Great service and food
My daughter turned 21 and we wanted to take she and her friends out for a Sunday Brunch. The manager went out of his way to accommodate our party of 14. Service and food were incredible. We will definitely be back.
Everything was amazing except for the seating. I feel like the tables are too close together and felt like I was sitting with the couples next to us.
Food was great, not really impressed with the service. I had to ask for a glass for my beer, the waitress smirked and said, "we do not normally bring a glass with "domestic beer"." It was really rude and rubbed me the wrong way.
The food is good, the restaurant is beautiful. The value, meh.
No bread is given while you wait for your entree. For $12 you can order a basket of bread with dipping sauces of stroganoff, gravy and queso. Odd combo. With the pricey entrees, you would think they could give you bread on the house. Nope.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We arrived to a hand written card on the table. Our server greeted us with champagne for a toast and offered to take our picture. We enjoyed the flight of filet. They were each amazing. The baked potato was perfect as were the asparagus. Our server Walt was perfect and full of knowledge. We will be back.
The drinks and service were fabulous. The food didn't have much flavot.
Excellent service and great food!
The food has really went downhill, overcooked, lacks flavor. Will just go to Texas Roadhouse.
I have frequented Le Moo on multiple occasions and have always been super impressed. Although the food was delicious, the service was pretty disappointing. Most of the wait staff never made eye contact or did the normal check-in to see if we had everything we needed. We had to call over to who ever walked by to get water refills, the proper silverware, or to get another drink ordered. I am glad that it was not our first time there or it may have jaded our impression of the restaurant altogether.
Very nice place for special occasions. Food is top quality but you pay top price. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. I hope to go back for my birthday.
It was the start to a fancy night out with girlfriends and a different theme than we were used to. We really enjoyed ourselves even though we were the only ones who dressed for the overall theme of the restaurant. The food was delicious and beautiful, I tried the muscles, perfect, salmon, perfect and very filling, and cocktail Tiger Lily was not what I was expecting, probably won’t order again. The servers, really kept to themselves, which I actually liked. But I will definitely be back again. I really enjoyed myself. And will probably have a bigger group next time I visit.
We went to Le Moo for my husband’s 26th birthday. They have an awesome special where if you spend
I am in sales with a Fortune 500 company. Normally when I take clients for leMoo the food and service are at the same level.
However when it was the weekend, I brought my parents (visiting LOUISVILLE) to LeMoo for my normal experience. Well I had a 5pm reservation. They stuck me in a corridor room which was claustrophobic. I asked the lady look for other options. She said well we have other reservations. I didn’t know there was a hierarchy. Needless to say she never came back. I will not go back.
Loved it and will be back!! Got the chicken and waffles my first time and I can tell I’m gonna be back a bunch
Our server Walter was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. My friend and I shared the filet trio and the steak was amazing!!! Our other friend had the scallops and she would rate them a 4 out of 5. I would definitely recommend steak here! Great 1st trip to Louisville.
Went to Le Moo for my wife's birthday. Was not expecting them to dress up the table but they did. Food was excellent! Loved how the place looked. It was very different and unique. Our server Sam was awesome! Honestly this is the best service we've had in a very long time. There was no big scene or singing happy birthday!
Some of the finest steaks in Louisville. Bone marrow appetizer is a must try. I have never left disappointed!
LeMoo is our favorite date night restaurant. However, our service on Tuesday was awful. Our waiter took so long to great us I was getting up to ask the hostess if we could get seated where there was service., when he finally showed up. We were not given steak knives for our steaks, our menus sat on the table until our meal was almost finished. At the end of our meal we were given our check without the offer of dessert, one of the reasons we go to LeMoo. Theses may seem like petty things, but LeMoo is exclusive and we expect a level of service to match the price. Very disappointed.
Made reservation online for our 9th anniversary. Accommodated us 30min before our scheduled time. Servers were great. Great ambiance. My wife loved her time there, and I couldn’t believe how good my steak was. Y’all gotta try the fillet! Easy recommendation.
Food was wonderful tasting but everything was barely warm. Should have asked for it to be heated but didn’t. Would go again!
