The crabcakes are all backfin. Delicious. Wonderful Sauvignon-voignier wine too.
Delicious food in a beautiful space. I loved the 3 soups I tasted. Like a trip to France.
My wife and I always enjoy Le Yaca, and we recently enjoyed celebrating our wedding anniversary there. The food is always excellent, consistent, and never disappointing. Portion size is always perfect. But what really shines at Le Yaca is the service. In this day in age when mediocre service seems to be the norm, Le Yaca stands out as one of those rare places where the staff has very obviously been well trained, and they even take great pride in their work. Everything is just right. And that's why we will keep coming back. Thank you!
Initial issue with lack of bar service. Ignored for 10 minutes.
We expressed our displeasure, and the manager was extremely apologetic, sat us a a very nice table , with great wait staff. From then on, an excellent meal. Well prepared and presented food, with a decidedly continental flair. The owner came by to check on us and ask about our initial issues. He was again apologetic and comped our dessert, which Was a nice touch and unexpected. After a bit of a rough start, an excellent meal in a pleasant space with very good service.
One of the best restaurants in the area - wonderful, appropriately attentive service, food cooked to perfection - overall a fabulous dining experience. Thank you Le Yaca!
We are always pleased with every aspect of Le Yaca. This time was no different! Reliable. Excellent all around!
Always reliable. Service is excellent, food always delicious, wine selection varied and reasonably priced options available.
An excellent place for a great dinner with a very good wine list . Great servers who know their business. All around probably the best in Williamsburg
We enjoyed this restaurant very much and would not hesitate to bring guests with us. The prices were very reasonable, the food was yummy.
Great restaurant with amazing food. We stumbled across this restaurant about 10 years ago and we have never been disappointed. I would recommend reservations.
We were visiting Williamsburg with another couple on a golf outing. This was our second dining adventure at Le Yaca and the first for the couple traveling with us. We were anxious to return because our first visit over a year ago was fantastic. We were not disappointed. We all started with the house special french onion soup which was absolutely delicious. My wife had the filet and shrimp risotto and described it as one of the best meals she's ever had. I can attest that she's had many from New York to Paris, Venice to Sydney, so this is a complement to the Le Yaca chef of the highest order. I ordered the veal scaloppine with mushroom sauce as did one of our companions. The veal was cut a little thicker than expected but tender enough to cut with a fork. We both agreed the dish was fantastic. Our other companion order the lamb loin. She couldn't finish the generous portion but asked for it to be packaged to take out. She finished it on the golf course the next day, still remarking on how delicious it was. We finished up with tasty deserts and washed it all down with a bottle of french bordeaux. Perhaps the greatest praise I can give this restaurant is that as we were saying our goodbyes on our return to Roanoke 2 days later, everyone commented on the great meal we had at Le Yaca. If you're in Williamsburg, don't miss the opportunity to dine at Le Yaca. It is a memorable experience.
P.S. Our server was from Manila and he was a jewel!
We've been here a number of times before though not in about 9 months. Ambience is always nice - food was not quite up to what we've had in the past - thin potatoes overcooked, spinach no seasoning to discern, veal tender but seasoning again bland. Wait staff a bit over-attentive when we go there for conversation. Not a bad value (for their 3 or 4 course prix fixe menu) and the special rockfish was a nice presentation, as was the dessert, just not quite up to past experiences there. Manager also dressed highly casual for an upscale restaurant like this.
Excellent - food is absolutely wonderful; staff is very attentive; prices are reasonable; what more can you ask for.
Especially recommend their fixed price dinner. Don't miss the onion soup.
Le Yaca is one of my favorite restaurants in town. The food is superb, the dining rooms are usually fairly quiet and intimate, and the service is outstanding. The pris fixe meals for lunch, dinner, and brunch are great values.
Everything was superb, best restaurant in Williamsburg!!
Fantastic restaurant, a must visit on your list! The food and service is like a multi star Michlelin ! Seafood, steaks, veal are outstanding! The soups are a must! Look at the fixed price menu.
Absolutely the best. Food was excellent and imaginative. Service was impeccable. We were there for our anniversary and there were special touches. I felt very pampered. Can’t wait to go back but we were tourists. Hopefully we will get back to the Williamsburg area. I cannot recomend this restaurant highly enough.
