About Lebanese Taverna - Tysons Galleria
Lebanese Taverna creates an environment where good food is enjoyed in good company. Each restaurant is a "home away from home," even though the food and ambiance are from across the globe. Whether you are visiting for the first time, the twentieth, or have been coming to a Lebanese Taverna for over 35 years, you will feel welcomed and like a member of the family. The atmosphere is bustling and each of the restaurants has its own design and slightly different flavors. That is because the food is made fresh.

Lebanese Taverna - Tysons Galleria Ratings and Reviews
The service was slow. We ordered a well done steak and they brought it out rare. My bf didn’t want to trouble them so he ate a little but when I saw the bloody steak I was upset and sent the plate back for a well done steak. They brought the same steak back cooked . That was very unsanitary and against health violation. They did give us a complimentary desert but our dinner was ruined as we already waited a long time for food and to have this incident just ruined our appetite.
Made a reservation through OpenTable, arrived on time, but table wasn’t ready, so the host told us to hang at the bar for 5 minutes. He totally forgot about us! 20 minutes later, after he sat 5 other groups, we decided to just sit at the bar to eat. The bartender was great and apologized for the host. Food was good. Host, not so good.
Not impressed. We went on a Saturday night. I hadn't been to Lebanese Taverna in years. The tables were very close together. It was really noisy and the food took forever to arrive. The people at the table next to us got up and left waiting for their food. The mezza was great, but I didn't think the lamb entree was worth the price. The saving grace was the service - very friendly and apologetic. Overall, probably won't go there again.
The food was fabulous; however, the wait staff was slow. Our waiter was absent most of our time & instead of bringing the dessert menu, we were brought the check instead by the hostess. Because of this, plus the rudeness of feeling like we were being forced out, we chose to have dessert elsewhere.
We had a pleasant evening but it wasn’t as cozy as I had envisioned. They sat us at a table with a lot of traffic so I felt myself moving quite a bit to avoid being bumped by waiters passing by. Our waiter also was overstretched causing us to have to turn to other waiters for simple water refills. The food was great. The noise level was a bit on the high side.
Went to New Year's Eve bash. Had a mostly great time, could stand a few minor improvements...
Music was really loud, too loud to hold a conversation. By the end of the night, the place was really festive and the loud music was more welcome. Would have preferred the music not be loud until, say 11:00pm.
Dinner started at 9:00. Food came out really slow. Waiter brought Salmon dish out at 11:30. But that time, we had already filled up and had to turn it down. Restaurant was generous with the food output. At the same time, the New Year's eve dinner didn't include dessert.
Waiter was really good. The other customer's were fun to watch. As I said, real festive at the end. Overall, we had a great time!
They brought the wrong appetizer for two times. My shawarma sandwich was very cold and dry my husband ‘s vegetarian dish Mehshi was oily and didn’t have tast at all. First they forgot to bring one of the dishes for my friend and finally when they brought it was lamb shawerma instead of chicken so they brought a chicken side dish as well . The nice thing was when complined about my food being cold they didn’t charge me for it. Over all i am not going back there.very disappointed
The food was fantastic, but the service was odd. When we asked for our check, the server said “No, I’ll bring it later when you’re finished.” We were finished and had somewhere to be, so it was very strange. The food is excellent, but this is the second time I’ve had very odd service at this location.
