Ther was a huge 110 party that came in at 630pm. Our reservation was 615pm. All of usnin the main dining area got behind and forgotten while they had to service the huge party. The dinner was late coming out we had to ask for it. Had to ask for our check. Meal took 2 hour for just an app and meal. No dessert.
Great food and service. Best Mediterranean restaurant in the area.
I love the chicken Shwarma at LT, the warm bread is to die for, cocktails well made. Always a great meal here!
The pumpkin kibbeh were good, but my entree of pureed lentil "comfort food" was just bland mush. The bread they brought out was good but the dipping oil was basically just a sludge of dry herbs with almost no oil. Not satisfying at all. The servers were nice though.
Food and service was great
However, the hostess asked if we needed a kid menu when we are 3 adults. Kinda strange
Great service and food for a dinner with friends.
Took the trouble to present myself by 12noon and make the Table(Booth) 'choice' for my Reservation; i was waiting in the foyer in front to greet my Guests, even walking up and down in full view of the hostess to whom i had even explained why i was keen on that particular Booth (Hostess:Ms.MARIA?Lebanese??..i.e., NOT to confuse with the El-Salvadoran girl with the same name who was serving Tables..!!)
Used to constantly look inside to check the "Reserved" board was in place; was appalled on one of my such checking out visits to suddenly find a couple occupying my Reserved chosen booth; when i expressed my dismayed shock to Hostess Maria, she said something about 10 min.delay..COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT i heard.
Not wanting to make a Scene, i settled for precisely the type of seating position i did not want..ONLY THE SUPERLATIVELY BRILLIANT SERVICE AT THE TABLE of Mr.Anthony helped me forget humiliating and unprofessional and RUDE BEHAVIOUR of the hostess; such people being given positions of importance such as "Hostess" put additional pressure unfairly on other Staff to double up to undo the negative stresses and strains caused to Customers by such blatantly insensitive and mist unprofessional practices of such as "hostess" Ms.Maria.
Being Christmas..am only advocating a stern encouragement to demonstrate more Customer-sensitivity..rather than quote rules to Customers.
Service was a little slow
We love this place! Consistently excellent throughout the years! Never had a bad meal there!
Can you open a Lebanese Taverna in Richmond, Va???
Perfect combination of relaxed environment with excellent food and lively environment, plus noise level moderate so that we could have business conversation, even with big groups having holiday celebrations next to us! I would go here for any occasion, from lunch to a date to a party!
Great foo at a great value. Were seated promptly. Restaurant was crowded and noisy.
We had reservations but arrived 15 minutes late. Fortunately we were able to be seated. Everything was amazing.
The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Best hommus I have ever had; super creamy and delicious.
I don’t like when the waiter or waitress collects the paid check before you are ready to leave the table. It’s bad manners. Lebanese Taverna should teach their staff to wait until the customers leave.
Our group of six opted for a selection of meze, all of which were very good - hummus, kibbeh, tabbouleh, babaganoush, falafel and fattoush. This provided the opportunity to taste six or seven different dishes. There is an endless supply of Lebanese flat bread - khebez - at dinner as well. A good selections of wines by the glass or bottle to accompany the meal.
We sat at the bar, instead of a table. The dining room was quite noisy. But the bar was pleasant. Service was good. We had several appetizers, all of which were delicious.
Went to have lunch with my daughter!
The waiter was very friendly and the food was delicious.
Restaurant staff were great - we champagne in advance to surprise one member if our party - and they brought it out with a flourish! Enjoyed share plates and great festive vibe!
Lebanese Taverna is a tried and true favorite that’s always good and has great service. I’ve eaten here for years and I’ve never had a bad experience.
Great food cooked to perfection, particularly the lamb stew and the grilled boneless chicken. Everything about this restaurant has consistently remained above average to excellent whenever I’ve eaten there.
The service was good, but I thought the food was not really good; the meat was very salty. The warm bread and olive oil was nice.
Very disappointing. Lentil soup good, but Taverna sampler, embarrassing. Never again.
Not a good place for kids
Love this place. Food was fabulous. Service was a little off from the usual level-probably due to crowd resulting from federal holiday. Will definitely return.
Very good meal but conversation is difficult at times. Service was very good.
Had the Bronzino and Shrimp entry. It was pan fried but the fish and shrimp did not crisp so it would have been better without the soggy, tasteless breading since the fish and shrimp were properly cooked.
We went for lunch and place is too noisy, you have to almost shout to hear each other. Food was good but priced on the high side.
Everything was excellent. My only complaint would be the noisy restaurant but on a Friday night at Tyson’s Corner I suppose this is to be expected.
Appetizers were great, entree (Shwarma) was OK...a bit dry. Excellent and friendly service and very nice atmosphere.
Always good to find a local place that has great service, food, wine and prices.
Chicken was burnt and salty. Would not recommend this to a friend
Authentic Lebanese food, always good. Located in Tysons Galleria so it can be busy during peak shopping time.
I booked for a table of 5 through open table, arrived for my reservation on time, and two hours later the restaurant canceled my reservation so I lost 100 open table points. Very disappointing. I called and was told someone would call me back but no one did. Will not visit again.
I love mediterranean food, dolmades, humus, falafel etc. and the food here was OK but not the best I have had. My falafel wrap was pretty tasty but extremely dry, as was my side salad (if there was any dressing, it was well hidden). I request tzatziki sauce and the server looked puzzled, and brought me tahini, which was fine. My companion's food was also fine but not exceptional.
It’s a great Mediterranean place. They ran out of French fries when we were there which is kind of odd. They offered cubed potatoes deep fried which wasn’t quite the same.
Tony is the best server!
We have been going to Lebanese Taverna in the Galleria for years. It is wonderful.
We met with friends. The restaurant was very accommodating to special seating needs. The server was very helpful and responsive. The food, as always, was delicious. The assortment of appetizers was especially good.
Love this place!