Crab cake was the BEST ever.
Lobster tails were over cooked.
Fillet was not good but not great.
French Onion soup tasted good but Outback has better.
We celebrated our anniversary tonight at Le Yaca, our favorite restaurant. It was so delicious and elegantly served. They have the best most professional waiters. It is always a special treat and consistently wonderful.
It was a delightful lunch, thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The crab cakes are amazing!
My husband and I dine here frequently, but this was the first time we came for brunch. It was spectacular!!! The chocolate croissants were to die for, and the mimosa that was included with the meal was a nice touch. We’ll definitely be back.
Always a pleasure! Quality menus featuring food masterfully prepared and elegantly served. The professional wait staff is appropriately attentive hovering.
Best Brunch in Williamsburg.
EASILY once of the best restaurants I have ever enjoyed! Food was absolutely terrific. Service was excellent ~ not too much, not too little. I think the prix fixe is an excellent value. Would (have!) recommend to anyone who will listen.
One of the finest restaurants in Williamsburg! Great service and good food! We have never been disappointed.
I really want to give it a 4.5 star but don’t have that option. It’s a larger establishment with plenty of seating spread out very well (3 different rooms I believe) and they flow well. The decor is very light mostly shades of white. Still inviting but not as much as it could be but then again it fits the type of restaurant (French). They have a nice little bar area in which we had a cocktail and wine before dinner. The grapefruit cocktail was not as I expected and a bit bitter but that is of preference. I did realize after we ordered it that if you click on the drink in the menu, it will give you a description. It did say bitter in the beginning and ending in sweetness. I love the menu options a la cart or 3 course and even 4 course. Prices were surprisingly reasonable. My 3 course was $37 and worth every penny. Plates were creative and very good. I had the 5oz. Steak a’poivre which laid atop a bed of delicious fried potatoes and spinach and 4 med shrimp on risotto. My husband had the pork tenderloin laid atop a bed of fried potatoes with a chutney. Everything was very good and filling! Dessert was an amazing chocolate molten type cake with ice cream. Yummy! Highly recommend!
As always, spot on! Best restaurant in Williamsburg. Food, service, ambiance, perfect evening. Thank you to the kitchen and entire staff.
Wonderful meal in lovely setting. Food was not only very good but beautifully presented. Good service. Perfect evening.
Very nice place and very good food and good a service as well
Outstanding in every respect; food, ambience and service were flawless!
Le Yaca NEVER disappoints! We have been celebrating our wedding anniversary there for 26 years!
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner. The food and atmosphere are always perfect! Recommend the onion soup.
Very nice meal to celebrate two birthdays. The filet was cooked perfectly as was the fish. The only disappointment was that there was nothing special done for two of our birthdays. Still, the nicest restaurant in Williamsburg.
They made a wonderful effort to make my mother ‘s birthday celebration special.
Second visit to Le Yaca, like the first everything was wonderful1 The onion soup was the best; a little thicker then most and served without a big glob of cheese and bread, which is just difficult to eat. No they serve their soup with a few croutons and a light amount of shredded cheese allowing the soup to be the star. The scallops were moist with a golden finish, spot on. I thought the veal was a little tough, hence the 4 star rating for the food, but the taste was very good. Definitely a place to go for a special occasion or when you just want a first class dinning experience. By the way, how many quite restaurants have you been to of late where you can enjoy the company you are with and savor the food in peace?
Wonderful experience, excellent food with unique and remarkable food.
I will definitely revisit if I come to Williamsburg again. The experience added lots bonus to our visit. The onion soup and bread were great! The waitress was very nice.
The food is excellent and authentic French dishes are a delight. This is the kind of restaurant you go to for the experience of the food. I had the twin lobster tails which were excellent and hubby had veal scallopini which was superb. We also enjoyed the potato leak soup and for dessert a poached French peach and a chocolate choice. Both were excellent. Don’t bring your children. Save this experience for adult company. Definitely dine here if you love good food served by a very professional staff.
Hsve eaten at Le Yaca at least once every year in the past 20 years as we often come to the Williamsburg Inn on our anniversary. Your new location is very nice maybe not as warm as the past but seems to us as a much safer location. We loved Madame but find your current owners most welcoming.
Simply outstanding food and service!!! Ten stars
