The food here is excellent!! But our waitress was awful and rolled her eyes at us every time we made a decision not to spend more money or upgrade our steaks. Just very poor service.
Had a nice time celebrating my birthday; great staff and delicious food.
Delicious steak and impeccable service
Overall our dinner experience was remember able . Bar service was a bit slow. 3 of our 4 dinners were served. The 4th came out cold. Sent back and the replacement/ reheated one did not come to our table until we were finished with the other dinners. Very bad timing on the kitchen staff. Compensated with bar drinks and of course the dinner entrees not served on time. That was good and to be expected. But the matre de was no where to be found. He should have been more apparent and visible and should have been at our table as we were checking out. No where in site! Just our waitress who tried to justify their compensations. Not her fault. Although we never saw her after food was ordered and the time to check us out.
All in all we fault the manager on site that night. Hope he can take away something beneficial from this evaluation.
Outstanding food and service. Best steak in Louisville.
Will definitely be back!
This is one of the best brunches I’ve had in a long time. We were in town from Indy and managed to snag a Sunday reservation. So worth it because otherwise the wait would’ve been 2 hours! Also, $1 or $3 mimosas?! Amazing! Chocolate chips optional to put in your coffee?! Double amazing. We sat at a table near the bar which was so fun for people watching. We had 3 different meals between the two of us - all of them were more tasty than the next. We loved the biscuits and gravy. Our waitress was so sweet and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely be back
Wonderful, exceptional, consistent
Steak was awesome. I got the sirloin and my husband got the rib eye. Both tasty and done to perfection. Was a little disappointed in the level of service. Took a while to get served. Didn’t provide any rolls or that type of amenity. Also the other ranked around us who got steak were provided with appropriate knives. We only had the standard knife which cut but had to work at it. Felt a like too casual for the hype of place. Felt like a chain versus a specialty venue.
Fun menu, great server. We enjoyed our brunch, as well as the surprise show going on in the back room!
Bone marrow was exceptional, steak and cocktails were amazing, and creme brulee delicious!
The ambiance is great. However, on this night the flank steak smelled and tasted off. We asked if it was aged and were told no, but it smelled like some decomposition was going on. My husband would usually send it back, but didn’t want to disrupt our anniversary dinner. The Steak Diane was very good.
Amazing experience...from the hostess to the delivery of the bill. A must stop when in Louisville!
Great service but my filet was a little tough which was disappointing. The filet I get from Texas Roadhouse is never tough.
Went to Le Moo for our 20th wedding anniversary. We were hoping for something special and we weren’t disappointed. We were seated in a lovely private booth ordered a bottle of wine $45. The waiter was very knowledgeable and courteous. Ordered a delicious salad and our Steak Diane and Jumbo Sea Scallops were cooked perfectly. We ended our dinner with some Cream Brûlée. We loved the restaurants ambiance and had very special evening.
LeMoo is always good. Server was nice, atmosphere is good. But the same thing that happens in the food industry happened with LeMoo today, order accuracy. I ordered the chicken and waffles. It comes with the Frank’s syrup. I ordered with the regular syrup (as I always do). Well, didn’t know until I soaked the food with syrup that it was the Frank’s. I wasn’t going to waste the food. I did inform the server, he apologized. I know it’s mistakes, but multiple mistakes reduce foot traffic into your establishment.
This is NOT a fine dining experience - at least not for brunch. They have decent omelettes (don’t be scared of the “6 egg” claim), good biscuits and good breakfast burritos. The French press coffee was OK. But the collards were way too sweet, the tater tot casserole was rather disappointing, and the $1 mimosas tasted like $1 mimosas. I give it a solid “meh.”
We had a fantastic time and the food was amazing. Everyone from the bar staff to the wait staff were friendly and on top of their game. The place was busy when we were there, but we never felt neglected. I usually skip dessert, but I am so glad I had the pecan pie cheesecake. Worth every bite!
Party of 4....first visit for all of us. 2 of us visiting from out of town....we were an hour late due to an accident on the highway of which LeMoo was very understanding, kept our reservation, did not rush us at all because we were so late. We were celebrating 2 birthdays, had the greatest time. Our server was very knowledgable about the menu and types of steaks. He added to our fun celebration and deliteful meal. If you are not a beef eater, there is enough fish and seafood to choose from as well! Would absolutely come back! The only negative is that we wanted a bottle of wine and they were out of our top two 2 choices. Which a high end beef restaurant should not be out of wine. But again, that is not a deterrent, would return!
Came for dinner on a busy Saturday evening. Our reservation time was 8pm, we arrived and host staff let us know they were setting up our table, so we were seated almost immediately. Our server was very knowledgeable, did an excellent job explaining the menu without over doing it (in my opinion it is a large menu for steakhouse, not a bad thing) and make sure everything was great without hovering. Her assistant make sure the waters were always filled & plates cleared in a timely manner, the only thing I would have liked to have seen done was using crummers, not a knock on this place, I’m just picky like that.
