Le Village Buffet - Paris Las Vegas
Good Sunday brunch
Only downside--serve yourself beverages, get your own champagne
We had been to this buffet a couple of years ago; unfortunately … this visit was not as good. No bartender was in sight at the bar so we couldn’t even get a glass of wine. Rather disappointing visit and likely will not return.
I feel that the selections for salad was poor. The only thing people really go there for are the crab legs. The food was cold.
Used to be a favorite. This trip to The Village Buffet at the Paris Hotel was very disappointing. The food overall was not as good as previous years. We have always looked forward to dining there when we are in town however this time the food was mediocre at best. The prime rib was tough, the crab legs thin and watery, the other fish and meat offerings bland. What happened to this place!? Even the pastries were nothing special, the macarons were assembled upside down! Not good for a French buffet! I don’t think we’ll be back.
Seems to be running on a budget. No service at table. Coffee creamer equipment broken. Food was not hot at the end of breakfast. Sushi is horrible - shouldn’t be with a Sushi restaurant next door! This was a great buffet 5+ years ago but not any longer.
This buffet keeps going on a downward spiral. The seats don’t feel great, the food quality and selection is below average. The only service they offer is picking up your plate, they no longer give service for coffee/drinks (drinks are self-serve).
Very nice experience, incredible food choice, taste and quality of high top restaurants. Try it.
Worst buffet ever, the food selection was terrible, soda fountain was not working properly
Quality of the food was really sub par
Crab legs were tiny
There was not one item that we enjoyed
Must skip this one
Average overall for a buffet. Food was pretty standard buffet fare. We were there for breakfast. Lighting is quite subdued except for one area with brighter lighting. A bit of a rambling layout but that did give a more intimate feel to the restaurant. We had a reservation but still stood in the regular line, line was not too bad when we arrived but at other times it did look quite busy.
There was a nasty odor in one area of the restaurant, not sure if it was near where the garbage was stored but they need to deal with that, other people noticed it too.
I was really didappointed in this from a major casino proprty. Have been in the past may years ago and it was great. The food was average and other than snow crab legs and prine rib it didnt have anything special. Salad bar was limited. Onelete station was hidden so didnt find till the end. Alot of food was cold. Desserts were good though.
Omg this buffet was absolutely TERRIBLE! We had a bachelorette party of 16 people and all of us thought the food/ service/quality was awful! Don’t eat here... food is tasteless and stale... tables and ambiance was less than mediocre and the service was just ok. Total regrets for choosing this place.
Food was fantastic! When we got there, there was confusion on what line to be in, so we ended up waiting about 10 minutes in a line we didn't have to. To make up for it, the hostess seating us in the VIP section and gave us a free glass of wine. The only negative was the guy sitting next to us that seemed to lack in personal awareness and voice volume - not the restaurants fault though. Overall, very good experience.
it was recommended we make reservations so we did. We arrived at the front desk at 5pm as scheduled and told the person we had reservations. She never said a word except: "Here's your receipt."
We asked if there was a certain place we should sit and she said no, sit anywhere.
So, what was the purpose of the reservation?
The last time we were here, several years ago, we thought the Le Village Buffet was the best we had ever been to which is why we came back. What a disappointment! Where were the distinct regional stations with the blocks and wheels of cheeses, the large selection of cured meats and pate', the distinctly French visuals and vibe.
Now it's just....a buffet; featuring Brussels sprouts and carrots.
When we asked a server where the French food was he said: "There may be some French soup over there."; pointing.
Our disappointment is so overwhelming that we will not return.
Wow, has this buffet gone down in quality...This used to be one of the best buffets in Vegas. Not anymore. Went for brunch yesterday at 10:00. Took the kitchen until about 10:45 to get any brunch items out. Primarily only breakfast items were available. Very limited selection. I've had better food a Golden Corral. So disappointing. $67, the worst money I have ever spent on a brunch. With so many other options in Vegas, I was shocked by the poor quality. This buffet and hotel is showing it's age. There have been no upgrades anywhere since the hotel opened 20 years ago and it clearly shows. Sad....this was one of the great hotels in Vegas!!
