Le Village Buffet - Paris Las Vegas
This has to be one of the worst buffets in all of Vegas. We ate there 15 years ago and it was wonderful. Things have changed. The crab was dry and tasteless and the prime rib way undercooked. The coq au vin was just ordinary chicken with a tasteless sauce. There was nothing special here. Where were the basic French dishes? Even the macaroons were dismal. This buffet was mediocre verging on dreadful. I gave the experience a D because we paid half price. At full price it is an F. This is an insult to French cuisine.
We live in Las Vegas and have been going to the Paris buffet since it opened. We went on 3/16/2019 to celebrate my sister’s birthday. However, the food was COLD, the turkey was ‘fatty’ and many of the past selections are gone. But the price is still very high and the quality is gone.
In addition, we had to pay for parking which in the past, was free if you validated your ticket.
Needless to say, we won’t come back.
From the menu I thought you could order à la carte, but at 9am it was buffet-only. Food wasn't very memorable. Made-to-order crêpes were good, but the strawberry filling was lackluster. Main justification for the $20+pp cost was that it was all you can eat. Be sure to get a coupon for 15% off from the Paris Hotel concierge.
Overall, the food and service were great. There was a man pushing around a very disgusting cart when slowly cleaning off tables. He'd park it right next to you and your table. The smell and appearance of the cart was terrible! Get a new cart, or better yet, leave it in the back.
Good selection. Rather American type buffet than French. So if you look for good Croissant, bread, pastries, coffee, ... go elsewhere!
Great variety and selection of breakfast choices. The food was well prepared and presented in an appetizing manner. The service was very good. Would definitely recommend for a breakfast option to satisfy everyone in the family.
Have already recommended Le Village Buffet to friends as we absolutely loved it! Ambiance reminded us as to when we were in Paris!! Just beautiful.
The Eggs Benedict don’t look like much but they are delicious!!! Also make sure to grab a chocolate croissant!
Food quality and variety are very good and the price is reasonable. Booking on OpenTable allows you to bypass the line. I also went to Caesar’s Bacchanal buffet which was very good but not worth twice the cost of Le Village’s offerings.
Food was good, especially the blueberry muffins and croissants. The cook at the omelette station was fantastic. She was friendly and oh so efficient. She was masterful at making about six orders at a time and she did it well. Server was friendly, attentive, and she was hustling around. The drawback was checking in and the hostess was a bit gruff. There is no signage for where those with reservations should enter. I learned from the cashier that if you have a reservation, which I did, you should enter at the VIP entrance. How are people supposed to know this? I wasn't terribly put out because they had just opened and only about 20 people were ahead of me, but I've seen this line before be quite lengthy. They need to address this situation with proper signage.
great food survice and nice people good looking place overall we had fun
Not enough selections.
Prime Rib was dry and no choice of doneness.
We have had too many trips to Vegas in recent years without a trip to our favorite breakfast buffet. The offer we were using this trip did not include Caesar's so we opted to stay at Paris for the first time. This buffet was the main reason for our choice and it did not disappoint. I could watch the crepe chef for hours and the end results are so good. The multitude of breads are just off the chart and I feel sorry for the no carbers. Croissants lighter than air. So many choices plus the French village ambiance, what's not to love.
Overall was wonderful. I have been here a few times. This was the first time coming during the week- I noticed food had run out and many empty bowls and the oatmeal had been sitting awhile. Never had this issue when visiting on a weekend
We have never had cheese crepes before with all the cheese UNMELTED. Perhaps this was intentional but it was not appealing to our family. Eggs Benedict was over spiced. Many other buffet items were lukewarm. Overall we were disappointed.
Had breakfast with my family. Food was AMAZING..the waitress was great. She checked on our table multiple times to make sure we didn’t need anything. we would go for dinner mostly when we go to Vegas but our first time trying breakfast. It’s officially our favorite buffet.