We ordered the Spinach Dip Queso, Shrimp Cocktail & Pigs in a Blanket to start. The Queso was good. The Shrimp were huge, I liked that the cocktail sauce had a bit of a kick to it. The Pigs in a Blanket were amazing, I don’t know how I can ever eat regular pigs in a blanket again now that I’ve had these wonderful bites of deliciousness.
I had the Surf & Turf Special, which had a Filet, topped with crab meat, béarnaise & asparagus paired with 2 seared scallops. I asked for the béarnaise on the side and they were able to do that, except when the food had come out they had topped it with the sauce. Upon noticing the mistake they took it back and replaced the filet, crab, asparagus and put the sauce on the side, all in under 5mins (please note I ordered a very rare filet, so I wouldn’t expect a well done to be this fast.). The redone plate was delivered by a manager, a very nice gentleman, who made sure all was great before leaving us to enjoy our meals. We finished the meal with two desserts that were shared upon everyone, The butter cake was the perfect finish to a perfect meal. Everyone at the table loved everything they ordered, not a bite left on the plate and no one left hungry.
Final thoughts, we really enjoyed this place, the food was great and the staff friendly & knowledgeable without being pretentious. We will be back.
Amazing experience! They even included some details that made it feel very personal, like a handwritten note. Really recommend this great restaurant.
Unmatched. What a great experience.
We had a 6:30 reservation and arrived about 6:15. Despite being early we were seated rather quickly. The place was not that busy. And we had a server plus the servers assistant. We waited an hour and a half for our food. When it arrived my fries were cold. We mentioned it to the server who brought us more about 10 minutes later. These fries were hot and also burnt. The steaks were not cooked as we ordered. My husband ordered medium well and it was medium rare. One of my family members asked if there were any vegetarian options and were recommended the “bread”. Which is an appetizer. The steaks were just average, certainly not worth what we paid for them. The bread on my burger was stale and we sat with empty water glasses for most of the duration of our meal. We will not be returning. Honestly we could go to Texas Roadhouse and get a better steak for a fraction of the cost. Not worth the money at all!!!
Great meal at Le Moo! Food was amazing, but a little expensive comparatively. Wine per glass is high compared to other $$$ restaurants in town. Love the atmosphere and service was top notch.
Service was great. Bloody Mary was standard, coffee was good and the food was good. Would recommend
Very great food and service!!! We love Le Moo ...we’ve been there for brunch and dinner! Will definitely be back!
From the beginning they were off. They put “Happy Anniversary” instead of Happy Birthday. Not a big deal but it only got worse. It took forever to get our appetizers, when we finally got it...the soup was cold. The server was not responsive. Then, she brought the ring steaks and took 5 mins to figure out it was a ribeye and not a strip. When they finally brought the correct steak...it was very rare (inedible). They didn’t make us pay for it. But, by that point my party was livid. Very disappointed.
Steve was excellent!! His service alone is worth coming back for. I brought customers to the restaurant and they very impressed with the whole night. From beginning to end, I have no complaints or criticism. Thank you!!
Great atmosphere and great service. The food was very good
Our server was sweet, patient and attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious. It may be nice to offer a bourbon blackberry or cranberry lemonade cocktail.
The Bourbon selection was very good, not great. their list needs updating.
my prime strip was a little grisly. My wife's prime filets was excellent.
The food was fantastic! I would highly recommend.
Great food, cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff and service. We will be going back, for sure.
Le Moo is one of the top 3 steak houses I’ve had the pleasure to visit, ranks up with the Golden Ramsey steakhouse Vegas, St Elmo’s Indianapolis, Texas De Brazil Carlsbad California and the Stonewood girl and bar Ormond Beach Florida. Overall great food, service, atmosphere
Very nice experience. The sides were different than most steakhouses. All of the sides we tried: potato, Lima beans, greens, Caesar salad, and mushrooms were very good. Steak was excellent.
Fabulous experience! Great service and yummy food.
We love LeMoo. We are regulars and have been sad since Amir has been gone. We have now found Tyler and he is amazing. We will be asking for him every time. Great food great service.
Great atmosphere and delicious food. The romantic novel used to bring the check out was fun idea and hilarious to read. Service was quick and knowledgeable. We were greeted promptly at the door with a courteous hostess. The half off bottle of wine deal was perfect and saved us some money on our ticket overall. We will be sure to return for another meal.
Took my wife there for our 4 year anniversary. We got there 45 minutes after they opened and had a reservation so we were seated right away. There was only 1 or 2 other tables dining, yet it took over 10 minutes for anyone to come around to get our drink orders. No one came to check on us, so we left. High end restaurant with low end service.
Service is not too good at brunch on the weekends but food and ambiance are great
