One of my favorite places for dinner in town. Steaks were delicious, server’s recommendations were right on. Try the Drugstore Cowboy cocktail! We’ll be back soon!
My girlfriend and I love to have brunch at Le Moo. The waffles are amazing!
Always a great time and meal at Le Moo! The $1 mimosas can't be beat, and it's always fun to enjoy a meal with friends, thanks to the attentive service.
Currently 1 of 4 restaurants in the US that offers the top grade of authentic, Japanese, Wagyu Beef! The complimentary veggies are wonderful too. The three of us all got different cuts of steak and different offerings of veggies. We were all very pleased and will never forget the culinary delight of Le Moo!
Celebrated our 5th wedding Anniversary. Food and service was wonderful!
Food is fantastic. Amir is amazing as always. His knowledge of wine and everything he does for your experience is perfect. Our favorite Louisville restaurant.
I was excited to go to Le Moo because on a previous visit I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I made reservations and when we arrived Sunday for lunch the only menu option was for brunch. Being on a restricted diet I asked for the dinner menu, for items that I knew were acceptable. It took 15 min for the menu, another 30 min for them to realize they'd left us un-ordered. After ordering, the food came quickly, however it wasn't what I'd ordered. They took it away, brought the correct salad saturated with dressing-I'd ordered none. Another 15 min and my salad arrived. The salmon was over-cooked crispy and I was missing artichokes. Sigh. It wasn't the waitresses fault but to make it up they took $7 off of the salad that I was overcharged for on the wrong salad that was wrung up. I can't say that I'll ever want to return since 2 salads were almost $100. The kitchen and management were poor at best. There are too many good restaurants in town to settle for bad treatment.
The food was amazing and our waiter was excellent. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. So much flavor!
We were on the Bourbon Trail and heard about this place from a local. We all loved our meal and found the unique. I also prefer the local one off places like this to the big overpriced steak houses. Our meal was not cheap but offered a much better value. I'll be back!
It was wonderful! I only marked the value as 3 because you don’t go to a place like Le Moo for a good deal, but for good food. Although, their birthday discount sounds great!
I have gone to Le Moo several times for brunch and it never disappoints. The food is great, as well as the atmosphere. I would recommend It to anyone.
We frequent Le Moo as often as we can. The food is great, and the staff goes out of their way to please. We especially love their brunch, as well as their top-notch steak selections. Food always prepared just as requested. Definitely one of our favorite places!
Food was good but came out room temp and poached eggs were way overcooked suggesting food had been sitting waiting to be delivered for awhile.
Excellent! Great food, cocktails, and service. Love this place!
We were there for a special occasion and they surprised us by seating us at the Louis Vuitton booth. The meal and service was absolutely fantastic, best steak in town by far.
Absolutely one of the best food experiences I have ever had in Louisville. Probably be best steak I have had in Louisville as well.
Angela was fantastic! Great food, great service
Food was very tasty. Service was attentive. A couple of items needed to be sent back, because they were cold.
LeMoo is one of our go-to spots for special occasions and out of town guests. The visit on Friday for my husbands birthday was not up to the usual standards we’ve grown accustomed to. We had a reservation at 7:30. We checked in and were told it would be just a few minutes and that they’d come get us. 15-20 minutes later we hadn’t heard anything so I went back to the hostess stand to check on it and was told our table was being cleaned off. 10 more minutes went by before we were seated. Another 10 minutes passed before our server greeted us. Drinks were slow, we only saw our server a few times throughout the time we were there. The food and drinks were fantastic as usual, but the service was lacking. We’ll give it another chance, but when we go to LeMoo, we’re going for an experience. This was not a memorable one.
Our first visit to Le Moo and they didn’t disappoint.
We split the Caesar (small) salad and it was superb.
We loved the poach egg.....added touch to this salad.....
Our entrees were the prime sirloin steak and ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection medium and were very tender.....
Wine list is incredible.....
Our server was great, very professional and knowledgeable.
We will be back...
The service was tremendous and the steak was good.
My only disappointment was the 1st 2 bottles of wine we tried to order were not in stock.
Everything about LeMoo was wonderful. Food was excellent. Service was great. Great ambiance.
Often inconsistent, either the food or the service. The entree was delicious. Had a 5:30 PM dinner reservation. Unfortunately they were “out of bread pudding” dessert- a standard menu item. The butter cake was stale and dry - very disappointing. Our server appeared to be rushed, was not personable, no effort at all.
Sunday brunch for my sisters birthday... the server was wonderful.. she was personable, attentive and great to chat with while she was at the table. The food was great as usual and we had a wonderful time celebrating.
Simply the best place in town for food and service
Fabulous food service and atmosphere. I had the filet Benedict at brunch and it was melt in your mouth good. That place was packed. Thank goodness for open table reservations.
We went for my husbands 40th birthday to try the Special Wagynu steak for $250... its was good for sure but deff will not get again. The server was Excellent! i mean excellent, very friendly and attentive.
Always a great dining experience at Le Moo!!!
First time dining at Le Moo and had a great time. I was there celebrating a birthday with family and appreciated all the nice touches such as the balloon, complimentary champagne, and the birthday promotion discount. The decor was beautiful. Service by Walter was top notch and he was very informative about the menu. Food was really great, though the price tag seemed just a touch too high. Really no complaints and will definitely be back.
Excellent restaurant, one of our favorites. We don't go very often (due to the $50-$75 filet price tags) but we try to hit it at least once a year for our anniversary. I can't imagine how you could go wrong with anything on the menu, but I would recommend the spinach cheese dip appetizer, the filet with fried mashed potatoes, and the pecan pie cheesecake. Also, knowing it was our anniversary, they made a point out of putting a "Happy Anniversary" card on our table prior to seating.
My daughter took me here for my birthday. Enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service.
Food and ambiance was great but the prices were a bit much.
We love le moo! Tonight, we had our first issue with the steak! The server was so nice and understanding. However, we were celebrating a 30th Birthday. It would have been awesome if the meal was as good as the service.
Food and service were great! The only irritating thing was when were paying the check we had a gift card from Christmas and there was an issue. They told us that it had a zero balance, so it had already been used, (which it had not). I produced the receipt at that point and they said they would make it work but then came back and said that it couldn't be used for alcohol. I was really becoming upset and the manager finally took care of it. Called my son who purchased the gift card from Le Moo and he was really upset and said that when he purchased it (from the restaurant) the woman acted like she really didn't know how to activate it.
We just didn't appreciate the hassle we had to go through, and md my son definitely won't be purchasing any more gift cards from there.
We were celebrating a birthday. The staff is excellent and the food was really good but perhaps a little overpriced. Otherwise a great experience.
I just had the best steak ever here. I will definitely be returning.
The ambiance was pretty cool. The appetizer amazing. We had the queso dip. We barely touched it as we had a full dinner ahead of us. We were told they would box it up. The steak was good but not above average. When we were ready to leave our appetizer wasn't there. We were told "oh. Someone else must have taken it. If I'm spending $200 on a meal for 2 people, then yes, I want to take my appetizer home. Jenny was our server and up front she was great, but once we settled up our $200 tab with a 25% tip to be told sorry.. Someone else must have taken it??? I can spend the same amount at Capital Grille with impeccable steaks and service so why would I ever waste my time and money on mediocrity here? We won't be back. I have to say the venue itself, the ambience was cool, but didn't make up for the mediocrity in food and service.
A plus plus
Great way to spend time with good friends...
The food was great and Chuck is an awesome server!