We really enjoyed the food and ambience. But the floor hostess was short and staff at VIP cashier were rude. Cooks at stations were nice
HATED the fact there were dollar bills on food trays. Disgusting!!! Pay your staff accordingly so you don’t make workers look desperate
They had a lot of empty tables reserved for Diamond players and no special needs (handicap) tables, they should treat handicap people as good as a top diamond guest
They charge more at the door than they say online. A lot more. We didn’t actually eat here because of this. We left
Awesome brunch! So many choices, you don’t have to eat the rest of the day! Excellent service!
I liked our hostess but she seemed like she was upset to the rest of our table. She may have had a bad morning. I think that the attitude could have been better. It's a bit much for mimosas about $15. I only had 4 of them. Would have had more but that's a lot for mimosas.
New Years morning, everything was as expected. Been here many times, always happy
The worst buffet I have ever been to in my life. Refuse to go back
service is poor food served cold jot even warm even with reservation they make wait for 25 to get a table for for hadicape person not good
Food was mediocre. The chilled crab legs were fresh but extremely salty. Chicken and mushroom crepe was well made but bland. Overall, the taste of all the food from main dish to dessert were not very good. The service and the price was good compared to other Vegas dinner buffets though.
I went for a breakfast around 9:30 am. The line was relatively short about 15 minutes of wait. Services were nice, but the food selection was really poor. They had multiple dishes of same food like eggs, eggs, and more eggs, and potatoes in every other dishes. There weren’t much to eat when you consider that they are famous for brunches. The best dish I found was gravy and salsa dressing. No kidding.
Their service carts with utensils were so noisy that I had to cover my ears every time they pass near my table.
Overall experience was so unpleasing that I’ll stop going to buffets for a while.
Paid more at the buffet than what their web site advertised.
Went for breakfast. Great variety of breakfast items. Omelette station, craved ham, chorizo sausage, etc. Lots of pastries & sweets. It was quiet, could easily talk w/my parents (who are both hard of hearing).
Long waits at buffet lines. Food bland and very average. Crab legs extremely salty - couldnt eat.
Went for Christmas dinner with the family, part of the reason we choose them is they took reservations. We went at 3, although the atmosphere was cute that’s where it ended. The tables were sticky , I had to ask for a rag to wipe it down myself. The food was either cold or over cooked , staff not attentive either. Overall it was a huge disappointment , especially considering what they charged. I would stay away!
Overrated I say for the price. Not really a lot of food choices, none of the labels matched the food dishes on buffet so you really didn't know what you were getting. Tables were pushed so close together and with more chairs for the table...uncomfortable. No bar ordering was disappointing. Making reservation on open table did skip us waiting in horrible line, so do recommend that. But not a great experience for our out of town family on Christmas.
Charged extra for Christmas eve but the food at 6pm was like left over from morning. The plate still show "bagel", cream cheese. Selections were poor, presentation was horrible. It was worse than hometown buffet.
Not so good food
I was disappointed in the food quality even though I know what to expect with buffet dining. The prime rib was flavorless and dry....way overcooked, shrimp were soggy and salty, and the deserts tasteless. I stuck to vegetables which were good. I like the atmosphere and service was good just really disappointed in the food. BTW I have been here 3 times before and it used to be much better.
Buffet has really become run down. They simply don’t bother to maintain the physical aspects from the broken down tables to dirty floors.
Unlimited crab legs, great meat options and sides, but the most notable item was the soft serve ice cream. The best I've ever had in my life.
Had a lovely dinner experience that included 2 glasses of wine and really enjoyed every moment. The food and desserts were delicious although I did want a bit more variety in the food selections. Besides that I’d give the overall experience still 5 stars because the crab legs, crepes , Mac n cheese, potatoes and all the good stuff was truly delicious. You can definitely see quality in the food served. Highly recommend !!
It's Great!, a bargain, if you do buffet of buffet deal, and use open table for reservations.