We haven’t visited Vegas in 10 years and although the food wasn’t bad, I feel like it wasn’t as good as years before. I was not impressed with the chilled snow crab legs. It was advertised as having them, but thought they would be hot crab legs, so that was disappointing.
No more wait staff to serve drinks. Fetch your own coffee and other beverages. Many employees were laid off by Caesar’s Corp. Any server that survived the cuts is basically bussing tables.
This used to be one of our favorite brunch spots in Vegas.
The selection of food is not the same; expense cuts have impacted this place.
It’s off our list!
It has gone down hill since last time we were there. Carpets are gross and stained the table wobble. You don’t even get a waitress anymore to serve you drinks.
Not vegan friendly! Unless u like salad and
Made reservations here during a family vacation and enjoyed the food and experience overall.
Our brunch experience at Le Village Buffet was very good. There was a huge selection of well prepared food from which to choose. The baked goods were all wonderful.....French bakers equal exquisite pastries. There were also crepes being made to order, omelets as well, sausages, bacon and ham Eggs Benedict and so much more. And you get to enjoy it in a room that is decorated to give you the feeling of eating in a French village.
Come hungry and stay for a while. Enjoy.
I would not return. Food was subpar. Nothing tasty. I got sick after an hour or so. Strange smell.
Great atmosphere of Paris streets, good variety of dessert choices. Selection of fruits was limited.
I had been years before and looked forward to our return visit. I was disappointed in the quality of the food as well as the variety. We had an early morning brunch reservation. The cheese platters looked picked over and were never refilled. T
It used to be good. Now the food selection was limited, with mostly American flavors
My husband and I were visiting from Houston for our 10 year Anniversary and wanted to go to a nice romantic restaurant for breakfast. The food was really good and the bartender was awesome.
This buffet is THE WORST!!! Food selection was pathetic, place was a mess, dessert was a joke. I would say pass this up for something better. We were very disappointed. Not worth the money.
Felt like the food had been out for too long. Disappointed.
Food stations should be closer to guests
Toast was dry by the time I got back to butter it
Good concept (food from different areas of France but hey us closer
Very, very disappointed. The food stations were half full of older, lukewarm food. Seat tops were not maintained. Coffee was empty.
Last time here was great. So we booked for my mother’s 80th. So very disappointed. Won’t be back. The only reason I didn’t give one star for service is because they were very apologetic and brought a nice cheesecake for my mother. But no excuse for the shabby food and stations.
Ive eaten at several buffets and this was probably the worst. Empty platters, minimal choices for vegetables (besides salad) and messes on the stations and in the floor.
Took our children here for a special meal while visiting Las Vegas. The atmosphere was awesome as it felt like eating in a little cafe in France (and yes we have been to and eaten in France). The staff were warm and inviting and the food was delicious. Great experience!
The buffet was highly recommended by daughter-in-law and we are so glad we had the opportunity to experience the delicious food, the ambiance, and friendliness of the staff. We will certainly recommend the buffet to friend going to Vegas.
There was nothing special about this buffet. Limited food options compared to others. The king crab legs were not meaty.
The crab legs were very disappointing. They were very small & were cold. They also appeared to have been frozen so they lacked in flavor. Not happy with that selection and I really looked forward to eating crab legs too. :(
Otherwise everything else was really good. I had a crepe for desert and it was too big. I asked the chef to make a half size one and he couldn’t understand me (or English). Prime rib and roast beef👍🏻
As a thought, it’d be nice if you had a soft serve machine for like ice cream or even sorbet.
We were there for the weekend breakfast. There food offerings were nothing special, which we would have expected for the price charged and the fact that it was a weekend breakfast.
Many of the food items on the line were COLD and that was frustrating.
The omlette station, while the chef was excellent, it was a very long line and only one person working the station. It was frustrating to have to wait so long.
Food quality and choices have gone down hill in the last 2 years. This place used to be our favorite when we travel to Vegas. Sadly, might be the last time we eat here.
I would not recommend as of now. It is just not as good as it used to be. Self serve beverage is not what I was expecting. I have eaten breakfast there several times over the last ten years and I will not be going back.
