This is definitely one of our “go to” places when we are celebrating a special event or when we want to provide a special treat to visitors.
One of our favorite Tucson fine dining restaurants for our special occasions. Food, service and atmosphere are all top notch.
Excellent food and service. As it was a Sunday evening, few patrons were there. We will definitely return!
I love this place! Best little French restaurant I’ve ever been to. I can’t wait for my husband and I to have another date night here.
A favorite restaurant that had not changed because of the pandemic. Excellent food and very attentive, but not overbearing service staff.
Both entrees, steak frites and beef Wellington were done perfectly, well season and the meats were tender. Can’t wait to go back and try several other options that looked great!
Le Rendevous is back and just as good as ever. This is the go-to spot for a great night out in Tucson.
A genuine French restaurant with fairly pricey dishes. It's tasty, but be ready with your credit card.
Solid Tucson Favorite - We often go to Le Rendez-vous with friends when we want a dependably nice meal and a Grand Marnier souffle. We prefer the dining room, which has the feel of a country restaurant rather than the bistro area, but both are fine. The French dishes, such as onion soup, mussels, and pepper steak are reliably good, but tonight we tried the shrimp risotto special, veal appetizers, and salads. Our server did a nice job, the drinks were great, and the food was quite nice. We will be back (again).
This is a true French restaurant in the desert of Arizona, no less! The food is always delicious, the wine selections excellent, the ambiance and service is perfect. We hope to dine here for many more years to come, thank you Gordon and team!
As always, excellent food and excellent service! This restaurant is a Tucson gem!!!
So happy that LRV is open for indoor dining. Still our favorite restaurant since moving to Tucson 15 years ago. The Escargots are a great starter. We had the Chateaubriand for 2 - excellent. Though, my all time favorite is Canard Montmorency! Have the Grand Marnier to end a great dinner. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Eric, our server, was spot on. Definitely give LRV a try and relax to a great dinner.
If you are looking for great French food; this is clearly Tucson's best.... Not long on ambiance; but, the service is attentive and friendly. Don't expect to be "in and out" fast, take your time and enjoy their great food and drinks....
So glad we can sit down and eat here again. Food even better than I remembered it. Can’t wait to go again.
We've been patronizing LR for 5 years; they never disappoint! My wife and I ate at LR on Nov. 4, 2020 for dinner. For pre dinner starters we had the pear salad and escargot; both were excellent. For dinner, my wife had the scallops and I had the duck in kirsch sauce--both absolutely delicious. LR is a solid 4+ restaurant and we highly recommend it. I have also left a Yelp review.
We are so happy Le Rendezvous is back! Always a great night; terrific menu; great service. Our favorite night out in Tucson.
Our french onio soup was sort of coolish and average. My dish of duck had to be sent back to the kitchen because the food was not hot.he service was slow even though there were few customers. somewhat disappoi.nting.It was quiet so we could converse.Dessert,a small pastry for $10 was not worth it.
Best French restaurant in town and one of the best restaurants in Tucson, period! Highly recommended for special occasions and everyday dining. Chateau Briand and Beef Wellington are spectacular as are the fish preparations. Don't forget the Gran Marnier soufflé for desert
Never tried French food and was very nicely surprised that it was so so delicious. Everything we tried, which was a lot, was fantastic and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back!
Lovely, as usual. Excellent service, food very good. Very roomy and cautious about pandemic.
Best French restaurant in Tucson. Always good and the staff is wonderful.
The truly French menu is executed to perfection. Service is professional, ambiance pleasant, although if many tables are full it can be a bit noisy.
Sea bass was amazing.
Great as always! Wonderful food and the service was even better.
I got engaged and made my reservation a month before was able to pick out my table . The food is amazing and the staff was very attentive to my and my partner every need . Will be going back soon love this gem . Thank you for making my special day even more special.
We have attend Le Rendez-vous 5 or 6 times over the past 10 years or so, usually for special occasions. We have always looked forward to attending since our pervious experiences were always very good. This visit was a disappointment. We both had Beef Wellington, one of our favorites and usually very good. This time while the meat was tender, it did not have much favor and was over cooked. Our favorite dessert, the soufflé, was also rather bland. The service was lackluster and not what you would expect for the expense of the place. Finally, although I had indicated this was our anniversary when I made the reservation, no one at the restaurant made any acknowledgement of the fact. We always have had high expectations for Le Rendez-vous in the past and they have usually been met. This time however, we very pretty disappointed. I hope this was just an off night, although it will probably be a while before we return to see if it was.
Our third time at LeRendez-vous in the past two months. We have obviously enjoyed each time. We were in Bistro first and the last two times were in dining area. For a full meal we enjoyed dining room but are looking forward to going back with friends for drinks and small plates in Bistro. Great food, great service!
Always a good experience. Introducing visitors to the restaurant
What an amazing lunch we had in the dining room at Le Rendez-vous yesterday. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was great, the ambiance was lovely and we’ll certainly return in the near future.
Our wait staff was so attentive and just generally excellent. Think the waiter was Jerard and sorry but cannot remember the waitress' name... but she was terrific, caring and made sure everything was good, as did Jerard. (Hope I spelled his name correctly.)
Thanks Barbra for your great review and hope to have you again soon. And, yes, Jared is a great server. :)
This was a wonderful experience, the food was so delicious and the service was very attentive. I love when I experience a restaurant for the first time, and I am delighted and can't wait to go back.
Our evening was a success! With so many delectable items to choose from it had us guessing. I ordered the crab and vegetable stuffed shrimp. The crab taste was fresh and wonderful. My date ordered the grilled scallops. He said they were good. We then split the chocolate/cherry cake. Glad we split it because it was rich and delicious. We'll definitely go there again...and not wait for a special occasion!
Thank you for your helpful review, happy to hear you enjoyed your choices! Looking forward to having you have again soon!
We recently had a lovely evening at Le Rendez-vous, with perfectly prepared Chateaubriand and of course a wonderful Gran Marnier souffle! We enjoy going to the restaurant on a weeknight as it is usually not as busy, which means a quieter environment and excellent service.
Absolutely outstanding! Will definitely be returning many, many more times!
The food was very good but I'm not sure it was worth the expense, especially considering the cramped seating.
Food and service very good! Noise level way too high in the main dining room. Will try the more informal bar area next time.
If you are looking for excellent French Cuisine and a pleasant ambiance, this is the best in Tucson!!!
The food and service was impeccable. Could not have been better.
This was a delightful experience - a small intimate restaurant, on the edge of town, serving very high quality French dishes (and on Valentine's Day too! ). One of the great innovations, especially for those of us whose primary culinary interest is taste above quantity, was the series of "small plates" enabling a multitude of "tastings" without volume. We peppered our table with a whole variety and had a virtual "tapas" meal French style. The number and variety was excellent. Thus we ranged through Oysters on the half shell to mussels in white wine and cream, roasted beets au chevre, mini-wellington with truffle demi and duck confit dijonaise. Back this up with wonderful wines (Loire Valley sauvignon blanc and a rich Bordeau) followed by espresso and Cointreau, a charming server, along with the one you love and you have the perfect dining evening.
Too small and few Scallops for the price. The wrong meal first showed up and so, my husband and I couldn’t eat at the same time.
