It was simply amazing! You guys always do a great job
I love le Moo. It’s such a festive, quality brunch! We make it our must have!
Recommended every time!!!
My wife and I shared the special - 12 oz Fillet with some crab meat on top. $115 for the special. The crab was salty and tasteless. The fillet was ordinary. I have made better with fillet purchased from Kroger.
Amazing lunch. Our service was great. She went to the trouble to locate some rose wine for us. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary. The food was amazing and Jamie provided amazing service!
Loved everything about this place! It was unique, friendly and the food was AMAZING! Our bartender and server were extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu and made good suggestions on menu items. If you are vegan or vegetarian, take a break from the diet and eat one of their steaks, they are too good to pass up. They also have vegetarian options just in case. This is a great place for larger groups (make reservations) and also great for a table for 2. When I come back to visit Louisville, I will most definitely visit Le Moo again!
This was our second visit and a birthday celebration. Our waiter was very nice, but service was lacking in two areas. The wine that was requested to be served with dinner didn’t appear and my husband had to search for our waiter to request it be served. We requested dessert and coffee, but the dessert was served much later than when the coffee arrived. Service just seemed to be off the entire evening. Since it is an expensive dinner eaten out, this is a big failure. Food was very excellent.
We had a 1:00 brunch reservation for 12 for my son’s graduation celebration after the ceremony.
We were there a few minutes before 1:00 and were not seated until 1:40. We were told by the hostess that the people that occupied our table hadn’t gotten up yet. Possibly we were just unfortunate and the people prior to us were “campers” or possibly you are scheduling reservations too close? It was a busy Sunday. But when you have a reservation made well in advance and hosting guests a 45 minute wait is not ideal. The food and our waiter was excellent, though!
Server was amazing !!! Bartender while waiting was great as well.
Never really had a bad experience at any of the 3 places, always great food and service. The price is not a factor when you get the level of service and quality of food from a Grainger restaurant!
Had a reservation. I was seated relatively quickly. Food was delicious, I had the shrimp & grits with a large $3 Mimosa. Ambiance was good. Only negative was that our waiter got bonged down with another table. It was a table of 12 and the folks were arriving at different times. They took up a lot of his attention.
This is the 2nd time we have been to Le Moo and the food was great once again. The server was fantastic and offered several off the menu items as options for our party.
We will certainly be back again.
Steaks, drinks, chorizo soup, crab legs and espresso dessert were excellant. The potato cakes were plain and the greens were little cold and little sweet for our liking. Overall a great atmosphere and great place to eat.
The service was great. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice Decor. Nice ambiance. Good food.
Make sure you check your leftovers when you pick them up! Both times I’ve been here I’ve either gone home with someone else’s leftovers or only part of mine.
Lee Moo continues to be one of our favorites! We're looking forward to trying their new restaurant in Holiday Manor.
My family and I went for lunch on Friday to celebrate our sons 18th Birthday. Everything was wonderful!! For the amount of food we ordered the value was great and the food was amazing. We had a table for 5 in the bar area with plenty of room to move and hear my family.
Normally we love LeMoo but after this visit i don't know if we will be back. Service was beyond horrible even from the manager. Waited 30 min and had to ask twice for a server, over an hour to get food which was cold. We told the manager he offered us mimosas after the server already gave a free one for taking so long but no apology. In the end we could not find server to cash out. There were no servers to be seen bit 2 hostess' maybe hire another server? We finally asked the bartender while we watched our server back chatting with the cooks. $22 for a cold 2 hour lunch....... no thanks
Great evening. Excellent meal, top service from Walter, a bit loud from the other large party nearby but what the heck... overall a 5 of 5
Wonderful anniversary experience. Had a private dining experience and complimentary champagne to celebrate. Thank you for a fantastic evening.
Mother’s Day dinner
We were seated in the bar area, so it wasn't as nice. The drinks were slow to be served, and my mother's water was never refilled. Food coming from the kitchen was poorly timed in its spacing. Salad and chowder came only a few minutes before the entree. The dessert was dry and wasn't flavored rightand had a grainy syrup.
Fabulous place for a special occasion or Sunday Brunch!
Great atmosphere and service!! We got seated quickly, had great service!! We've been several times before and will be back! Even when there's an issue, LeMoo is quick to fix it and make it right!
