone who loves salt.
Smoked duck was definitely high on smoky flavor but pairing with Lardo made it too heavy/greasy; it needed something to lighten it up. Loved the wait staff recommendation for the pork chop and ragu pasta, both on regular menu. Staff may need to help diners chose their wines to pair with food, helps enhance the experience.
Fabulous! As always,
I’ve just about given up on downtown restaurants with their tourist prices, abysmal service and meh food. Lecosho was a pleasant surprise. We got a corner table — maybe because we bothered to reserve? Service was unobtrusive and thoughtful. The mushroom risotto was just a hair undercooked but not unpleasant. My guest, a picky eater, was happy with her scampi. I’ll be going back, for sure, especially if visiting out-of-towners want to meet up near SAM.
Great evening and close to symphony hall. Beet salad was amazing. Txs
Our first time at Lecosho and we enjoyed it but not enough to make it back on a regular basis. Had an outstanding fried rice/octopus appetizer. Bride had beet salad—she said it was nothing special. Her entrée was the mezalunas which she felt had an almost too sweet sauce. I had the boar and beef ragu which I found a bit dry but still good. Finished with their fresh Madeleines which took forever. So long that our server comped them. Place is REALLY noisy. So noisy we could no hear our server most of the night.
