Champagne brunch is real treat here where they greet you by name seat. You in lovely spot under the trees and pour the delicious champagne - from Oregon - who knew!
Food and ambiance wonderful and service with a smile. As a European visitor who enjoys Food the style of French cuisine with American style gets full marks. Portions generous and everything looks good as well a# tastes good.
Food, staff and atmosphere were all fabulous. We will certainly return. I would highly recommend this for special occasions.
The food was outstanding, our waiter was funny and engaging. The location was great, the patio was closed due to rain but I would definitely go back.
Great food and a wonderful setting!!
Beautiful setting under the lights
Beautiful setting, wonderful service, delicious food. Go!
Fabulous in every way. Thanksgiving dinner was the best I have ever had.
Beautiful Thanksgiving meal, our true complements to the whole kitchen staff! Everything was perfect. When we first arrived we got put at a table that was less than satisfactory and we asked them to move us and they put us at a lovely table by the fireplace, great night!.
We had booked Thanksgiving dinner at Le Vallauris for ourselves and our houseguest about a month in advance - Le Vallauris is an old favorite of ours and we eat dinner there several times each winter, often bringing along houseguests, and it’s always a hit. , especially dining in the central patio under the magnificent ficus trees.
Of course, this year, the cold and wet weather meant that the patio could not be used, so the restaurant management had to fit all Thanksgiving dinner guests into any inside space they could find. In our case (5:00 pm reservation), we were squeezed into a table in the cocktail bar, which had been filled with tables and chairs to accommodate overflow dinner guests. Our table was right against the bar itself, opposite the door to the restaurant entry and right next to everyone’s path of travel. Between the cold draft we felt each time the restaurant’s front door was opened, the occasional bump from a passerby and the very tight seating arrangement, it wasn’t ideal - probably the worst table in the restaurant that cold and wet evening. Our meals, however, were top-notch, as always. We promised our houseguest that we’d bring her back to Le Vallauris when we could get a table in the patio and enjoy the full Le Vallauris experience.
Thanksgiving dinner with limited menu. The turkey was way too salty but all else was fine. Think I prefer the regular daily menu.
Rain forced everything inside but the professional staff responded with aplomb. The meal was perfect, excellent wine pairing, c’etait tout comme il faut”
Despite cold, rainy weather that required patio reservations to be reseated inside, the servers and kitchen staff performed flawlessly and navigated skillfully around their Thanksgiving guests. All this done with professionalism and a sense of humor.
Our Server, Christine, was so lovely and professional and helpful . We were there for a birthday celebration and Laurent made us a special birthday cake, which was, according to my nephew "the best cake I ever had".
totally delightful, even in the rain!!
This is French haute cuisine at its best. Big selection and memorable flavors. A great place for special occasions.
We enjoyed greatly the beautifully lit outside patio garden, which is a superb setting! The menu choices were prolific as were the specials of the evening, which the four of us enjoyed. We especially liked our waiter "Steve", his expertise and help with the menu selections. We did order based on his suggestions, which were spot on. When we return, we definitely will ask for the outside patio. And Steve!
Great food and drinks
This was our first visit to Le Vallauris and all I can say is "Spectacular". Everything was absolutely as you would expect for a fine dinner - special occasion or not. We really enjoyed our time there and I would have to comment that it may have been the finest meal that we have had within the continental United States.
Fine dining restaurant. High prices, but good quality gourmet food.
Wine selection VERY expensive. No moderate choices. This fact will discourage us from returning.
Beautiful restaurant with impeccable service and creative yet superb menu. Will definitely return for another dining experience, although, as expected, it is pricey.
Outstanding Palm Springs restaurant. Soothing ambiance, Refined service. Tuxedo suited staff, varied menu, Great food. Reasonable prices. A real PS oldie, nothing like it remains.
Excellent! Service and food presentation is a food of art. This one is a must do for Lunch,Sunday Brunch, or dinner! Waiters are at your service!
Steve is the Best waiter. Kind, attentive and affable.
Owner is very considerate of his guests. He personally greets each guest.
The patio is lovely and the food is excellent l
Le Vallauris continues to be on of our favorite restaurants in the desert?
From the owner greeting us to the wait staff - it is all perfect!
As always they never disappoint!
Always one of my Favorite PS Restaurants! If you're in PS you must give it a try!
Finest Restaurant in the Desert
Love this restaurant - took my aunt and uncle for lunch and they are going to bring their friends.
Hello and thank you for your review. Reading your comment and seeing that you have awarded only one star it seems like you meant to award 5 star rating ? We are very happy that you had a great experience at Le Vallauris. Sincerely Omar
Gracious host and wait staff. Classic romantic feel. Wonderful atmosphere. Amazing wine list. We made a very late, last minute reservation yet we were treated graciously and were not rushed. Food was very very good. Will definitely go back on our next Palm Springs visit.
Underwhelming.. looks very old fashioned and food was solid but not extra special. Service great. Seriously in need of an update
The entire staff takes care of you and the food was as good if not better as any I’ve had in Paris or the French countryside. You leave full but not stuffed. And the soufflé was the best I’ve ever had including the one we had at the Jules Verne on the Eiffel Tower.
This has to be the best experience you can have for a meal in the desert, especially for lunch on Sunday.
Our first experience! The bar area is a fabulous throwback, as was the trio playing music at just the right level. Next time we go we want to come early and have our first cocktail at the bar. Outdoor dining twinkle lights hanging from huge trunk trees - a splendor. Waiter 5 star. Delicious French entrees. French baker personalized fresh baked apple tart.
Good food and service. The outdoor patio looked fantastic, but we could only get a table inside, which felt a bit stuffy. Overall, a good French restaurant.
Always great food. A wide choice of dishes and outstanding desserts. Service is always outstanding. A bit pricy but worth the cost.
An amazing outdoor ambience under the trees
Always great French flair food....and impeccable service.
A little pricey...so it might be for a special occasion.
Le Vallauris is our favorite restaurant in the desert. We come twice a year. Mainly because of the personal, kind treatment by the handsome and capable Frenchmen! But not only that...the tranquil terrace shaded by huge trees, the proper white tablecloths and silverware...
The cuisine is superb. Rare .Scottish salmon with carrots, green beans in a honey lemon and green peppercorn sauce. Velvety beet gazpacho with basil shreds. Blue crab stack with corn on top, asparagus, watercress and a fan of ripe avocado with a sort of mayonnaise, homemade. Trio of sorbets, coconut, pear, mango, delicious. Berries with Grand Marnier on the side.
Glass of .Ferrari-Carano 2015 Merlot, and Bruliam Sonoma 2016 Pinot Noir, San Giacomo vineyard, excellent.
As usual, attentive service by Raymond and the team.
See you in March 2020!
Wine list always extraordinarily highly priced.
Exceptional quality meal and service. Blue crab and lobster ravioli were epic. Both very happy on anniversary!
