Owner operated, our desire is to always be on hand to serve you simple, well-prepared food.
Another great lunch. Best crabcake sandwich EVER!
The staff is FANTASTIC! I've been there twice now and feel like Norm from Cheers! They are funny, attentive (not obtrusive), and have no problem giving advice on what fits your mood. The food is excellent as well. If you know anything about seafood - overcooking is the worst crime and it's what most restaurants do....but not these cooks. the scallops are PERFECT as is the rest of the food! Great place, great value, great people, and an all-around great experience.
Delicious food and great service in a lively setting
Recommended to us from bartender at Whiskey Bar, this did not disappoint! Great food and a fun, interesting location. You’ll be happy you went.
We love coming here before National Geographic Explorer and other events at Beneroya Hall. The food and service are always on point and we love the location. My wife and I share our top three menu items, and we pick two that we each have on our list and then share the meals. We always get to try a couple of amazing meals that way!
Great food - I go here quite a bit. Hats off... ..
We were seated at the back so it is quieter. Pork schnitzel sandwich was really yummy. Highly recommended.
Stephanie, Ian and crew rock!
Excellent variety of dishes and excellent preparations. I took advantage of happy hour - which was a MAJOR value - and was able to sample three dishes. I was stuffed and happy. Get the charcuterie plate and the short ribs!
I will be returning for many happy hours and dinners.
We chose Lecosho for an anniversary dinner. We got cocktails and an appetizer then wine with dinner. Everything was super tasty. My chestnut ravioli was our favorite. We had an amazing evening.
The food here is very carefully prepared. There is a great selection between small and large plates. Everything is locally sourced and thoughtfully made. The server was attentive. My only quibble was with the wine list which was short and very pricey. Too many twee bottles for local wine snobs, nothing for those who just want a decent ordinary bottle with dinner.
Nice space, and location, and vibe
ordered the house salad it was great. The mussels were not so good- very small mussels but the presentation was excellent. Would not order again. Scallops were incredible- a must have.
Exceptional, inspired offerings. Open, cheery atmosphere. Professional, friendly service. A bright gem perched above Harvor Steps with convenient SAM, Post Alley and waterfront access.
Food is consistently excellent. Their burger is one of the best in Seattle.
Always a great experience here.
Lecosho was a pleasant experience. The staff and service were great. Great place for a bite to eat before heading to Benaroya Hall.
The food was spectacular, our corner table quiet, and the wait staff attentive.
Great dinner after an afternoon concert. We all loved our food, pork chop & wild boar & beef ragu.
A great spot downtown by the museum and symphony and by Pike place market. A small menu but good options for everyone on the menu. Go for happy hour up to about 6pm in the bar as they have some good drinks for sure. A bit pricy for the portion but you might be paying for the location.
We joined friends for dinner the night of Santa-Con and the entertainment was still happening on the
Harbor Steps! Lots of fun...our waiter was great! Perfect cocktail suggestions and the food was delishious.
We will be back!
Great ambiance. Sat at the bar for dinner and service and food were great.
Our favorite restaurant in our neighborhood!
A great find on the Harbor Steps. Perfect for pre-show meal since it's close to Benaroya Hall. Interesting combination of foods and dishes. Can easily share dishes which is fun and can make for light eats or full meal. A little noisy so harder to hold a conversation across the table.
Delicious food, good service. Power went out, fortunately for us after we’d been served. My only complaint is that with the open kitchen it’s smokey and my clothes and hair smell after dining there (this has always been the case, not because the power was out).
Server was attentive at first then seemed to disappear. He came to 2 tables next to us a few times but turned and walked away without acknowledging us trying to flag him down. My friend’s pork chop was delicious but my $38 ribeye was thin, lukewarm and tasteless. They did take it off the bill and offer free dessert. Olive tapenade with the bread was very tasty. Don’t think I’ll go back.
A pretty cozy place in downtown Seattle with excellent food and services. The pork chop is a must try - so heavenly tender and flavorful, easily the best I've ever had.
I reserved a table at Lecosho before a show at Benaroya Hall. Really great food, ambiance, and pretty view out the windows. Versatile restaurant - great for casual meet up, or a nice dinner before a show.
Great location with excellent, creative food choices. Service was outstanding. We will definately return again.
Great staff, good food, excellent service. Had a 7pm concert and the staff made sure we were on time.
too loud; food is good not great; value for money not quite there.
I worked hard to select a restaurant for a lovely family dinner for folks visiting from out of town. My criteria were great ambience and food. I was disappointed in this selection and will not go back. There were some good aspects: food was solid, but not worth the sticker price, certainly not deserving of the moniker "good for foodies" as listed on open table. The staff was very gracious, the ambience in terms of lighting and wood accents and 'real furniture' in the age of ikea chairs was solid also and matched the pictures online that guided me to chose this location. However the overall experience was a fail. A number of tables including ours are located right next to the door (within feet) and it's winter. We were blasted with cold air all night, so uncomfortable. If you are going, specify that you want to be seated away from the door in the middle or back third of restaurant. My husband sat on a bench with an uncomfortable broken spring poking his backside, and the apps, entree desert arrived at a blistering pace. Way too fast for the price and purported quality. Dinner was over in an hour. The music was loud and thumpy, every person in our group commented on the awkward music volume and pace which is a rare occurrence. I had to yell to be heard by the other five people at the table. My father in law always insists on picking up the tab and I am embarrassed at what I led them to. I very rarely review anything but its days later and I still can't shake the embarrassment. Now that I read over my review I realize this: we were treated like tourists. I messed up by picking this place. I will add that I bet this restaurant is a big hit with the business lunch crowd and/or out of town guests from another city, where standards may be very different.
My daughter and I had a great experience at Lecosho before going to the theater. We were seated in a quiet corner with a nice view of the plaza. I ordered two small plates as my meal - the Penn Cove Mussels and the house green salad. The mussels were outstanding, loved the sauce. And the mustard cornichon vinaigrette dressing was perfect. My daughter had the scallops which were also tasty. Lecosho is in a great location downtown close to theaters with a short walk. Will definitely come back.
Lecosho never disappoints. On this visit, we stopped in before a show at Benaroya. Our lovely server was attentive, cocktails were delicious, and the small plate menu created a perfectly suited family style meal. We indulged in the beet salad, brussel sprouts (omg! really really good with ceasar dressing), squid fried rice, and the cheese board (have to try that Wisconsin Cow's cheese again). We didn't feel rushed and our server was cognizant of our departure time for the show.
Love this place! Great food, a little on the noisy side, but an excellent spot to dine. Ordered the scallops and the rib eye this time. Both were excellent but REALLY loved the scallops!
No one does pork better than Lecosho! This is where I come for a perfectly cooked, locally sourced, utterly delicious pork chop perfectly complimented with the right sides. Yes, there are things here for vegetarians but the star is that pork chop! Oh, and the service is consistently excellent too.
Went here for a business lunch and while the place was packed, the service was excellent and people got their food in a timely fashion. The food itself was also really good and everyone at my table really enjoyed their dishes. Definitely worth a visit if you like great food at reasonable (for Seattle) prices!
I'm obsessed with their octopus fried rice w/kim chi. I have never had a bad anything here. Always great, always good service.
Had reservations for a pre-symphony dinner at 6:30 pm. Due to Seattle traffic were running late and gave them a call. No problem. Arrived around 6:40 and they could not have been more accommodating. Signature cocktails (outstanding) as cheap as a glass of wine. Food exceeded expectations and desert good. Would definitely recommend.
Love this place, highly recommended. The pork chop was fantastic, the scallop was a bit salty.
