Visited for Easter Brunch, great seating, light from window a bit bright but okay, the Omelet with 5 mushrooms and Tenderloin was superb! Shrimp and grits was really good as was the Bean salad. Service was perfect. Will definitely be back!
Only disappointment... we didn’t see the drag queens!
It was the great food amd the service was excellent. I will returning to the Drag Brunch next time!
Family of 4 with 2 teenagers - service was outstanding and food was, as expected, top shelf. Noisy, drunk atheists next to us mocking Easter was a bit of a distraction, but they left after we explained they were obnoxious. Fantastic restaurant, worth the price.
Do yourself a favor and go here!
This was truly wonderful experience. We both had brunch and French press coffee and it was scrumptious! The service was courteous and was prompt. We will be returning when we are able.
We were on a date to celebrate a birthday. The steak was perfection. The staff was kind and willing. We loved it.
This was our third time going to Le Moo for brunch and the first time we made a reservation. The first two times, we showed up and waited close to 1 hour for our table. No biggie since the place was packed. Both times, the hostess recommended we make reservations to avoid waiting. Well, we listened to their advice and made a reservation for our most recent visit. We still ended up waiting 60+ mins for our table. Our waitress was amazing but the food was cold and bland. Unfortunately, we brought guests from out of town and raved about the food. To say the least, they were not impressed. Maybe it was an off day for the Le Moo kitchen?
We'll give Le Moo 1 more try before we decide to write it off.
First off, here was a mix-up with our reservation. It should have been for the 1:00 drag brunch but was told we would be seated at the regular brunch. I was celebrating a birthday with my daughter, and even after they were told we were celebrating her birthday, there was zero accommodation for her. Nothing special at all. We were seated in the very back of the restaurant by exit door and virtually ignored. Had to flag down our server for our water even and waited literally 15 minutes for our drink order (mimosas). My eggs came out cold. Cold eggs....yay.
I have constantly booked this restaurant for special occasions and have recommended to business associates, but sadly, this was my last trip to Le Moo, now known as LE BOO!!!
Based upon food quality solely I wouldnt recommend. Excellent service but the good was not up to standards. Also the ladies latrine appeared to be backed up and not properly flushing. Made the experience less than pleasing.
The food was outstanding as was the service.
Always a great time at LeMoo!
Food was terrific; service (Walter) extremely polite, accommodating, friendly to the child in our party, and personable. Noise was a tad high, possibly due to prom season and other parties. Chairs/tables are fine, but could use some updating. Wine list was a bit high, but we took a chance on a red that was less expensive but very satisfying.
We came here to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. They had brunch menus on the table. We wanted steak. The server said we could get that, but we would have to get a brunch side item not a lunch/dinner one. So we ended up not eating there.
It was very good, but we were seated right by the bar and there were groups of people standing there almost the entire time we were seated. It felt like they were right on top of us. It was rather distracting and disappointing.
Great food as always!
Excellent meal and service as always!
We arrived early and went to bar to wait since table was not ready. We had to go back in after 30 minutes and ask again if table was ready. Tried to order 2nd glass of wine and by time they came back with bottle main course had been at table for 10 minutes.
Sunday brunch was a delight. My eggs Benedict was perfection, and my friends enjoyed their waffles. We were really envious of the folks in the back room at the drag show, so we made reservations to come back to see it next month.
our server was excellent! The food was also excellent. i really enjoyed the french pressed coffee.
We ordered our steaks medium and medium rare. Both came out well done. The server and manager apologized but nothing outside of that to make us want to return.
Amazing service and food! Best steaks in Louisville. The seevice team and the chef were great!
First time visiting. Overall good experience. Menu choices, decor, ambiance are all fantastic. Food came out neither hot nor cold. Server was pleasant but I expected slightly more attentive service for this price point. Will be back.
Food was great. I tried the Bone Marrow and it was really Good. Highly recommend have dinner her.
The service was fabulous as well as the food. They didn’t rush out the door or make you wait at all. The food is top notch!
The food was great, and the decor if beautiful. I was very annoyed by the server. They give you a "tour" of the menu, which involves them talking at you for 10 minutes about everything they have and trying to upsell you. I can read the menu and will ask questions if I have them. I found that very intrusive and pushy. Then when we were ordering more trying to upsell that I felt guilty for not adding a $50 crab legs. I don't think I will be back.
