We had a great seat by the windows. We ordered a platter and several other small plates to share and the food was amazing! We ended our meal with the molten chocolate coffee cake (highly recommend!!).

Such kind and attentive employees! They were so helpful and explained things with suggestions and always a smile. The food was great and the Hummus Special was terrific! Of course the bread made it extra special.

Thank you Khaled for outstanding service and for taking such good care of us! The lamb fettah and the chicken kabob were both outstanding -so flavorful! When there was not a 2nd bottle available of the wine we were drinking, the restaurant kindly gave us a more expensive wine at the same price as our original choice. It was an fabulous, relaxed dinner experience!

After we moved, we had not been to this place for many years and returned recently for a birthday dinner. Great experience - was comforting to know that it's still the same place - great food at reasonable prices, cozy ambience and attentive service. A real neighborhood gem!

I have dined at Tavernas across the metro area and this particular Taverna location over the past 20 yrs. I have not experienced such lack in attention in the details as I have the last several times visited. Take out: the last few times that I have picked up my order I have had the incorrect order, or missing items from my order. Dine-in: this last recent visit that I dined-in, I received the wrong order. And, as another waiter, whom wasn't our original attempted to correct my order, I was served some microwaved-style chicken instead of Chicken Shawarma.

Outstanding hummus. Very good chicken Faras (deboned half chicken) served with roasted potatoes and grilled squash, tomatoes and onions, pickled onions. And a garlic paste to dip all, as a condiment! Very flavorful!

Dinner on the outdoor patio in the shade. Chef's platter was awesome as usual, as was the glass of red they served. Their IPA was sub-par, but they let me taste it before ordering, so I didn't.

Took our daughter there for her birthday dinner. There were five of us and we really enjoyed it. First time for my daughter and son-in-law at your restaurant. The chicken Shawarma continues to be a favorite. Appetizers were delicious as well. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. He surprised my daughter with some baklava with a birthday candle. We will be back.

Old restaurant, I asked for pinot Grigio and was given Chardonnay. This restaurant has not improved, I had the same bad experience 30 years ago. I am surprised they are still in business

Thank you so much for a nice experience, sitting outside and eating the delicious food. The server was great and sweet and even brought me a complementary birthday dessert! I had a great time with my best friend celebrating my late birthday . we will be sure to come back again.

We have been going to Lebanese Taverna in the DC area for decades. Something has changed - at least at Westover. The quality of the food has slipped. I might stick with the market rather than their sit down establishments based on my latest experience.

A noteworthy dining experience! Fahad, our server was reining Rahab and did an excellent job. He even had a Lebanese wine recommendation that perfectly suited the dining experience. The food was great making it a quaint delightful dinner date.

Ushered in seated without a welcome. Waiter seemed bored/disinterested. Ordered $17 mezza with three kinds of hummus. Only 3 slices of bread. Waiter forgot both entree orders. Entrees were decent but chicken was tough - not tender. More pita chips than you’d want. Hummus was very good, as was the bread. Waitress (not the one who took our order) poured an extra glass of water like it was an imposition. Neither the waiter nor the waitress smiled or said “you’re welcome”. Almost no eye contact. Lost the energy, menu and ambience of 10-15 years ago. Tipped generously given the experience. Post pandemic restaurant business is tough and good hires don’t want to stay if you can find them. Maybe consider for takeout only.

Valentine’s Day. They had a lovely three course meal for $55 per person, which is a very good value. The food was delicious and the portions very generous. We had two days of left overs. The staff was friendly and attentive. We often go here to celebrate special occasions.

We’ve been to the one in Tysons many times and always had a good experience. But this one was very different. We went to this location because we did not want to deal with Tysons traffic. My chicken dish was over cooked and I second the previous review that they were out of a lot of items. We had a reservation for 7:45 and by 8:45 they were vacuuming, while we were still eating!! And it wasn’t like we were taking a long time, most of us were done eating and my son was just finishing up his meal. Needless to say, a disappointing experience.

The pita is soft and warm from the oven. The main courses are good, but if you like sharing tapas or small plates, you'll find a lot to enjoy from the mezza menu. It's a terrific assortment. The mezza also make great appetizers to a main course, or 2-3 can make a meal.

It’s been more than 25 years since we last dined here and the restaurant hasn’t lost a step. Any neighborhood in America would be lucky to have a restaurant like this one. The mezza sampler was great for four to share and each of our individual main courses were outstanding, with the lamb fatteh being exceptionally good. We look forward to another visit when next we’re in the area.
