We have never had anything but a fabulous evening at Le Jardin du Roi - what we consider our dining room.
It’s beyond well-run, the staff is amazing and the food incredible.
As always another Amazing dinner at this local staple!!!
We were rushed from the beginning, although they weren’t busy. Guessing they were preparing for 8:00 local crowd. Dinner came out when we were half way through our salads. Less than 30 minutes after we arrived. Place is nothing special. Won’t be going back.
Bday celebration with another couple. Best real food in Westchester County.
The food and service was excellent as always. Such a friendly, family oriented atmosphere every time we dine at Le jardin.
Main dish chicken was undercooked, tasteless & overpriced, salad greens not fresh.
Calling this restaurant a "French Restaurant" is a joke. Worse experience I have ever had at a restaurant. When I mentioned the poor quality to the staff no one cared. They were very dismissive. I can not emphasize that this restuarant should be AVOIDED. Now I know why at 8pm on a Thursday evening we were one of only two tables occupied . Calling Le Jardin du Roi a French restuarnt is a fraud. AVOID.
So disappointed....the food was not at all what I expected, poor quality for a French restaurant.
Will not go back
Not authentic at all. Very strange mixed European restaurant.
Reliable Chappaqua source for moules frites, garlic shrimp, salads with chicken etc. Menu has been scaled back due to covid-19 which makes it less of a french bistro although still quite good. Outdoor dining in summer is a plus. Family friendly during early hours.
always an excellent experience. an excellent staff, the food is always delicious
As usual, great service. Menu fit everyone’s tastes! Outdoor tables were very nicely spaced. Wonderful
charming outdoor dining area. Easy parking. Excellent service
Quite surprised to see American care food taking over the menu. The mussels needed more seasoning, the trout was dry and no flavor.
We loved the drinks!!!
This was the second time we have been there. We went with some friends visiting from L.A. and it was great! The food is awesome, the wine was reasonably priced and the service is always stellar.
The veggie burger and hangar steak were good, but not for the price. The waitstaff are very friendly and attentive though!
Great food. Great service. We visit regularly.
Great food and service. I would recommend to anybody looking for a romantic date with great food and drinks
Great meal and great service
My husband and I have made this place a regular for years . We have never been disappointed and neither have any of our friends and family who we have ordered . Every dish is delicious!
If you love a good cocktail they have the longest cocktail list ever and I try a different one each time we go!
The staff is so caring and so attentive and you feel like you’re being pampered
Their spare rib barbecue we’ve ordered several times and the best we have ever had and I thought mine were the best
I had lunch with a friend on a Sunday at noon. The food was good. I had mussels with a curry cream sauce and fries. The mussels were delicious as was the sauce. The fries were fairly dried out and not very tasty. The menu selection was excellent with a little something for everyone's taste. My two complaints over lunch were the number of bees that continued to swarm out table outside and the attentiveness of our server.
Lovely Covid birthday celebration. Good social distancing protocols.
Le Jardin du Roi is not only a restaurant, it's a warm and friendly place to get great food, be treated like you're family and feel like you're dining al fresco in the south of France...and only 3 miles from home.
Had a very good experience. Had outdoor seating with a very pleasant waiter. The food was very good. I had the omelet with ham, mushrooms and tomato. Everyone liked what they ordered. Brownie desert was excellent. My three year old grand-daughter loved it. Bread pudding was excellent. Good time was had by all. Will go again very soon.
Excellent experience all around!! Highly recommend and will be going back.
Love Le Jardin!
Food was very sub par. Will give it another chance but was very disappointed.
Le Jardín has been a favorite of ours for more than 12 years. The outdoor seating during Covid was well placed under a tent and the ambience was great. Food quality is always top notch as is their ability to accommodate food allergies. Recommend the burgers, salads and seasonal specials. Service was well organized and reasonably prompt. Mostly 30s-60s crowd with some families at dinner.
It's nice to sit outside and enjoy a good meal.
Local restaurant, food was wonderful. Outdoor dining under a tent.
Le Jarvis always a great option, and especially now as they have outdoor dining. A lovely setting for a summer evening with good company!
All protections were in place for COVID. Dinner not as good as usual. Fish lacked flavor and meat not as tender as other times. Fries usually exceptional were overcooked and dry.
Always great for brunch!!
We had a very pleasant dinner at Jardin du Roi, taking advantage of some nice weather to eat in the very pleasant outdoor seating area. The service was very good - smooth and not intrusive. The food is classic French bistro plates with a couple of modern twists. My roasted salmon accompanied at my request by French Fries was excellent and all other diners in my group were similarly satisfied. Selection of wines was adequate. All in all a very good experience.
We went to a restaurant for the first time since Covid shutdown. We enjoyed le jardin as they had a nice outdoor table with plenty of social distancing. Staff were very attentive and service was excellent. The only ding is, Steak was soft but sauce was bland, might as well not put this sauce on? ( “Hanger steak”). Overall, enjoyed the experience.
Great outdoor patio!
Horrible food and service. Too bad we used to love this place. It was our go to. They changed the menu and have a new staff. Both bad
Sorry but this is not the same place we loved! We used to come and enjoy great food service and atmosphere.
The service was terrible, the food literally not edible. Sitting outside is nice and they separated the tables. But I won’t go back. My daughters burger was gross and everything else mediocre to say the least. Too bad
Great outdoor garden seating
Our go to has weathered the storm. Glad to see menu getting back to normal.
