Appetizer was cold but they gave us another one that was hot! Food and service were excellent
Le Moo was a perfect experience start to finish. The wait staff were always present when we needed anything without being oppressive. Our waiter, Seth, was knowledgeable about everything and helped us through a lot of information for our first visit.
The seafood tower had some amazing touches, and the scallops were the standout. I would recommend to anyone. We had the corn and crab chowder, and it is well worth the price.
For entrees we had a dry aged rib eye special that was perfectly seasoned prepared. We also had the tenderloin flight, and it was as good as any similar dish I've had. The cuts were all immensely flavorful. I only wish I could've eaten more of it, as I quickly filled up.
For drinks I had the Tiger Lily, which is genuinely one of the best cocktails I've ever tasted.
All in all, a great experience, with a price that reflects the quality you are getting.
We dined at Le Moo for our 30th wedding anniversary and had an excellent meal! This was our first time at Le Moo and we will be back! Everything from how we were greeted at the front door, to suggestions our server made for the salad and the meal, to getting our "to go" box as we headed out was top notch! I would highly recommend Le Moo to friends and family.
Booked the Sunday Drag Brunch or thought I did so twice. So I even called to confirm that I booked the right thing as the website was not clear other than click here for drag brunch reservation. The young lady on the phone said that 12:30p would be fine even though I tried to move it up to 11:30am (no seats available). We checked in at 12:05p and she told us to grab a drink at bar as someone was still seated at our table and she would get us when it was ready. At 12:40p I went up to desk and asked again what our status was and the new person at the desk said we were not checked in. I showed her who checked us in and then she told me that the drag brunch was only at 11a and 1:30p and that we did not make reservations for the right thing. I told her I even called to verify and said it as well when I was checking in and that no where on the website did it show those times nor did anyone until now say this. They told me "we are very busy and we will just need to wait until they can find us something but it would not be the drag brunch". We left, we did not eat. We only booked so we could experience this offering and so I could be sure to let guests I entertain on a daily basis with new experiences and options when they are visiting Louisville. This one will not be on my list as I do not want anyone else to receive that type of service, which is sad as I have heard great things about this brunch.
My one positive is the drinks at the bar and bar staff was outstanding!
Server spilled entire glass of water on one of our guests.. no apoligies at all
Said “ oh well it’s just water”!!!!!
Food was delicious. There were eight of us there for a business dinner and I felt like we were taken advantage of due to that. The server, Jamie, asked if we wanted to chef to put together a variety of their appetizers for our table. Sounded good, so we said yes. We ended up with seven appetizers for eight people including a seafood tower for $218. In the end, seven of their most expensive appetizers for eight people was uncalled for! Probably won’t be back.
Food was great but our table was by the bar and it was very noisy. We couldn’t hardly have a conversation. The service was great until the end , they took my husband 1/2 steak to get boxed up and then our box couldn’t be located . It was thrown away , our server was no problem they would cook another steak because that was the policy . We waited 20 minutes and then finally asked about it and no one had even turned it in .. we left ! Our special date night was major $$$$ and disappointing .
Very good food. I went for brunch and enjoyed my meal
Service was efficient. Loved my omelette and waffle.
Appetizers (Caprese salad, wagyu pigs in a blanket) and drinks (drugstore cowboy, gunslinger) were great. However everything else was disappointing. Redfish was ok. The prime New York strip was in no way worth the $52 price tag at all. The fries were nothing special. and our waitress was not pleasant or helpful. Wanted to like the place, but with a price tag like that I can think of dozens of other restaurants in town I would rather go to.
Over priced for what you get. People are wearing shorts and t shirts. There was limited selection of side dishes to choose from. Steak was good but not the best I’ve ever had. Save your money and go to another steakhouse
We got the seafood platter appetizer and it was $124! That is ridiculously high for an appetizer. Shame on us for not asking the price, but still. Also the drinks were overpriced. I’m used to fine dining coming with $10 cocktails, but you get what you pay for, too. At Le Moo, this was not the case.
Great food and service
Food was delicious as usual. Waiter was kind, professional, and helpful with food suggestions. We will keep coming back!
Very good steaks and salmon. A little expensive. One step below Jeff Ruby's, Stony River and Eddy Merlot but in line with Del Frisco's and Ruth's Chris. Ambiance is a little dated but comfortable. We will probably go again.
