About Lebanese Taverna - Tysons Galleria
Lebanese Taverna creates an environment where good food is enjoyed in good company. Each restaurant is a "home away from home," even though the food and ambiance are from across the globe. Whether you are visiting for the first time, the twentieth, or have been coming to a Lebanese Taverna for over 35 years, you will feel welcomed and like a member of the family. The atmosphere is bustling and each of the restaurants has its own design and slightly different flavors. That is because the food is made fresh.

Lebanese Taverna - Tysons Galleria Ratings and Reviews
Went to New Year's Eve bash. Had a mostly great time, could stand a few minor improvements...
Music was really loud, too loud to hold a conversation. By the end of the night, the place was really festive and the loud music was more welcome. Would have preferred the music not be loud until, say 11:00pm.
Dinner started at 9:00. Food came out really slow. Waiter brought Salmon dish out at 11:30. But that time, we had already filled up and had to turn it down. Restaurant was generous with the food output. At the same time, the New Year's eve dinner didn't include dessert.
Waiter was really good. The other customer's were fun to watch. As I said, real festive at the end. Overall, we had a great time!
They brought the wrong appetizer for two times. My shawarma sandwich was very cold and dry my husband ‘s vegetarian dish Mehshi was oily and didn’t have tast at all. First they forgot to bring one of the dishes for my friend and finally when they brought it was lamb shawerma instead of chicken so they brought a chicken side dish as well . The nice thing was when complined about my food being cold they didn’t charge me for it. Over all i am not going back there.very disappointed
The food was fantastic, but the service was odd. When we asked for our check, the server said “No, I’ll bring it later when you’re finished.” We were finished and had somewhere to be, so it was very strange. The food is excellent, but this is the second time I’ve had very odd service at this location.
Let's start with I'm a huge fan of Lebanese Taverna, but not the Tyson's Corner location. Overall, the food and service are both measurably worse at this location than their other locations. We chose to go to the Tyson's location for a large family gathering because it was more convenient geographically and it was a mistake. We were in a back room, which seemed great because it was more private, but everything took forever. 3 hours into our meal, we'd eaten appetizers and entrees and had to flag a server down to get dessert menus (we ultimately passed on dessert because of the time). The dish I ordered, which is a favorite from their other locations, was cold and the sauce was clearly not fresh. I'm not generally a complainer, but it's stunning how different the quality is at Tysons vs. the Arlington locations.
Pros: Food is always excellent.
Cons: Extremely loud, very difficult to carry on a conversation without shouting.
Food was brought quickly, but our server literally stood over us while I was putting leftovers into the take home box and took the flatware out of my hand! There were NO customers waiting for a table, so I cannot understand why we were so rudely dismissed. We have patronized ALL of the Lebanese Taverna locations in the DC metro area over the past 30 years and have never been treated so poorly. We may have to rethink our restaurant choice.
This restaurant has wonderful food, but it is wa-a-ay too noisy. It needs some sound control. The tables are really close together and between the noise level and the close tables, it makes it hard to have a nice quiet rendez-vous. I have been there in the evening when we had to yell at each other to hear anything.
