Lebanese Taverna - Tysons Galleria

One of my favorite places in the whole world! ❤️
TOOOOOOOOO loud at lunchtime. Fast service. Good sampler platter.
Met a friend for lunch at the Tyson’s location. The place was very busy but we were seated promptly. I had the chicken fatteh and she had the eggplant fatteh. They were both outstanding! Service was very good. We look forward to returning.
Great food as always. It was quite busy that night but our service did not suffer and the food came out in a timely manner.
Great meal as always! All the food was hot and delicious and served quickly!
There was a family dining with a little child who screamed several times, but nobody employed at the restaurant did anything about it. I know this is a delicate matter but someone should have told that couple to take the little boy outside for a few minutes until he calms down
Outstanding service and first rate food
Lunch service was efficient and food perfectly prepared!
Why don’t I dine here more often?? From start to finish a simply excellent experience.
It was great! Endless hummus is delicious.
This is a great place with fantastic food, we enjoy this restaurant every time.
All around nice restaurant to eat before a show or other event.
Best kabobs and hummus - best hummous I've ever had
Excellent food and service as usual. It is best to make a reservation as they get quiet busy!
Spouse birthday dinner.
Reservations made for mid evening. Ten minute wait from time being seated to taking initial orders. Appetite ready for lamb but was told restaurant was out of lamb shank, at a Lebanese establishment.
The food was delicious!! Unfortunately we were seated where there is a big high top table in the middle that had people standing and sitting at it - very loud and also we felt crowded by the people standing. So, that was a bummer - hard to talk. But the food was so good so we will be back again. Need to reserve earlier to get a table in the main dining room - place was packed on a Tuesday night!!
A very busy Saturday night. As I did last time I ordered three small plates. beet salad came with tons of arugula , small amount of beets and orange but no cheese as advertised. Sent it back for new one. M’saka was fine, didn’t like the swarhma , lots of teeny tiny pieces not slices as I expected. Hubby had hummus, good , and beef-lamb kabob. Service was very nice but the food was only so so. A let down for me.
This place has been around for years, but the attention to detail has gone away. The host sat us near the front of the dining room. Unfortunately, their front doors don't close all the way. So, the winter air was pooring in on us while we dined. I told our waiter, but he could care less. You should not have to wear our winter coats while we spend good money and dine on above average stew.
Hummus special was delicious and the warm pita bread was especially tasty.
Exceptional food, good prices. Recommended to anyone who likes Lebanese cuisine.
Great food, Inexpensive. My friends and I ate there for the first time. Great Falafel, salad and soups.
We got the vegetarian appetizer platter. All was great, besides the fallafel were a bit too hard and dried out. Unfortunatelly, I ordered the fallafel sandwich, which was mainly all the appetizers stuffed in a pita bread that comes anyway. Their vegetarian options are practically 0!
But the free pita bread is amazing!
If we go back, we will order appetizers, since their maincourses are not mind blowing.
Lebanese Taverna has been a favorite for over 20 years. We live in Va Beach and always have at least one meal there when we visit. We were placed in the bar area even though we had a reservation and unfortunately the bartender had way too much on his plate and offered sub par service. I will admit this was the first and only time we had a negative experience. It will not stop me from going back but I think sitting in the dining room is a better situation for me.
We had to wait about 45 minutes for our food. Two of us ordered the chicken Fateh. We had ordered this before and loved it, but this time it seemed to be lacking one or more spices. It just didn't taste right and was pretty bland. Not what we expect for the price. Clearly they were overwhelmed, but it was just a normal Saturday night. It can't be unusual to be busy on a Saturday night.
Continues to deliver exceptional Lebanese cuisine and wines. Service is good but not particularly attentive to customer needs for water. We will continue to recommend Lebanese Taverna to friends.
Excellent service and delicious food. The hummus trio was fantastic and the bread was outstanding as usual!
Out for dinner with my family.
The restaurant location in McClean, Virginia happens to be the best one out of the other locations in the MD, DC, VA regions.
Service was excellent. Food was incredible.
Best appetizer to start with is the hummus with fresh baked flatbread. I Strongly recommend the garlic hummus (no worries, there’s a mouthwash dispenser with plastic cups in the restrooms).
My lamb dish of shredded lamb on a mild spicy rice and roasted pine nuts was good, but with the added minced lamb stuffed grape leaves, that alone was amazing. My wife had a shrimp dish with rice and some veggies which was quite impressive. Not overly spicy but very flavorful dishes.
Will definitely make the long drive to Northern Virginia again and a detour here when in route elsewhere in the region for this!!
Very, very loud, to the point of discouraging talk. I used hand signals with the waiter. We were a party of 10 next to a party more-than-that and it was intolerable, at least where we were seated. We’ve gone to the Taverna often, but never again, I think.
Luncheon with friends, quick, easy & delicious.
We had a luncheon for nine and it was a great time. Lebanese Taverna split the table bill in to nine separate checks which we really appreciated. They took pictures of the group and allowed us to linger. I'm so glad we went to Lebanese Taverna!
seats are too close together. you are being heard by everyone within a two foot radius. Servers are ok, but need training. You don't hurry customers. SERIOUSLY I felt we were being pushed out the door. I go there at least three times a week to meet customers for lunch. Each time it's the same thing. PUSH, PUSH, PUSH
3 of us got the kabob with beef, chicken and lamb. The chicken was very dry. The others were ok. Seemed like the food had been sitting awhile before our waiter brought it to us. Have been there before and the food was excellent, so this was disappointing. Maybe it was just a off night.
I enjoyed the food and service . The prices are a bit high. The noise level was to loud . The only other issues was the table was to small for the food i ordered.
Great food as usual! Server very friendly. Very busy lunchtime so it took awhile for food to come but worth the wait.
Food selection for my guest was very good. He has many dietary restrictions. However, the noise level was higher than expected.
Ther was a huge 110 party that came in at 630pm. Our reservation was 615pm. All of usnin the main dining area got behind and forgotten while they had to service the huge party. The dinner was late coming out we had to ask for it. Had to ask for our check. Meal took 2 hour for just an app and meal. No dessert.
I've been craving good, fresh falafel for weeks, and couldn't find anything in the Vienna/Oakton area to scratch that itch. Then, I remember about Lebanese Taverna in Tysons! It was great.
Great food and service. Best Mediterranean restaurant in the area.
I love the chicken Shwarma at LT, the warm bread is to die for, cocktails well made. Always a great meal here!
