Lebanese Taverna - Baltimore Ratings and Reviews
Service was absolutely great. Food was very good. I've eaten here before. I've also visited two other Of there locations. In Washington DC and Bethesda, Maryland. All were great. I've taken my entire family and also enjoyed an evening there with my wife. We will be bake again.
Food was great! We sat at a 4 top table in the main restaurant and it was pretty much impossible to hear what the server was saying even asking for him to repeat himself multiple times. We typically request a booth but it didn’t look like one was available Otherwise, food was wonderful. We will be back and requesting a booth.
Appetizers and Dessert were amazing. The main was really bad. It was the shrimp and sea bass the salsa thing it comes with tasted old.
Server was too hurried and was just punching a clock, I asked him to box up the bread for us, he forgot. I felt like we were a bother. Also did not like the table we were sat at. There were plenty of open tables and ample servers.
I was disappointed since we don’t go out often and it felt like we wasted our evening.
Probably won’t go back. I don’t recommend them. I have had better Lebanese cuisine.
Although this is one of my favorite types of food, our visit this time around was mediocre. It was my birthday and my friend's birthday and the waiter never even said anything even though I had put my reservation down as being celebratory for our birthdays. The waiter seemed overwhelmed and was minimal on checking on us. I had to remind him for a few things and I would've been happy to get another drink although was never asked. The food overall was a mix of good and not so good. My friends got a calamari appetizer and four people shared it and ended up being inedible with a very acrid aftertaste that left two people coughing. My friends don't like to make a scene so nothing was said, except to the table. The lamb shanks were a bit overdone for the two people who ordered them. One friend got the LT Burger and said it was very bland. I, however, enjoyed my shish kafta (which is why I came and was delicious as always) and my other friends enjoyed their lamb kabobs, the curry and the stews that they ate. The desserts were delicious as well. Those were excellent across the board. This is one of my go to places, but I always get the same things and the quality doesn't change, it's always delicious. The food seems uneven for larger groups. I'll still be coming back, but I don't think I'll be bringing large groups of friends with me.
We've had many meals here but this one was not up to par. Our server was fantastic, but I wonder if the kitchen has changed. My shrimp still had shells on several of them, and the dessert crepes were very odd, almost as if it hadn't been thawed.
We won't return anytime soon.
Always a good meal at Lebanese Taverna! The food is delicious, whole wheat pita with zatar, fresh from the oven, is alone worth the trip! Vegan and vegetarian options make this our go to.
When dining with friends who want a good hearty meal , everyone is happy! Lovely wait staff aims to please. Enjoy!
I was told this restaurant was highly rated so I gave it a try. The food was excellent- service not so much. We waited for 30 minutes while the tables on either side of us were tended to by a young lady who barely looked in our direction. I finally asked if there was a server assigned to our table, and she said she would check. A slightly confused young man eventually came and took our order. 20 minutes later we still had not received our drinks. Now when the food came, it was very good so I must say I did enjoy the meal. However I did resent having to add more time to the parking meter...
This was our second time in five years having visited Baltimore and on each occasion it was a priority to go to this restaurant. Food was well prepared, fresh ingredients, a very nice portion, and the overall taste and experience was superb on each occasion . Highly recommend Lebanese Taverna for a romantic date night, meeting with friends, or just to save her wonderfully prepared and very tasty Lebonese fare.
We went there for a friend's birthday celebration. Service and ambiance are outstanding. Lamb was well done when two of us requested for medium. A little pricey for $29 entree of overcooked lamb, potatoes and small portion of zucchini. Bread and appetizer was excellent.