Always a great experience at Le Moo! Terrific food, wine, service, ambiance. Fabulous restaurant!
I have been here plenty of times and always have a great time! However, this time they seemed to have no servers and it took us 40 minutes of sitting at our table to even get a menu or have a server come to us where we could ask for menus. They food is always great and service is usually ok but this time was a big miss. We were celebrating a special occasion so we were all a very disappointed.
From the hostess to the waiter, I felt like royalty at Le Moo. This was the perfect destination for my birthday. I can't express the service enough.
The restaurant is trying to be all things to all people. We had a good steak and lobster dinner >$200 for 2, the table next to us was a group of teenagers in basketball shorts and t-shirts eating hamburgers. If you want to play in the high end steak price point, you can’t do both.
We came to Le Moo in a group of 6 and we were all very satisfied with our experience. Steaks were cooked as ordered, perfectly, service was timely and the restaurant atmosphere was pleasant and unique.
Food was good. I am basing my rating on the service. First of all we made reservations a few days in advance, BUT we were seated in the bar. I can understand being sat where we were if we were a walk in but to have reservations and not be in the dining area was a BIG let down. Also, our server was terrible. Not sure if he was a true waiter or maybe just a bartender, but waiting tables is not his thing. He never asked us about our food, checked on us, etc. Needless to say he only received a 10% tip. To be one of the Top 25 restaurants in the country, we had high expectations. Sadly, those expectations weren’t met and I doubt we return.
I recommend Le Moo to anyone and everyone. I travel from Indianapolis (home of St. Elmo's) and it's still my absolute favorite steakhouse! The staff is always super considerate and knowledgeable. You'd be a fool to pass up Le Moo.
Our waiter was not very attentive or observant. We were sitting at our table over 10 minutes before he came. I had to go to the host station to let them know that no one had been to our table. We had to ask him for everything rather than him being on top of it such as refilling drinks.
That was my only mediocre experience there. I will still go and many more times.
Food was not served hot, warm only. Cheesecake tasted old not fresh, very sweet, not creamy like most cheesecake. However the server was excellent however, it was the food that did not meet our expectations.
Excellent service!! However, we were very disappointed in the quality of our steak. We ordered the NY strip with the peppercorn add-on, and the chef burned the meat to nearly well-done, charred the edges black. My expectations for Le Moo were much much higher.
We were so excited to try LeMoo because we have heard nothing but great things! We decided to do the Prime cut for our steaks. Unfortunately, my steak was so burnt on the outside that it made it almost impossible to chew. There wasn’t much flavor at all to either mine or my husbands steaks so we had to use horseradish to give it something! The place is absolutely GORGEOUS & our server, Justin, was out of this world! For the price that we paid, I was extremely disappointed with my steak. I have had better tasting steaks at Texas Roadhouse!
I had the 10 ounce Prime Filet. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly! Service was great! Ambiance is super cool and fun. King Crab legs were not good. Way too fishy and seemed under cooked. Everything else was great.
We celebrated my husband 51st birthday and got a discount!!!!
This place has some true potential. The ambiance is amazing! The New York was superb, and the Spinach Queso dip is out of this world! The staff however, was quite lackluster.the lack of professionalism was disappointing. Our waiter was nice and seemed to be knowledgeable, unfortunately, it took a very long time for him to make his way back over to our table. Steak that had to be sent back sat on our table for 35 minutes before our waiter came to ask if the food was ok. I got up and grabbed the water pitcher to refill our drinks after they sat empty for 20 minutes. We were close to the front desk where several employees gathered. All joking and messing around. One even walking around snacking on a bag of chips. With better direction from management, this place would be amazing.
Went here to celebrate birthday! Food was very good. Two of us had the steak Diane & it was very good. Hubs had the filet & greens. He loved the filet but didn’t like the greens! Server noticed & brought him a different side at no additional cost! Son had the ribeye & it was very good. The skilled mashed potatoes were good. We didn’t have room for dessert. The only thing I didn’t care for was the attempt to “upsale “. No way were we going to order the wagyu!
