I would highly recommend this restaurant for a truly exceptional experience.
Best dining experience ever! The host and waiters were extremely personable and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. The food was incredibly delicious. The setting was romantic. Live music in the background added to the lovely atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for a better date night out with my girl.
Exceptional service, and food quality. The taste and blend of flavors is excellent. Its a beautiful outdoor dinning experience under the trees and lights of the evening on the patio.
Beautiful setting in quiet area of Palm Springs. Service was fantastic and Food excellent. Owner was visiting with all tables to make sure we were having a great experience and we did!
Service was amazing, food delicious and atmosphere beautiful!!
Love Love Love this restaurant! It is such a uniquely Palm Springs experience. Dining under a lighted canopy of tree branches, live music wafting in from the bar, exquisite food, charming owners who graciously welcome you; close your eyes and you are transported into the Palm Springs of yore, with elegance and just a whisper of Old Hollywood glamour.
We enjoyed dinner at Le Vallauris very much. The ambiance was lovely sitting outside under a large tree with white lights decorating the branches. The service was attentive without being overly present. The food was wonderful. I had duck and Sheryl had quail. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Palm Springs.
The ambiance was great, but the service was terrible. The food was not great either. It lacked salt and the presentation was horrendous. The spinach (served with veal) was inedible. I’m a huge fan of cocktails and I ordered a mule, like I always do if it’s on the cocktail menu. I had two sips and that was it. I don’t even think they had ginger beer in there.
What I remember the most was the poor, poor service. So disappointed.
Exceptional Food, ambiance, wine, lovely outdoor patio area with 7 big trees (lit up at night with lights), great service - make this an excellent place to celebrate an anniversary or cozy romantic dinner. Extensive menu of unusual dishes. Try veal, fish, lobster ravioli, or the lamb chops- with an appetizer of chilled asparagus & quail eggs or one of their amazing salads. The business owners of this restaurant are a true class act.
One of our favorite restaurants. The Lobster Ravioli is amazing! The duck, filet & lamb chops are delicious. If you save room, try the soufflé.
Service is A+.
Hands down best meal I have ever had. We each chose the chef’s tasting menu and every course was a resounding “wow!” To top it off, the ambience and outdoor patio are the most beautiful spot to dine in, and the service was impeccable.
We were in palm springs for the bnp Paribas tennis tournament and like to experience unique restaurants. We were treated to outstanding service, food pairings with wine, great ambiance, and superb attention. Would recommend for a wonderful total experience!
Wonderful Brunch, great food and excellent services!
We were very impressed at how they accommodated our special requests!
This is the best restaurant in Palm Springs. Food is excellent, ambience is too.
Paul and Omar the owners make you feel at home with their warm and friendly service. They are all the time there.
Sunday brunch is great or any ocasion, Le Vallauris with out a doubt it is the b st place in Wonderful Palm Springs.... Don’t leave PS wiouth treating yourself like a royalty....
I should go there more often..... I guess I need a date!!!
My husband and I shared the most wonderful evening at this beautiful restaurant. The setting is lovely and the service is warm and efficient. The food was just delicious, and the bonus was the amazing music. Highly recommended!
Le Vallauris is our favorite restaurant in Palm Springs, and we've never been disappointed. We think it's the best, and highly recommend it.
The restaurant was fully booked, cocktails in the bar area, while waiting for the table, the bar tender and server were very friendly and the drink was great. The greeter came to us and said that this guy would seat us at our table, they had a slight argument over if the table was ready or not, we were seated at a table that faced a 2 foot tree trunk as our view. I asked my husband if he wanted me to ask for another table, he declined, not wanting to be difficult. Our assigned waiter (Mark) was slow in getting to our table, brought our menu's, was not friendly or welcoming, acted like his was too busy to be nice. . We chose the two prix fix menu's, $63 (4 course, and $93 six course). We also ordered a nice bottle of Chardonnay wine, we requested a ice bucket for the wine, our waiter never brought it to the table, we asked other staff, who brought it. Many other staff visited our table, however our waiter was a no show for pretty much the rest of the night. This was the second time we have been to dinner at this restaurant, both visits we were left with reservation. The food was better than most, however the lack of service for the experience, really was unacceptable. I would have to really consider, for the money, if I would return. I reluctantly left just less than 15% gratuity, but really wanted to leave less.