Restaurant dirty, food cold and greasy, the vibe at Le Moo is “We Don’t Care”. Took my mother there for Mother’s Day, it was horrible. Will never return.
We had an amazing time with our 3 generation mother day brunch. The food was perfect, the service was top notch and the memory was priceless.
Le Moo never disappoints. I took my mom for mother's day brunch and it was delicious and very filling. This was her first time and we will both be back. Can't wait to bring my husband.
Food was excellent. But service was below par. We was seated as soon as we got there, waited 10 minutes before a server came over, she immediately comp our drinks without us even saying anything, that was great. But it got worse unfortunately. I got a different appetizer than I ordered, had to get my own water twice then took 8 minutes to get a steak knife. After all that we left without our leftovers because after waiting 5 minutes for for the hostess to come back we got tired and left. But the food was awesome!!!
Food was good, waiter had too many tables. Manager did try to make up for it, but it did put a damper on our evening.
Ok, so I have tried LeMoo for both dinner and the brunch show ... both had their issues ... but the regular lunch/brunch visit was AMAZING. I may not go back for dinner, but I will be a regular with them for lunch from now on!!! Amazing meal ... everything was flawless. No surprises on the bill, no disappointments in the food, no issues what so ever. I can honestly say that I am so glad I gave them another shot and that I found my LeMoo nitch!
Brought my mother and MIL to brunch the Saturday of mother's day weekend. Food was excellent for the limited menu, prices were fair but portions were large. I feel that the service wasnt as well for the amount of customers. We had longer than normal wait times for refills and our check. Overall though, it was a good experience.
Great Food and Great Atmosphere. We had the Filet and Prime Ribeye. It was excellent
Our server, Dan, was outstanding! We were accompanied by friends who were having their first dinner at Le Moo. Our table ordered both steaks and seafood, all of which was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The ambiance and attention to detail in both the dining experience and the quality of the food was outstanding. We will keep coming back and continue to recommend Le Moo to our friends.
absolutely amazing! great prices and insane food! best brunch ever!!!
Our server Sam was horrible. The busser was more attentive to our table than she was. We observed her pay more attention to her other tables but we were neglected. Table that was sat next to us left without ordering. Food was amazing, have been before with wonderful service. Sorry Sam doesn't make the cut.
The first thing I noticed when seated was the crusty water glass. Our waitress eventually showed up to fill our water and replaced the glass. The food and drinks came out fast enough but service wasn’t exactly attentive. Our server was nice though. I’ve been to Le Moo several times, the food is usually pretty good but also fairly overpriced. I wish I could say I was surprised to see the menu had been jacked up a little higher because it was Derby weekend. I decided on the $17 Short Rib hash. Guinness Braised Short Ribs and crispy potatoes with butternut squash and poached eggs. Sounded delicious. Unfortunately the meat came out tough and chewy and the potatoes came out soft, mushy and lacking that golden brown color. I took a scoop of potatoes and, though they lacked the crispness claimed in the menu, they weren’t bad; I especially enjoyed the addition of the butternut squash. I wasn’t unhappy. Then I pierced that first egg with my fork. Instead of a runny yolk creating a delicious sauce for my dish I was left with a gelatinous yellow center. Coincidentally the lady sitting next to us ordered the same dish and I noticed her egg was over cooked too. You’d think at the prices they charge they’d be able to afford a kitchen staff that can cook an egg. The experience wasn’t terrible, as I was with good company and the Mimosas were reasonably priced, but I will think twice before returning to Le Moo as I don’t like getting robbed.
We came to Le Moo after the Derby to celebrate the day. The food was very good. But the service was horrible. They got my drink wrong. Didn’t apologize. They gave us the wrong appetizer. Didn’t apologize. We waited over an hour or more for our food. Then to end it, they overcharged me for my steak but it took them so long to come back after the check, after we had been there for 2 hours because of the slow service, so we just left. Very disappointing to say the least and was a very bad end to a great day. Doubt I’ll ever come back.
I’ve been to Le Moo several times for brunch, and by several, I mean at least 20. The most recent visit was not great to say the least. We saw our sever twice for the entire visit and our food came out incorrect and was never fixed. It was Derby so I’ll give them that, however, they weren’t busy as it was 2:00 in the afternoon and they appeared to be staffed accordingly.
I was so excited to finally get to go and definitely did not disappoint! Food delish! Service attentive! Staff rock stars!!
Derby - brunch food was wonderful! Love this place
