My husband and I were on vacation from New Jersey, this was one of the most beautiful restaurants we have been to from the exceptional food to the utmost fantastic service, the owners were the most handsome and refined gentlemen. The wine list was amazing with a sommelier on staff (from Philadelphia 🤗) to guide us to the perfect wine pairing. I highly recommend everyone to visit this magical establishment.

Fantastic experience overall. It is worth going out of your way or breaking other plans just to go here. The food is unique, memorable, and packed with flavour. The lobster ravioli in particular was a star of the meal. The service is effortless, unobtrusive and supremely professional. The ambiance is something you just have to experience for yourself - but there’s a great sensation available from dining outside under the treetops with the night sky above you; beautiful, artistic lighting all around you, and live music filling the air from an amazing one-man band. The owner Tony came around to check on every guest personally - something which is entirely unnecessary for a place with such a history and reputation - but was a very pleasant surprise.

Food was excellent. I tried an Australian White Fish that was very tasty. My husband had the Hanger Steak with Peppercorn Sauce. He said it was so tender and the sauce was perfect. Appetizers were great, too! I totally will be back.

Unpleasant experience with seating I specifically requested patio seating and was told that I didn’t by the rudest maitre d ever..... he told me that’s what happens when you make a last minute reservation.. excuse me, but I made the reservation 4 weeks ahead. Food was wonderful and service by the wait staff great but either open table screwed up or the restaurant uses them as an excuse to seat whoever they want wherever they want. I won’t go back.

Well trained Staff, great French food ...my wife and I had the duck and veal ...made for a memorable dining experience! We definitely will be back.

What a perfect place to celebrate! Lunch on the patio is so special. We thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom soup, beet salad, salmon and branzino. All were excellent. The star of the afternoon were the Grand Marnier soufflés. Heavenly! We also love the peace and quiet on the patio...no TVs or loud music. How novel!

This is my favorite restaurant in Palm Springs for the quality and variety of the food and the ambiance. The staff are both knowledgeable and friendly.

Always love Le Vallauris! The dining room and adjacent patio dining area are elegant and inviting. The service is top notch and the sommelier is knowledgeable and helpful. There is a prix fixe menu and daily chalkboard selections. You will not be disappointed with either the food or atmosphere at this gem in Palm Springs, CA.

We are visiting Palm Springs and this sounded like a great place. We had the prix fixe dinners and they were delicious. Our waiter helped us choose appropriate wines and the atmosphere and food and service were all perfect.

Well worth it

I wanted to take my wife out for her birthday. Friends recommend Le Vallauris. This was one of those rare occasions when as soon as we walked into the restaurant I knew it would be special. The service was impeccable and traversed all levels of the staff. The recommendations by our waiter were spot on and the food was superb! Treat yourself and try this restaurant.

My wife and I enjoyed a date night here recently and it didn’t disappoint. We sat at an outside table, which is the only way to go. The courtyard is enclosed, so it doesn’t get too cold or windy. The trees in the courtyard give the outdoor ambiance. There is little pretense in the chalkboard menus dropped on an easel in front of your table by the silver haired, well groomed waitstaff.

As for the food, we shared chicken pate and a Caesar salad. The salad was decent, but the pate was phenomenal. It’s a country style pate, so a little chunkier than a typical pate. My wife had the lobster, which she really enjoyed and was kind enough to share a bite or two with me. I had the veal filet, recommended by our waiter. It is not something I would typically order, but thought it was fantastic.

Finally, the crowd in the restaurant was a great mix of couples, families and groups of friends of all ages. Unless you are looking for a dark, romantic restaurant, I would recommend Le Vallairus for any occasion.

This place is truly a gem. Nice and quaint. The menu is presented French style on an easel. EVERYTHING tastes amazing! A nice personal touch is that the owner of 44 years come around to each table of dinner guest to greet them and see how their dinner is going. I will definitely come back and would recommend.

We headed straight to Le Vallauris after flying from Seattle to Burbank and then driving tonPalm Springs for a birthday party weekend. We have dined at Le Vallauris a number of times for both lunch and dinner and have always been pleased with the whole experience. We ordered the lunch special and was able to substitute the sea bass for the octopus entree and it was excellent. I had the soufflé for dessert which was truly the best I have ever had. The lunch special is a great value! Vallauris is our must go to restaurant every time we visit Palm Springs.

Even though we had asked for a patio table and we arrived 15 minutes early and were willing to wait, we were seated in an overflow room with 4 other couples. I wondered if it was because we had used Open Table. The patio is where all the ambiance is. Food, though, was outstanding and service very good.

The restaurant and food is outdated. The service was great but the food was just okay. I wouldn't eat here again for the price I paid.

We've thoroughly enjoy our many yearly visits to the restaurant.

La Vallauris is outstanding as usual. Food quality, service and ambience are best in Palm Springs. I’m always surprised by my wine tab which sneaks up on you.

My fish was slightly over cooked and eggplant purée on bottom tasted bland/canned. I have mixed feelings.

From start to finish this was an amazing dining experience. The patio was beautiful. The staff was professional and very attentive to our needs. The cocktails were well made and the wine list extensive and reasonable. The food was the high point of a truly outstanding dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is the quintessential date/special occasion place to dine. The ambience,the service, and the food the are always top notch! We always feel special when dining here!

Fabulous food in a spectacular setting.

Once again Le Vallauris nailed it! We were there (again) last Sunday for Easter Brunch. The charred beef filet was cooked to perfection. A nice bottle of Pinot complimented our brunch. As always the staff is amazing. A special shout out to James, one of the best servers in Palm Springs. You know you're at the right place when my date is handed her favorite wine before she even sits down. Five stars. Excellent!

Absolutely a restaurant to return to regularly for excellent ambience, food and service. We went for Sunday brunch and it was full; yet you did not feel rushed and the wait staff were helpful, but not over solicitous. Steak tartare was freshly prepared and well seasoned. Puppy can come on the patio.