Service was very disappointing. After we were seated, in a room with little ambience, it took a long time before we saw our waiter. A white board on an easel was put in front of our table with the menu hand written on with a marker. 15-20 minutes later our waiter asked what we would like to order without every explaining the menu. We were never offered a wine list or told about the option to order a soufflé. So many missed opportunities for the restaurant to increase the bill and provide a satisfying experience for us. Our food was average but not exciting. While we were walking out we did see what looked like a beautiful patio for dining but once again we were never asked our preference.
Love this place. Every time we are in Palm Springs we eat here. The food is wonderful.
I had made a reservation and then called restaurant to request outdoor donning I was told no problem. When we arrived he told me that he could not seat us there as it was reserved. I reminded him that I reserved he said it could not be done. One of the best things about this reastaira t is the patio donning. Since this was our 21st anniversary and bd celebration we were very disappointed. Our server Lane was exceptional and made up for our disappointment
Reunion-it was fine
We celebrated a girls-day-out. The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Delicious food and wonderful ambiance. Highly recommend.
Le Vallauris is the finest restaurant in town. Gorgeous setting, fabulous food and attentive service. Always feel wonderfully spoilt.
One of our favorite places in Palm Springs. Everything is wonderful.
Everything about this place was great, not cheap, but worth it
We have been coming to the restaurant since 1982 and it has never disappointed. Mike and Eula Dean.
We thought the outdoor patio under the twinkling lights of the giant ficus trees was the perfect spot for a celebratory meal. All the dishes were in the best French tradition of subtle flavors carefully blended for optimum effect. The service was prompt. All the experienced staff were friendly and genial without being intrusive. We had the one of the prix fixe dinners and thought it was an extremely good value. Couldn't have been a better experience.
We loved our dinner! Great service, great menu, quiet table on the garden area. Loved it!
We always come here when we’re in Palm Springs and every time, it’s been fantastic. No where else quite like it, and a lovely way to spend an evening!
The restaurant being a little far from our home in La Quinta we had not had the opportunity to dine there before but give we were celebrating our 46TH anniversary we thought it appropriate to dine at what many consider to be the best restaurant in the Valley, we were not disappointed. From our pre - dinner drink at the bar we knew we were in for a treat. Our bartender was not only very engaging he made one the best martinis. The Maitre D seated at beautiful well located table in the garden, highly recommended, we were introduced to our Captain/Waiter who conversed in French with my wife, I guess so they could tell secrets. Our Captain was very helpful in guiding us through the mere and wine list with some great customizations when necessary. The food was outstanding form it’s staging to its quality and taste and went very well with a $240 Burgundy, after all it was our anniversary. During the meal the owner came by and introduced himself, he just happens to be from Belgium as is my wife so the greeting made for some nice exchange. All in all a great evening with great food, great ambience and great service. I highly recommend Vallauris for anyone looking for a wonderful experience. And yes it is the number one restaurant in the Valley.
Just perfect! This is a special occasion place for us and they never disappoint. The food, ambience and service is exceptional. Thank you for another memorable experience!
We used to call this restaurant our favorite, but this evening was disappointing. The poor service was the most surprising, but the limited choice of non-seafood entrees was unacceptable.
Le Vallauris was delightful as always. The ambiance of the outdoor dining is terrific and the food is well prepared and timely. The escargot and blue cheese stuffed pear were outstanding.
We need to add LV to our regular Palm Springs rotation
Very attentive staff. Excellent choices of menu items as well as fixed price menu............expensive but well worth the price. Food was absolutely superb and the service was impeccable. Decor in restaurant was excellent and the open air dining was fantastic. All in all a great experience.
Fabulous! Charming staff, great food. Lovely tree filled courtyard. Request outdoor seating!
The service and food were excellent . My friend thoroughly enjoyed her birthday luncheon.
First rate in every way. We were celebrating anniversary. Very romantic setting in courtyard. Food excellent. Service outstanding. Very professional without being stuffy. Enjoyed the pianist/singer in the lounge. Will be back.
This is one of the loveliest restaurants anywhere. The patio with huge ficus trees is magical. We ordered the fixed price menu for four and everything was delicious! Our server, Lane, was excellent and made the evening even more enjoyable.
Excellent food and ambiance.
Veal chop special was fabulous as was the sea bass.
Will return next trip to Palm Springs!
