Lebanese Taverna - Baltimore Ratings and Reviews
I thoroughly enjoyed my night at lebanese taverna. This was a belated valentines day dinner and my date and I had a great time. The ambience and lighting were romantic but not a place where you can't see the food on your plate. The noise was inviting with a lot of conversations going on around you but not in the distracting way. My date had the lamb kebabs which were delicious and I had the lamb trio special which was outstanding. I would also recommend the drinks especially the mojito which was well made and the sangria which was flavorful but not overpoweringly strong. Overall I would say lebanese taverna has a good combination of food, ambience, and a great bar.
While I have been there a couple of times with co-workers, I thought this would be an awesome spot to bring my wife for Valentine's Day weekend. The ambiance of the restaurant is relaxing and romantic with an unhurried pace that allowed us to fully enjoy ourselfs. The Valentine's Day dinner for two was an absolute success filled with tongue tantilizing tastes to delight our palettes, with 9 samples of applitizers and 4 entrees to enjoy. While all was superb, our favorite dishes were the chicken shawarma, eggplant fatteh (yogurt casserole), and the sujok (spicey sausage). We plan on returning often!!
I really love these string of restaurants. They all offer something different! Lebanese Taverna sincerely has something for every person's tastes, you just have to decipher the menu and you've got a delicious plate infront of you. I took a Lebanese friend here and she liked it, but the happy hour that she had liked in the Fall had changed she said, which was disappointing. I would have liked to see more choices for the restaurant week menu - but my kabobs were good, the rice was delicious, and it's a fantastic location...especially midday when you can see the harbor. Always excellent service.
Had a great meal at LT. Have eaten there many times, and this time might have been the best. Did not order off the restaurant week menu, but still felt the meal was a good value. The bronzino special, the m'saka, and the bread pudding made for a great trio. The molten chocolate dessert was yummy, too. Our excellent waitress, Tatiana, did everything right - made good suggestions and was magically always there when we were ready for her. Her timing was perfect, and she's very sweet. She really made our evening.
Excellent food and service - nothing to complain about whatsoever! Good for both vegetarians and carnivores. Easy to get to on the Charm City Circulator as well. Located right on the waterfront in the new upscale East Harbor district. The mezzas are a great way to sample a number of their offerings.
We went during a snowstorm and the staff was still attentive and friendly (despite probably worrying about how to get home!). Food was prompt and delicious — most of our group got the "traditional mezza" which included a wide variety of foods, and there wasn't a dud item. Especially for the price, which was very reasonable.
I love Lebanese Taverna. There are so many vegetarian options, as well as plenty of traditional lamb options. I went here on a double date. We ordered 4-5 different appetizers, the hummus trio, and flat bread. Plenty of food! The menu was a bit overwhelming because there were so many options. We used a Groupon and got a great deal, but it's nicely priced even without a discount.
This is a very attractive restaurant, with very friendly and helpful service. It is close to the LandMark Theatre, which is why we chose it. The servings were just right, not too large and not too small, but enough for us to taste each other's items. We are looking forward to coming to Brunch soon. Very family-friendly.
Staff is seriously knowledgeable. I definitely got the feel that this was a closely held restaurant with an earnest (and successful) attempt to convey truly cultural fare. We gave our waiter no more than three criteria, and we let him select our meals and our wine from there. Between the two of us, there was absolutely no disappointment. I tend to be pretty sensitive to salt levels, and the dishes were a tad heavy on the salt. Aside from that, a solid restaurant. Definitely get the baked chicken and couscous!
waitress was either unaware of what the dish was she was serving or would give a generic answer such as meatballs or chicken wings. The speaker was extremely loud and right next to our table. food was cold that should have been warm. Belly Dancers were very entertaining.
We did the "New Year's" package. They served any and all of the appetizers, then brought a sampling of Middle Eastern deserts just before the belly dancer's arrived (they were a big hit). Then they passed out the champagne, New Year's hats/noise makers and opened the side door so we could walk outside and see the fire works. It was an EXCELLENT evening!
