We took the train from Kingston to Montreal for the sole purpose of enjoying lunch with friends from overseas. This bistro in the Fairmont Queen E right next to the Central Station was the perfect spot to meet our friends. The service was good and friendly, the food was delicious and our friends especially enjoyed the special lobster season menu. My salmon dish was very tasty, although the cooked endives were a little tough. We were able to linger and enjoy the afternoon without feeling rushed at all. It was quiet and we had a view of the outdoors. I would return.

Great service, good food. Booked at last minute due to travel plan change, and since we had just checked into the hotel. Was a better-than-expected prix fixe meal. My wife was happy, so of course I was too.