I was disappointed with my filet mignon. I at first told the waiter I wanted the choice filet but he talked me into the prime instead. I told him I like my steak pink inside; somewhere between medium and medium well. He suggested I order it medium well because the kitchen usually undercooks. Fine. My steak came medium rare. I sent it back. I knew it was taking too long to bring it back. So when it did come back it was well done!! I really couldn't tell if it was choice or prime because it was so overcooked. I never order prime because of the price and the one time I do, it is ruined. I couldn't finish eating it. So disappointing!! The waiter never returned to our table to see if the steak was acceptable after going back to the kitchen. I expect a restaurant that is upscale and charging the prices they do, to have people in the kitchen who know how to cook a steak properly. At first touch, I knew the steak was undercooked for me because it was very soft to the touch. Their cooks don't know this? I won't make that mistake again. The only other thing I can complain about is the crust of the cheesecake is way too hard.
Enjoyed a great evening with friends. Food was Wonderful!! Only minor complaint was potatoes were delivered to the table lukewarm. Steak and Salad were outstanding!
Will definitely be on my short list of favorite places.
Brunch was a hit with the Business lunch that we had. The only downside was that the server would disappear for long stretches of time, otherwise, everything was great.
One of the best restaurants in Louisville. Always excellent food and service
We thoroughly enjoyed everything about Le Moo. From being seated early to the exceptional service and phenomenal food, we will certainly be back. This meal was worth every penny, and then some! Steve, our waiter, was very knowledgeable of the menu items and always seemed to appear at just the right time. We truly enjoyed the entire experience.
Our steaks were great. The best
We enjoyed our meal. Our waiter Brian is great
Service was very good. Food was pretty good, but I didn’t think it was worth the price.
First time I have had slow service at LeMoo. Seems like we always had to go looking for our waitress. Food was great but we were seated in the bar area and the booth we sat in was HORRIBLE! It felt as if it would fall apart at any minute, every time the man behind me moved it would shake the whole booth.
Brunch food was very good, but portions are much too large. You can get too much of a good thing (and nobody in their right mind would eat six eggs).
Took my wife there for her birthday. Our table had a card and balloons when we sat down - that was a nice touch. The food was excellent.
Overall would recommend for a birthday, anniversary or just a date night.
We were a little disappointed. The service wasn't great. Something we ordered was forgotten. Never brought to the table, and did not appear on the bill-so I'm guessing our server forgot to ring it in. At 2:30 pm on Sunday, the restaurant was not close to being full, so we don't understand why service was so slow. The bill before tip was $135, so at $22.50 we expected better.
I brought two friends here for their first time Sunday, March 31, 2019. I'm a Le Moo fan but the overall experience was embarrassing for me as the person who chose the place. After specifically stating in reservation I didn't want to sit at bar (because I wanted my guests to see the cool decor of restaurant), we were seated in bar area. I told them I asked not to sit in bar and the hostess said - more or less - 'we're busy and this is all we have.' It took forever to get water (glasses very spotty) and to have our actual server greet us. After being told we could order from regular menu (since it was 2:30 and we really didn't want brunch), she returned to say we could only order steaks but no dinner sides or other seafood dishes because kitchen wasn't ready. That was OK with us because we came for steak. The service went downhill from there. She was perfectly nice but absolutely in some la-la land and we had to ask for everything after that point. KT's queso delivered to our table sans the pork rinds. When pointed out, she said: "Oh, another table ordered it that way." Had to ask for drink refills. I even walked to the bar to get my friend's Diet Coke refilled (and was surprised to see them pouring from a 2-liter bottle instead of the fountain). I ran out of iced tea twice. One friend's steak came out without the hashed browns (had to order potato disk from brunch menu, remember) and it never came until we were all done with our food. And that was after I tracked the server down when she was walking toward the bar. She said: "I was just going to kitchen to check on." Not true, because she was walking away from the kitchen. We received large portions of salad when we ordered the small. My ribeye was very good but another friend's was extremely gristly and she had about 3 ounces pushed to the side of fat. We shared the Grand Marnier creme brulee and it was delicious. And the check was not divided as we specifically asked for at onset. This woman needs trained.
Everything was just ok - food, service, ambiance. The $3 jumbo mimosa was a great deal, though! Brunch is way more affordable than having dinner there. I had the biscuits and gravy. They were good but nothing amazing. The place was packed and our service was ok. I had to ask twice for coffee and she didn’t really check in on us. It was fine but I’m not in a hurry to return
Good food, good atmosphere but gets very loud when there are large groups of people close by. Very loud.