Our waitress Samantha was excellent. She gave great descriptions of all the off-menu specials. Once food was served, she checked on us frequently, without being a disruption. The prime ribeye was wonderful, as were the Foley and jumbo scallops. My partner had the baked potato. WOW. I had asparagus and the bourbon mushroom medley. Mushrooms were outstanding! Wish the portion had been bigger. Lovely treat. A nice evening out.
Food is really good. The service from the waitress was a little slow but its understandable when they have larger tables that they are working...I would definitely be going back. There is a lot of things to choose from on the menu so.come with a great appetite. I had the waffle with blueberries and vanilla icecream along side the veggie omelette.
Le moo , the food was amazing. My steak was cooked to perfection and great service was great.
Excellent as always!!!
Loved the quiet relaxing atmosphere. We could actually have a conversation without yelling or asking “what?” all the time.
Service was exception! Steak Diane tender & delish.
Wine was good but very pricey per glass.
Thankful for gift card from son bc out of our price range.
By far the best steak I’ve ever eaten! Well worth the price for the wagyu cut. Definitely will be back.
Very friendly staff! Always helpful! Delicious food!
First impressions they say, the hostess was rude. Server was good. Food overpriced but good, not outstanding. Dessert was outstanding. Wouldn't go back. Have been there for brunch as well. Also not worth going back.
Mussels appetizer was great. 14oz ribeye was cooked to order (medium rare) good flavor but not great. Skillet fried potatoes were a basic potato cake. Not what I expected. I thought overall price was way too much.
What a pleasant find for us, during a family trip to Louisville! This place was amazing in every regard--including being kind and welcoming to our two young children. My husband and I shared the filet flight--a perfect way to try different cuts. This experience was a highlight of our family vacation. Thank you!
I like this place. The atmosphere is amazing. Food was delicious as I expected. Only had one issue... We were celebrating my wife's birthday and I put that down when I made my reservation. So we get there and they say nothing about my wife's birthday. I wonder what's the point listing special requests/reason for dinning if no one pays attention!
The food was so fresh and we’ll prepared. The wait staff was accommodating and friendly. I’ll be back for my next birthday steak God willing..lol
The brunch was overrated. The eggs were good, the steak was over cooked, and the other steak was under cooked. The fried potatoes was gross. The waffle was very dry. The food overall was not worth the price.
My new favorite brunch spot! Outstanding meal and AWESOME server/bartender!
Our evening at LeMoo was wonderful! It started with a nice and personal "Happy Anniversary" greeting when we entered the restaurant as we were there to celebrate our 14th Anniversary. Our waiter, Steve, was very personable and helpful with our dinner choices. Both of our meals were great! At our experience at LeMoo (our 2nd) was awesome and we will definitely return.
This was hands down the best birthday dinner out. The food was excellent, staff on top of it, the ambience impeccable. Thoroughly enjoyed my evening out with family.
Our server, "Z," was EXCELLENT!! There was a tiny bit of confusion about the reservation, but nothing that would keep me from coming back. Would love to see more meat options other than pork. But otherwise, we had a GREAT time!
Birthday celebration with friends
Our server was wonderful! Music is always my favorite thing about Lee Moo! Along with the delicious brunch and mimosas!
Le Moo’s Saturday brunch was fantastic! The menu is eclectic and fun. The noise level was a bit too loud for us mid-50 year olds, but we enjoyed it. We highly recommend the “definitely for crazy people” burger - best burger I’ve ever had. The tater tot casserole, biscuits with bacon milk gravy, and candied bacon were all good, too. We will definitely go back!
Every time I’m in Louisville, this is my brunch spot!! A must do when in town!
It was my wife birthday and the table was supposed to have balloons on it but they were missing.
The staff quickly fixed it for her. I was impressed
Our server Madelyn was exceptional. Great recommendations & very professional.
The food at Le Moo is outstanding. And we had a party of 8 but didn't seem to have to really wait for anything. The service was great, the experience was outstanding and the food ... wow. I had a ribeye that might be one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked. The wagyu pigs in the blanket were amazing, too.
We'll definitely be back,
Had a great time and half way thru brunch my Mom says she wants to have her Birthday dinner at Le Moo!
