   The food was uniformly excellent. I particularly recommend the veal filet. Grand Marnier souflee is delicious. Our waiter Edgar was superb. Both knowledgeable and charming. A wonderful way to celebrate my wife's 75th birthday!

   Amazing ambiance, food was honestly one of the best meals I have had. My girlfriend and I had the hamachi tartare and escargot as the appetizers, both amazing, as well as the lamb and veal for entree. The Lamb had so much flavor, especially with the veggies that came with it, and the veal was insanely tender but full of flavor. We finished off our dinner with a creme brûlée, and I also had a Le Vallauris Manhattan to go with my meal. Very strong drink. My bill was about $230 with tip. Could not have asked for a better birthday dinner.

   Great food. Great ambiance. Good service. We got the rack of lamb and quail. Both were very good. The crème brûlée was delicious as well. Definitely worth a visit.

   Lovely garden courtyard setting under the lit up trees, pacing was a little slow for the appetizers to come out but the staff was very attentive. Food was wonderful but they were out of several of that night’s specials. Restaurant is good for a special occasion or romantic evening.

    Very expensive with a fantastic ambiance, but Very Pricey. The souffle was outstanding, escargot good, soup decent to, but pate was disappointing. Drinks are crazy expensive at $24 IMHO, the duck was very good and the lobster so so. Service was good until the end when we waited a long time, about 15 minutes for a check, then another waiter came to have us pay our bill who was rude, rude, which put a damper on a $350 dinner with tip.

    Did the Tasting Menu, and it was very good. My only issue is maybe it was served a little too fast, but other than that, Great Meal, Loved the Tasting Menu, Great Company and sat outside in the lovely courtyard.

    We had not been to this excellent restaurant since the ownership change and were happy to see it that it was as good,if not better,than before. The chef came by our table to engage us and be sure we enjoyed everything. Class act from start to sumptuous finish.

    Absolutely amazing. Our first time here. It’s always been on our list and we made it. Escargot, lobster ravioli, dover sole and soufflé. What a night ! Best wine list in the desert.

    This was our third visit and first disappointment after two wonderful experiences. From $6 valet to park in open spots, to $16 for dessert berries (refunded) from what was mentioned as if it would be complimentary (“we like to do something for our guests who are having birthdays”, after we initially declined dessert), this was all very overpriced, even allowing for the gorgeous movie set type setting. In my previous visits, I had delicious chicken and lamb chop meals. My white fish on this visit was astonishingly bland. I’m guessing that I got 4 to 5 ounces of tender fish for the $41. But it wasn’t seasoned! No gourmet flavours in this meal! They might as well have used a canned cream of mushroom soup! I also received exactly one canned anchovy in my $19 Caesar salad, although they brought more when I pointed this out. I don’t know if the regular chef was off. But this wasn’t close to value for money and the food was remarkably ordinary. I don’t believe in one strike and you’re out. But I won’t be rushing back here on my next visit.

    We looked for a high end restaurant to celebrate a birthday with a special dinner. We spoke to 2 people at this establishment by telephone and were both assured that a special meal could be created by the chef based on what he found at the market that day. We were excited. We arrived at the restaurant only to find the menu was on a handwritten board that was difficult to decipher but the final result was that there was little to no selection for vegetarians. We asked if we could alter other dishes, ie. could we have the grilled cheese without the ham but were told that these were premade and could not be changed. That was true for several other dishes listed as well. Fine dining with premade dishes? There was no attempt to offer us anything other than a stuffed pear and the chef’s vegetable plate. My husband had the stuffed pear and a clump of ratatouille, not exactly inspired. I had the vegetable plate which was simply the vegetable bits from other dishes put on a plate. A clump of ratatouille, a few fingerling potatoes, 3 horrible raviolis, and a few carrots. The also added a clump of stewed spinach and charged an extra 7 dollars for it. None of it had any flavour or thought put in to it. It was a complete disappointment and we would never dine here again. I cannot recommend it to anyone; they seem to specialize in pretensions and not much else. Not a fine dining experience after we tried so hard to make sure it would be. Originally we were told if the chef had ingredients to make a crepe, that would be possible. On the night, we were told the kitchen did not even have a crepe pan. The next night, my husband made us all a delicious asparagus crepe using a large regular frying pan. A restaurant who holds their clientele in disdain will not long have clientele.

    We had a birthday party at Le Valauris for 10. They were a dream to work with in planning the event. We had excellent service with incredible food. Very innovative in how the food was plated. Very enjoyable evening. Definitely one of my Palm Springs favs.

    Outstanding service and atmosphere and the food was amazing. We really appreciated the pacing of the courses, allowing time to enjoy the food as well as relax in between courses. No rush, no pressure; time to savor our food, enjoy conversation and admire the beautiful setting, Made for a perfect birthday celebration! Can't wait to go back in the evening when the trees on the patio are lit up.

    Truly authentic French experience. Diverse menu, impeccable service and beautiful ambiance. The ambiance is so amazing under the tree canopy! Stuffed Pear Roquefort and grilled marinated quail with figs for apps. Mona enjoyed the salmon with a lovely sweet savory glaze, and I had the best Chilean sea bass of my life!

    We’ve been going to Le Vallauris for years and sadly Soho House has ruined this fine institution. Our martinis were undrinkable and our white wine was warm. This is because no employees are allowed to taste the drinks—including the bartender and the sommelier. That is ridiculous and just as stupid as a chef not being allowed to taste the food. Most of the employees who had been there for many years are no longer there and those that remain must be unhappy. The employees were a big part of what made Le Vallauris special. We miss you Willy!
