   This was our first time visiting LaMoo's Restaurant - Overall, we were unhappy with our experience. Did the Jumbo Shrimp (3) pieces have something spread on them? They did not taste like shrimp, which was disappointing. The loaded potato was not hot and was thick. The 14-oz rib-eye choice steak was cooked as ordered, but it was dry when eaten.

   Excellent experience. Good was excellent. Wife and I had filets, both cooked to perfection. Jumbo shrimp cocktail and C.A.B. Salad were delicious. Wine and cocktails were wonderful additions as was the pecan bourbon cheese cake. Best of all the service was on point!!!! Thanks

   Great experience from start to finish! Champagne starter was a nice touch! Our server Walter was great! Pecan Pie cheesecake was one of the best desserts I have had! Highly recommend stopping by if you are in Louisville!

   Update- invited back to experience what was once and still is a great experience. The food was excellent, service on the mark and genuine, and over all a very wonderful evening. I really appreciate a restaurant and manager who takes the time to correct what went wrong during one visit but is far from the norm at a place like Le Moo. I changed my original review from 3 to 5’s not only because we were invited back by the manager but because the experience was what I expected and had experienced in the past. We have already booked again next month. Thanks again!!! Update— the manager and others reached out to me about the review and showed respect and concern, which I appreciate very much. Invited back to give it another try. Looking forward to seeing if the review can be updated to a 5 star like I remember. The food was good. Not excellent. Main server was very nice and polite but service overall was not good. We were almost never checked on or ask we need anything unless they were bringing something to the table we ordered or I ask specifically (like water refills, clearing table, wiping table when dirty, no bread was brought to the table). Overall, it wasn’t a very good experience and we won’t be coming back. For almost $450 I expect much, much better and have experienced much, much better at many other restaurants. The wait staff just doesn’t seem to understand what’s needed. And we were sat in the bar area when many other tables were available which was disappointing bc the TVs are distracting and really don’t belong in a restaurant that is charging these prices. It seems the quality has really gone down since I was last there.
