Excellent as always, great food and service
Excellent dinner on a Saturday night! My wife had the trout and, even though I’m not a big seafood fan, I enjoyed the bite she gave me. It almost melted in my mouth! I had the steak frites and it was cooked perfectly to my liking. It’s hanger steak, so it’s a bit tougher. But it was very good and not fatty at all. It was also a nice size. The drink menu was great as well. My merlot / cab franc blend was delicious. For dessert, we split a milk chocolate pot de creme. It did take quite a while for it to come out - upwards of maybe 20-30 minutes. But when it finally came out, it was delicious and worth the long wait. People watching at this restaurant is outstanding as well, especially if seated outside. I highly recommend this restaurant!
STRONGLY SUGGEST SAFF AMD SERVERS WEAR MASKS
Very good meal. Calamari, Steak Frites, Filter au Poivre all quite good.
The service by Jean Marc was fantastic. Very attentive, swift, and very polite.
About $230.00 including tip and alcohol. I will return for sure.
I have been to Le Zoo many times and always enjoy it. We had the Miami Spice lunch which was a great value. The salmon tartare and the ice cream/gelato were particularly excellent.
I eat at Le Zoo often & this time it was disappointing. Mussels tasted off. Tuna tartare should have been colder. Truffle pasta was good although the truffle oil was a little overwhelming. Best dish was steak frites. 1 of 4 for $200+ doesn’t cut it. Too many other good options. Try elsewhere.
The food was great but more importantly our sever Jonathan was so nice!
Was staying across the street and went shopping at Bal Harbour shops. After shopping we decided to grab an early dinner. It’s a nice casual place. Very limited menu. Nothing special or unique. Would not make a special trip to go there, but if you are there and just want to grab a bite it is fine.
Amazing little authentic French cafe in Bal Harbor. The French toast is spectacular!
Everything we had was incredible! Beautiful place and good food!
We have eaten at Le Zoo several times and go there as we can eat outdoors due to the Covid situation. The food is well prepared, the choices on the menu are limited and in some instances measured. When I ordered coffee, it was not presented with cream. I had to ask for that and waited while my coffee cooled. We ordered croissants and they were not presented with butter. Finally, we asked for jam and there was a one-dollar surcharge.
This is not the norm and both myself and my dining companion felt it was petty considering the price of the entrees.
Excelente atención y servicio
The service was great. I didn’t get our waiters name but he was wonderful. The food was very good
It was amazing lunch.
Service and taste are so wonderful!!
I defnitely come back again.
My boyfriend and I went to Le
Would definitely be back
Excellent Attention good service and customer serrvice
Had the mussels, they were chewy. Also had the west coast oysters, they were just ok. We’ve had better elsewhere. Tagliatelle was overcooked but the truffle flavor was excellent ! Noisy sitting outside near valet with loud cars!
Sit inside or mall side. The front is hot and noisy but you can see fancy cars get valet parked
Great service. Ambiance was nice but the portable fans were extremely loud and made it almost impossible to talk over.
We come to this restaurant a few times a month. It's always Great food and service.
Lovely restaurant and a true reminder of a real Paris Bistro. The food and service are impeccable.
Bad, waited 35 minutes for a bottle of water, my entree was well done instead of medium rare.
I do know the problems in the hospitality industry. I don’t think that the server was overwhelmed.
I always have a great time here, but today was not one of those days.
Love, love, love, Le Zoo!
It was ok. Drinks weren’t good. The food wasn’t worth the price. In my opinion, this restaurant wasn’t worth the hour drive.
Luiz is the number one waiter...we love him, the food, the drink and the atmosphere at this wonderful joint. Plus, the greeters/hostesses always know our favorite table...super! My wife and I look forward to lunching with you all again and again. Thank you!
Wonderful ambience, prompt and friendly service
They made some changes and not for the best. They used to have the best French fries; thin and crispy. Now they are bigger and not crispy. The bread that is usually delicious was stale. The cucumber soup was so salty. Took forever to get someone to bring over the bill.
Normally it’s a great place to dine - we had bread delivered to the table - it was stale - we asked for a replacement- brought 3 slices of bread - we eat a lot of bread - when asked why so little bread the server said 3 people 3 slices
It’s bread - the pasta was ok but smaller serving than in the past - the Niçoise salad was fine -
The hostess stand is scratched and dirty on the side - needs to be cleaned
Always consistent love the food, ambience and our waiter was delightful!
El lugar adentro me encanto , y la comida riquísima , una experiencia que volveré a repetir 👌.
We went for the Miami Spice menu and the pate, ratatouille, and creme brûlée were amazing!!! And the portions were filling. Our waiter provided average service and was not attentive.
Sunday brunch is a revered time for my wife and I and we appreciate having great food and some champagne. Le Zoo never lets us down. Luis, our server the past couple times, is fabulous and attentive. I love that you can get a proper French omelet and some great selections of champagnes as well. This time we also got the caviar which I love and my wife now does 😀 thank you to the whole team there for always delivering a fabulous meal.
Lunch interview - quiet corner table, server attentive but not pushy. Food was delicious and a great price.
Exelente lugar, muy buena atencion y muy rica la comida ,con una elegante carta de vinos
Staff was quick and super polite. Very attentive and the food was delicious!
I went during Miami Spice, and left a very satisfied customer. Their 3 course meal was fantastic, and the drinks were top shelf. I highly recommend checking out this place, it won't disappoint.
Amazing food and service as always! We celebrate all occasions here and there is no better spot!
outstanding... so authentic and enjoyable. trout is tops and the wine list is excellent. we have been there several times. going back
Best kept secret for us locals and Bal Harbour visitors. With their revised menu over this past year, the focus is still French, but offers more meat and seafood without rich sauces. If you love oysters… go! Great selection and very fresh. Escargot is delicious. Carpaccio fabulous! And another shhhhhh secret… they serve brunch on weekends. Menu is to die for! Best eggs Benedict ever! And perhaps most importantly is the service and amazing staff. Katherine is simply, the best! She Is delightful, knows drinks and food recommendations as if she owned the place for years. All staff take great pride in their professionalism, kindness, quality and originality of food and drink… a place I will always come back to.
