It was our 49th Wedding Anniversary. Anthony’s attention to detail always pays off. We absolutely love the atmosphere & ambiance of Le Relais. It is our favorite restaurant in Louisville. The food is outstanding & drinks are perfection.

Let me start off with saying Le Relais is one of our favorite restaurants. Unfortynately, we've had 2 bad experiences when ordering the Salmon. Both occasions we had 2 ppl in our party order the Salmon. Each time one plate of Salmon was cooked through and our other guest had undercooked (raw in the middle) Salmon. Staff was very professional taking the plate back to kitchen and chef cooked a new fillet to perfection!

If not for the 2 Salmon experiences I would give the food 5 stars!

Another excellent meal at one of our favorite restaurants in Louisville. Both of our entrees were terrific (trout for her and scallops for me). The service is consistently good. You won’t be disappointed.

We love Le Relais but it had been a while since we dined there - it was "pre-Covid". We love the ambience, the service is always great, and the food is top notch. We love how engaged the owner (Anthony) is in all aspects of the experience. We always ask him to recommend a bottle of french wine, which he gladly does, and that is a great treat. Le Relais is an old school dining experience, which is a good thing - glad to see they are continuing to thrive. We will try to come back more often. I would also comment that their Covid precautions were very good - everyone was courteous, the workers wore masks, they had hand sanitizer available, and the tables were appropriately spaced.

Best Valentines Day ever for both of us.

My husband always surprises me for special occasions. The special occasion was Valentines. I was shock to know there was a restaurant on the property of the Bowman field. It was cool to be able to see the runways. The weather was bad so we didn’t get to see planes land and take off but we will definitely be back. The food and drinks were excellent. Small place but very romantic.

As in the past, never a disappointing visit. Everything about here is wonderful, the staff, the food, everything! The scallops and how they are served are probably one of my favorite ever. The salmon, you can’t go wrong!

We have enjoyed dinning at Le Relais fir many years. Always excellent food and excellent service. Plus the soufflé is to die for . And Anthony is always keeping up with all the details!

Excellent as always

The food was actually disappointing. The calamari appetizer had a funny, bad taste to it. As if he had been cooked in old oil. We could not eat it. Main courses (scallops and snapper) were good, but not great. Atmosphere, service and wine were all very good. But at this price point, you expect better quality food. I will not be going back anytime soon.

Amy and Anthony were attentive and pleasant. Becoming one our favorite places quickly. Looking forward to warm weather to try outdoor area.

We visited Le Relais for our Anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was excellent. The service was outstanding. The ambiance couldn't have been better for our evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Jazz on Sunday evenings is a real treat!

Le Relais offers exquisite food, professional staff, and attentive servers. The atmosphere is quiet and classy, great place to take date for a romantic dinner.

Great food. Nice service. Good atmosphere. Sadly, perhaps our last meal out for 2 months.

As always, Le Relais offers the finest of cuisine in one of Louisville's most unique and lovely settings. Diners will enjoy the warm and cozy feel of an old-world French restaurant nestled within Bowman Field's original Art Deco terminal building. The setting drips with style. In warmer weather, we recommend drinks on the the patio to watch pilots in their small planes practice their touch-and-go maneuvers. Le Relais is a must visit location for fine dining and sophisticated ambiance.

Delicious as always! Great ambiance. From cocktails to coffee service, could not have been better. The lamb was excellent.

Beautiful evening for my mom’s 87th b-day!!! The entire evening went above and beyond our expectations! Cannot wait to return in the summertime to sit on their deck.

Le Relais is always a first rate experience. The ambiance is stylish and sedate with it's burled wood paneling and cork floors. With the small airport outside you feel as though you had stepped through time and have all the time in the world. The food is excellent and the service is attentive. I would not change a thing. We plan on making that our go-to place for our get togethers.

As always, our dinner was exceptional....this restaurant is a Louisville gem...service, food, ambiance....all are 5 star....I've never had a dinner that wasn't perfect.

We picked up a curbside dinner a week ago, and it was amazing! The trout dinner and the shrimp and linguini entrees were superb, the salad, fresh and appealing, and the cocktail was delicious and generous. I look forward to our next special take-out meal during this time of social distancing.

Le RELAIS never disappoints

fabulous dinner. All exceptional. The maitre D' accommodated us quickly, every dish was superb, service was great. like the half portion alternatives. Very noisy at one point from a packed house, but we could still have a conversation. We will be back soon....

Anthony’s artistry is more on display than ever. The menu has so many delectable choices that it’s hard to know where to start. I chose the farro salad, followed by the trout, and our table shared the delectable Grand Marnier soufflé. It was divine!

An absolutely wonderful dinner in all respects other than iffy service. We'll definitely be back and often.

Great, formal, attentive service. Ordered the crabcake then the scallops then the chocolate covered coffee pastry. Everything was delicious! The scallops were perfect, and the mushroom risotto was magnificent.

The food is always great and we love the Jazz on Sundays!

Excellent sauces and other flavorful details make this our favorite restaurant! Staff is so kind, but not intrusive, so we could have our romantic dinner.

Ambience affected by owner-manager constantly correcting servers, he actually snapped his fingers at one young hostess. So ridiculous. Not sure who Anthony is trying to impress.

Food is consistently good and hot , great ambiance !

Filets were great but did have some tough sinewy streaks.

The host was gracious and attentive. The wait-staff was friendly and efficient. The cocktails were top notch and the food was superb! Our only drawback was the high noise level made conversation difficult. We were there on Sunday live jazz night with a capacity crowd, so returning on a different night of the week may lessen the noise level. We WILL return.

The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent, as always. The soft jazz was an added bonus.

Great Valentine's weekend experience. Me and my husband both have many tattoos and are younger than their average diner and were not treated any differently. We've had a bad experience with that at another high end Louisville restaurant. Very romantic. Great service. Love that it's in a building with a history. Live music. Will be back again to try more from the menu. The chocolate souffle was amazing.
