   This is a lovely spot for lunch or dinner. The food was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. It was my first visit and I will surely return. We were a party of eight and everyone loved the experience.

   Great neighborhood French restaurant. We dine at Le Provencal every couple of months. The occasion this time was New Year's Eve. They had a special menu (some items from the regular a la carte menu, others unique for the evening). Our appetizers and main courses were outstanding (escargots and crab meat for appetizers, bouillabaisse and horseradish crusted salmon for main courses). Service was excellent - restaurant was full and staff didn't miss a beat.

   We have eaten at Le Provencal numerous times and have ALWAYS been pleased with our meal. The noise level enables us to have a lovely conversation, the diningroom is very nice, and the food is always excellent. We will be moving from the area in a few months and we know that we will sorely miss our evenings at Le Provencal.

   Very friendly and very inexperienced waiter. Bloody Mary served in a WINE glass was awful. Had to ask repeatedly for drinks to be served. Waiter read specials from cards. Clearly hadn't a clue what he was reading, could not pronounce much of it. Descriptions were made up on the spot. WAY OVERPRICED for food that ranged from mediocre to BAD. The lone exception were the mussels. Delightful.

   It was Xmas Eve. Appetizers were Excellent and specifically the crab and the mussel . The sea bass was great but we got the wrong steak. The veal was kind of Suggs and too much breading on it. I was a busy evening so may be that was the reason

   One of our favorite restaurants! The food was absolutely delicious, portions were generous. The staff is friendly and solicitous.

    The food was good but not outstanding. We were there for lunch on a week day and would like to try this place for dinner sometime to see if their dinner fare is better than their lunch fare. Service and everything else was excellent.
