Le Petit Restaurant
The best classic french food in the valley. Great service and very French ambiance. They really know how to prepare duck which is my favorite. It's wonderfully old fashioned.
The food and service are superb every time we visit.
Steak was good. Duck was very dry (for the 2nd time), and the beef bourguignon didn’t look or taste very good. Tuna Tartar was just okay as was the caprese salad. Chocolate soufflé was delicious.
Well, the eggplant tart was devine. The onion soup was good. The waiter's cologne was enough to gas me out of the restaurant. I have perfume sensitivity, but the waiter was nose blind and was so strong, that cologne was all I could taste for a bit. I hurried out. So that is the drawback for the restaurant.
Delicious food, professional staff, and lovely ambiance. Recommend this restaurant.
We had a fine dinner here. I especially liked the lobster crepes and our Grand Marnier Souffle for dessert. Professional service, nice ambiance, and we hope to return soon.
We love this restaurant because it is consistently good. No matter what we order, it is delicious - cooked properly - and plated beautifully. The duck, the potato crusted salmon and the scallops are a few of our favorites, along with the onion soup, lobster bisque and pumpkin ravioli.
Charming classic French bistro restaurant with very good food. Seating is a bit tight and the restaurant is loud but is a personal family favorite. It's like being in Paris.
Staff was friendly and accomodating. Food was quite good. It was Saturday (6:30pm seating) and the room was HOT and LOUD. We were in a corner table and my husband and I were hoarse by the end of the evening for trying to talk with our friends across the table! Will go on a weekday next time!
Le Petit is always a great place to eat a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere. That's why I return often
Best French Fries bar None.
Another wonderful experience at Le Petit. The place ROCKED on New Year's Eve. Give this place a try. I believe that if you do, you will not be disappointed.
New Year’s Eve tradition. Been coming here for years. The food and service is consistently amazing!
Le Petit was amazing. We went for New Years and it was a great celebration. The food is fantastic and actually very reasonably priced compared to most French Restaurants I’ve been to. I had the lamb chops and they were perfectly cooked.
They are always nice and accommodating. Great place to have lunch or dinner! Always go here for the best French food!
Excellent New Years Eve Meal
New Years Eve had a fantastic time. Our waiter Peter is like an old friend we happen to see all the time. Favorite neighborhood hang and has won BEST BLOODY MARY (by me) in LA besides Connie And Teds. I recommend. A New York City /Paris vibe right in Sherman Oaks.
Very simple and quiet...
Can’t imagine friendlier, better service. All food excellent for a picky family of three generations.
Nice little Gem in Sherman Oaks, Great Food, Good Atmosphere and welcoming owner. Always a good time. Highly recommend!
We dined at 6:30. As the room filled up, it went from quiet to moderately noise, but the bigger issue was it got uncomfortably warm. Food and service were top notch, and it's a nice room.
Very nice French experience. Only drawbacks: very small tables, chairs not comfortable and tough to hear & speak across small tables. Still this is such great food and a positive energy location, so fun to be there. Rates high on food quality...everything was excellent from the duck to the pommel fries to the grand marnier souffle.
We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner for two at Le Petit Restaurant! Our first time here and will definitely not be the last. Great service and ambience! And the food & drinks were fabulous! Highly recommend! Cheers!
Always great. I love the duck. Monday's and Tuesday's they have lobster for $32. Delish. There were a lot of birthday celebrations. Wonderful waiters. $7. Valet.
We really enjoyed the evening. The food was great, our waiter was fun(Peter) and we already have our next reservation!
Have eaten at Le Petit in the past the service was good and the atmosphere is quaint. However my chicken dish was very dry and not enjoyable. The Frites are better at other French establishments I have gone to. Given that, the bread is fantastic and the soufflé for dessert was excellent.
Great food and service a little crowded and noisy but overall excellent.
A delightful evening that our party of four thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our friends Cynthia’s birthday. Peter is an awesome waiter. Our respective meals were excellent. Love Le Petit‼️
Always a good meal there but it is squishy seating and very loud but delicious
This restaurant is one the best neighborhood GEMS in the Sherman Oaks- Studio City. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The food always remains excellent. They also have an excellent wine selection.
Monday and Tuesday are Maine lobster nights. $34.99. Can't be beat. So sweet. I usually order the duck...delish! They even start with a little amuse bouche. Perfect restaurant.
Have been to Le Petit many times and recently went on a Saturday night. It was packed and though the food was good, the service was not what we had experienced in previous visits.
I would recommend Le Petit during the week - we went on a Saturday night and you could not hear yourself talk.
Always good food and excellent service.
I add this to my litany of reviews. Our experience here almost always has been outstanding. It is an experience. We took my brother here for the first time. He also was impressed. You will be too.
Celebrated my friends 90th birthday. Food and service were excellent but too noisy to carry on a conversation with our party of four. Will come on a week night next time.
This is one of the finest restaurants in the San Fernando Valley. If one wants something that is not on the menu that can be made there, if the ingredients are on hand, accommodations can be made. I ordered a smoked salmon omelette for breakfast yesterday that is not on the menu. Done!
We also had dinner here on Saturday night. It is not unusual for us to come on back-to-back days because we love this place so much. Give it a try and I am confident that you will too.
The best in the Valley.
No communication between wait staff and service.
