Lovely brunch. Great place to celebrate a birthday. Looking forward to returning soon.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Great place to celebrate a special occasion!
Wonderful lunch with the three course offering. The crab crepe and the daily special of a smoked salmon quiche were enjoyed. Great service and an intimate place to dine with friends or as a couple.
Le Yaco continues to be the best restaurant in Williamsburg. The food and service are excellent and the setting is beautiful. Outstanding wine selection as well with a good range from reasonable to you can spend more if you want to. The cost/value ratio is excellent.
Incredible birthday lunch! We ilve in the area and I can't believe we have never eaten here! I felt like I was in Paris: 2 hour undisturbed lunch in a beautiful environment. It will now be our "go to" for special occasions.
As always, the service was impeccable and the food delicious.
THIS WAS A FANTASTIC BIRTHDAY DINNER FOR MY WIFE. NOT VERY CROWDED. SERVER WAS PLEASANT WITH A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR.......BUT BEST OF ALL, THE FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. WILL GO AGAIN ON A QUIET MONDAY EVENING!
This is a great restaurant ..the fixed lunch is great...food always great as is service
My husband and I had the lobster tails/crab cake entree and it was so delicious. The lobster tails were perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. The crab cake is the best we’ve ever had and we’ve had many. We keep returning for all the reasons you want and expect in a fine restaurant—excellent food, excellent service and beautiful ambience. We love this restaurant-it really can’t be beat.
We come here for most of our date nights and we ALWAYS enjoy it! Food is absolutely fantastic and staff is wonderful. We usually get the 3 course meals which is a great deal.
Excellent as always. This is clearly the best restaurant in the area.
Everything was very good....except the sauce au poivre. Chef needs to build a fine sauce and not douse a good piece of meat with a thick meat sauce that tastes nothing like a real sauce au poivre
We enjoyed our meal at Le Yaca. The tenderloin was likely the most tender beef my wife and I have ever experienced. Our waiter was excellent. The only real negative was the temperature in the dining room. It was a warm day in the ‘Burg, yet the heat was on, in the room. It was almost unbearable, especially while eating the especially warm dishes (like the soup). We commented on it, and the waiter was eventually able to adjust the heat, but it definitely detracted from our experience. I’d go back for sure, though!
This is our favorite restaurant. We've recommended it to friends and they love it too. The rockfish was outstanding.
The experience was better than expected.
Everything about the dining experience was wonderful. The fish was cooked perfectly and the prix fixe menu was a real bargain.
We have been here several times and have not been disappointed. Food is excellent as is the service. Highly recommend the Sunday brunch!
Have been dining at Le Yaca for 19 years and have NEVER had a poor experience. It has always been outstanding.
They were short staffed the night I was there but you would never have known it. Waitress was friendly and prompt, the food came to the table in good time and was DELICIOUS!!
Ming our waiter was outstanding. The food and presentation was the best I have had since dining in Europe. I have been to Le Yaca many times for lunch, this was my first dinner and will definitely dine there again.
This is our favorite restaurant in Williamsbur. It is our go to place for special occasions.
All people that just walk in should be asked to step aside, and wait until all those with
reservations get seated.
The evening we came, people waiting at the door for it to open at 5pm we’re people that were in
a group and obviously had no reservations, while those of us coming in were waiting behind them
as the kind waiters and staff tried politely to accommodate the unscheduled group seated somewhere.
THIS IS NOT GOOD...
Le Yaca sports a beautiful atmosphere, with white tablecloths and lovely decorations. And the food was delicious! (Try the onion soup and poached salmon - yummy!)
Great food and service!
Server was very professional.
We couldn’t get in for Xmas eve so went the night after Xmas.
Three of us. We ordered from the prix fixe menu that has many choices. Three different mains and appetizers gave us a good feel for this place. Soup special - a mushroom bisque. Their version of French Onion. And a Salad. Mains - a surf and turf of a generous crab cake and 5 oz. filet. The special Thursday lamb that is prepared in sight of the entrance and a generous Coquilles Saint Jacques (Diver scallops). The surf and turf was $47. The other two were $37. Desert choices were also many- We had three different. Wine prices were reasonable.
Overall experience was great. Cost for three with wine before tax and tip was was $ 168.
My NYC based “foodie” daughter was impressed.
We will go back here for sure.
What more could go wrong at this supposedly high-end restaurant? While we had a drink at the bar prior to our reservation, we were forgotten. At the bar, I traded in my "martini night" martini for a beer and my wife just didn't drink hers - undrinkable! Twenty minutes beyond our reservation time, we hunted down the receptionist to seat us. Our waiter was a delightful guy who couldn't recommend a wine to go with our entrees and had to go back into the kitchen to get an oyster missing from our appetizer - not his fault. Between our duck entree and steak entree only the pear side and the actual steak were properly prepared and tasty. My wife was given a free dessert after an evening of disappointments. Madame must be turning over in her grave! This restaurant is getting by on its previous deserved reputation. We will not be dining here again.
Another wonderful dining experience at Le Yaca. Service was outstanding and the meals and presentation were fantastic.
It was a special birthday dinner for our son in law. We were a party of 4. The table had been set for two. We were shown to our table with menus...only 2 of which had inserts. We waited 10 minutes for someone to take our drink orders, and then my husband went and got them at the bar himself. We couldn’t even get bread for another 15 minutes despite asking every server who past. The food was good but not worth the lack of service. This is the second time in a few months we’ve had this experience. Not sure we will try for # 3.
Excellent, as always. Service was outstanding!! Noise was moderate due to a couple of loud customers.
Had a great time.
Excellent food at a great lunch special price and fine interior decorations.
The food was excellent as it always is. Charles, our regular server , was excellent and always gives the best service. We enjoy our visits very much. We always look forward to our dinners at Le Yaca.
We had a great time thank you Ming for always making our Anniversary special
One of the best dining experiences we can remember. From the comfortable chairs, attentive staff and the excellent food, it was a total pleasure. Quiet and elegant.
Great food and service.
Birthday. Bri was our server and was great. Food was great as always.
Never disappoints. Perfect choice for our anniversary dinner.
We were seated in an intimate room with only 5 other tables for two. There was Christmas music playing subtlety in the back ground and very elegant decorations. And it only got better from there.... our server was phenomenal! She answered all of our questions and made sound recommendations. Everything was delicious (understatement) but you HAVE to get the creme brûlée. The best I have ever had. I highly recommend it.
We have been to this restaurant many time and always the food and the service is great. Prices are a little high but the quality is worth the price.
