The food was delicious, very fresh. I had the hummas and the chicken curry and both were very flavorful.

Decent Lebanese food. Nice deserts. Good option if you are looking for a less crowded and not overly touristy place near Harbor.

Love the atmosphere, the creative menu, the flavors all delicious.

My lamb stew was delicious but, not hot enough, and a bit on the tough side.

So, I wanted some comfort food for my birthday, but wasn't in the mood for traditional American comfort food and after reading reviews decided upon the Labanese Taverna. Reservations were easy to make during the week even a couple hours in advance. The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive minus the one period when our server disappeared for a while. As for the food, overall everything was good. The spanakopita and baklava were the best I've had and trust me I've been disappointed by these two dishes often enough that I almost stopped trying them anywhere I go. The shawarma and mouzat were fine, but nothing to rave about. What disappointed me though was the falafel — isn't wasn't the worse, but I really thought it would have been spectacular, maybe I put to much pressure on it — it was almost flavorless and so dense (without any balance) and I like dense foods, it kind of just dropped into your stomach. It's also worth mentioning that the rest of my party — who were also all unfamiliar with the cuisine — enjoyed their entrees of chicken curry, bronzino, and kabobs. Overall it was a wonderful experience — definitely elevated by the welcoming staff — I would dine there again.

This visit to Lebanese Taverna was not a special experience. This was a surprise and disappointment as I'd recently been for lunch and found it quite wonderful. Poor food quality was my main concern on this most recent visit: My lamb kabob was bland and severely overcooked. None of my business associates offered positive comments on their meals, thus I guess that their experience was similar. The ambiance is nice--the service was quite good; I hope they were having an off night.

The food at this place was amazing and suburb. One of the best hummus we have ever tried. The only issue was the waitress who was taking our order. She was a lady with short hair and glasses. She had other tables she was taking care of but she was not showing any type of attention to us. We ordered 2 glasses of wine which it took her 20 minutes to bring. The basket of bread we are suppose to get in the beginning, she never brought. For about 45 minutes we were not getting served until the manager or owner noticed and came out with the bread basket and brought our appetizer out. He personally apologized which was really nice but the waitress came by but never apologized. We saw a lot of other waiters and waitress who were doing a good job taking care of the customers, I guess we just got stuck with the bad one. Overall I would come back here for the food only if we didn't have the short haired lady with the glasses.

This was a first time here for everyone in our group of six and we all loved it!
Our server was prompt, attentive and made some great recommendations. We had a time limit as we had tickets to the theater after dinner and they were very accommodation . The food was outstanding--one of the best meals I've had while dining out in a long time.
We'll definitely go back

My husband and I aren't huge fans of brunch, so we're always looking for restaurants that offer lunch on Saturdays. Lebanese Taverna was just the spot--and it had the extra benefit of outdoor seating on the waterfront. With the nice weather we've been having, we truly couldn't ask for anything more. We shared the Chef's Platter and Taverna Platter for lunch, and it was plenty of food for two! We loved getting to try a bite of so many different dishes. While we certainly had favorites, I can say that we hardly left a thing on our plates! The baklava was a nice finish to the meal, and I would highly recommend the pomenade (pomegranate, orange juice, and lemonade) if you're looking for a non-alcoholic drink selection. Overall, this was a great dining experience, and we'll definitely return in the future!

Friendly attentive service and great middle eastern food. The lamb was tender and full of flavor. The Chef's Platter really introduced us to a great meal, that was followed by the wonderful lamb chops. This was a very enjoyable experience.

The food was very good. Their hummus and Tabouleh were amazing. The lamb/beef Shawarma wasn't as good as I expected (not a fan of red sauce on the side thought mixed in a bit). Also, I think some of the prices could have been a bit lower, though due to location they weren't,but in general I would go there again if I were in Baltimore. I live in central NJ and have access to different types of Lebanese food as a comparison point.

We had a very good dinner here last night. The service and food were very good. Started with shawarma rolls, taverna octopus and the best Pita. For dinner we had mouzat and ouzi with grape leaves.

I am Lebanese, so I know what I'm talking about. Lebanese Taverna is not only authentic, it takes a cuisine that is usually very home-style in most other Arabic restaurants, and brings it up a few notches to fine-dining with a more modern and appealing presentation. For example, the hummous is more silky-smooth and velvety in texture than you can find in the store or even make yourself.

It's one of our family's favorites, and we never fail to have a great meal here, with good service. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and designed, and the outdoor tables have a lovely view of the water.

Our first visit and it was an excellent experience overall: delicious food (two lamb entrees and the 9 samplers) best waitress, Nadia, nice ambience with waterfront view. The non-alcoholic drink recommended to me, 'breeze' with green tea/Morocco tea is delicious. We went for an early Valentine Day's dinner. We plan to return after this pleasant experience.
