Lebanese Taverna - Baltimore
Book your next event with us
Food was very good, service was excellent, definitely will return.
We loved the food! Our server was so sweet, very friendly & knowledgeable about the menu! We would definitely go back.
Lebanese Taverna is normally a good experience. This visit was an exception. The restaurant was crowded, but the wait staff was inefficient and ineffective. We sat at a table by a window, along with 3 other tables. All 4 of us had different wait staff. Our waitress had most of her other tables at the other end of the restaurant. We rarely saw her, and it always took a long time for things like getting a check. Sadly, our food was bad as well. My wife's salad came on a HOT dish. My lamb kabob was too well done and very dry.
Nice place to try Lebanese and good ambience. must visit place for its location and service.
The restaurant is lovely, the service wonderful - spaced out very well, didn't feel like I was rushed, had time to talk to but didn't feel like the food should have already arrived. it was a bit noisy at peak time but still able to converse. The food was very good - wonderful flavors though the chicken and lamb were just slightly overcooked. I have been there many times and will continue to go. Whenever we bring people for the first time they love it and are so happy to know about it.
Food was delicious!!! Waiter was very friendly but could have checked up on us a little more often just for little things like water refill and such. Overall a great experience and can’t wait to go back!!
We had a quick, small meal prior to attending a movie at a nearby theater. Service was fast and courteous, food was delicious, and room was quiet at 6pm.
Wonderful restaurant-food is exceptional, family-friendly, great staff.
We had a wonderful dinner here prior to watching a concert at the hippodrome. Our waiter knew that we had to leave at a certain time and he was attentative and made sure that our meals came out in a timely manner. We have not eaten here in a couple of months, so it was good to reacquaint ourselves with the menu. We had the m'saka for appetizers and ouzi with grape leaves as our main entrée. Both were delicious and filling! For dessert we had the awamat, which is a personal favorite. It was warm, simple and decadent! Would definitely return to have dinner again!
Great food. Excellent service
Our first experience with Lebanese cuisine. The wait staff was happy to offer suggestions and thoroughly explained our dishes. The view of the bay was beautiful. Will definitely return.
It’s was very loud! So loud I damn near had to read the waitress lips to try to understand anything she was saying. The food was very fresh, which is never a bad thing. Just a heads up “sauté” apparently means deep fried, just so you know. The food itself was good not great. This place was definitely worth trying, not certain I’d try it twice.
First time here...won’t be our last!
Service was not good. Rarely saw the waiter. Chicken was very dry. Chefs special was decent.
For Sunny’s Birthday - all four of us loved the waiter!
We had a party of 6 the food was fantastic very authentic. However it was the slowest service I had ever had. The waitress forgot drinks, didn’t refill glasses, forgot food, left food on the pass.
Amazing hummus! Wait staff is so kind and accommodating .
Sat at the bar during restaurant week. The bartender made excellent food and drink recommendations up and down the menu. Great place for dessert and a drink. Try the cheese crepes!
Always so good. Love this place!
Great food, casual atmosphere in a great part of town
Had a great experience!! Our first time here. Iman was wonderful and such a great bar tender! Such wonderful food staff and ambiance! Great prices. Would go again.
We had New Years Eve dinner here. It was a fixed meal and price. It came out to $215 for two people. It was definitely not worth it.
The cold appetizers was ok. The hummus was good. The hot appetizers were not good. The meats (beef and chicken) were overcooked and dry. The entrees were not good either. Everything was overcooked and dry. The fried dough balls for dessert were the best thing of the entire meal.
The service was ok. He was friendly but I had to ask for a refill.
It was a nice touch to put party favors on each table. So that was nice.
I understand New Years dinner would be a higher price than usual. But the food should match the price. This was way overpriced not worth it. I was disappointed.
My wife and I have always enjoyed coming to Lebanese Taverna in Baltimore. The food options are always great and at reasonable price points for the amount of food you would be getting. I have also never been disappointed with the drinks, especially the Beirut Mule.
Amazing food!! Bring gum, you’ll probably need it but it is totally worth the dragon breath. Their hummus the is hands down the best ever!
Went here for my birthday and staff were very attentive to us and really made sure we were comfortable. Meal of our lives. Fantastic food all-round. Great Lebanese wine collection!
The food was it’s usual excellence and the presentation was delightful. However the service was uneven. The restaurant was preparing for a large party and that seemed to suck up everyone’s time. Drinks were slow to come and servers did not come back to check on us - rather - we had to wave at them for attention. Also two bathrooms out of order and one out of t.p. However, not enough to dissuade me from returning.
Came in for lunch with business colleagues. Food was delicious, service was good. Will definitely return!
Wonderful staff. Exceptional cuisine. Great value. Highly recommend.
This was a treat. Our meals were simply delicious...the staff was very friendly and attentive.
Was attending a weekend event in Baltimore and needed early Saturday night dinner for 10 people. A local friend recommended Lebanese taverna and we made a rez a week in advance. Our table was waiting on arrival and the staff and kitchen could not have been more accommodating to our group of varied eaters. We loved the combination appetizer platters with lots of dips and the small balloon like hot pitas were outstanding! We all enjoyed our entrees and drank plenty of sangria. Would definitely recommend!
We met out of town friends for a Saturday lunch. They were late in arriving, so whiled away the time exploring some Lebanese wines (good) and some smokey baba ganouch (very good). The pita bread was nicely warmed and puffed. Our main courses were all taste treats, and because the Saturday afternoon business wasn't too heavy, we were able to sit and talk pleasantly for over three hours without feeling rushed. It was a great choice.
The food and service at Lebanese Taverna was outstanding as always. The Harbor East location is convenient and well-appointed. I commend it to anyone who's considering dining options in the Downtown, Inner Harbor or Fells Point areas of Baltimore.
Four of us went to Lebanese Taverna for lunch. We have been to this restaurant many times over the years and enjoyed it. It was no different this time. We selected a range of entrees from chicken fateh to falafel to ouzi with grape leaves. All dishes were well-prepared and enjoyable. Service was friendly and helpful. For some reason, the restaurant was very noisy on this visit.
Great meal and fantastic service.
Staff were wonderful for accommodating our birthday event! Lovely food and drinks
Highly recommend, the food and the service were fantastic!
We had a large group and the waiter was very helpful
Everyone enjoyed their food
My table ordered the family style shawarma dinner. It was a lot of food, but it was really very good.
The hummus was creamy, the grape leaves had a nice lemony tang. The kibbeh was nicely seasoned. The rice was a flavorful basmati rice and both the chicken and lamb shawarma were both well seasoned
A satisfying delicious dinner.
There was a long wait for our food, but once we got it, it was excellent. We were able to sit outside with a view of the marina, which was lovely. Our waiter was very nice and the bread was excellent. We got the shrimp kebabs and the mixed kebabs. Everything was good and a lot of food.
The hummus trio and the pulled lamb were delicious. Very filling. Great service.
